Taco Bell

I hadn’t had Taco Bell in forever and wanted to get some food out on this Fourth of July. Alas, nothing was open for lunch. I am a big fan of their tostada salads and Taco Belling we went.
Their salads are great for what they are. When did they start putting those red tortilla strips on the salads though? Not a fan of those things.

Really, what’s there to review. It’s Taco bell. it not authentic Mexican bit it is sure tasty and the dollar menu bombards you with choices galore on a budget w/​o compromising what Taco bell delivers the best.

I placed a gigantic, complex order to serve Breakfast Burritos to our staff members. Julian and Uti were very responsive for setting up the order in advance, and on the day of pick-​up everything was fresh, hot, on time and even more importantly CORRECT! Our team loved the special treat, and everyone remarked on how delicious the food was. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

Wow– one of the nicest and cleanest Taco Bells I’ve been to. They made the food right. Friendly service and TVs. Go ahead and go inside, take a seat, and live mas’!

I would rate this restaurant with zero stars if I could. My journey begins at midnight as me and my buddies made a late night munchies run. As we pulled up to the speaker to place our order, the drive through woman greeted us with a bucketful of sass and displeasing comments. As If this was not bad enough, she «mistook» our order, as she claims, and I ended up short 4 tacos. Since our order was on the larger side, the attendant started making fat jokes and teasing us for our large order. All we wanted was food. Overall, I recommend any traveler heading in the direction of this Taco Bell to avoid it at ALL COSTS!

Best taco bell I’ve ever went to, fast and friendly service, everything tasted fresh, the employee that took my order was very polite and helpful, i think his name was Victor, he seems like a really good person.

Never had an issue here.
Food is always what you would expect at any decent taco bell. Inside is clean though i use the drive through.
The people working are usually very nice as long as you are nice to them.
Service is always quick and i have never had my order messed up or anything

This was a case of… whoops where’s the taco?
So we ordered a slew of tacos after a super fun night at the Aqua Park. Too wet and in our bathing suits to get out of the car, we ordered four regular and four Dorito shell beef tacos and got all the way home only to find about two tablespoons of meat in each one of our tacos — yeah just the meat. Ummm… don’t tacos come with cheese and lettuce and all that other stuff? The kids were out of their minds hungry, but my hubby was so pissed off that he packed up the tacos and drove all the way back to the restaurant to find out what happened to the rest of our tacos. Mind you, we live about 12 minutes away.
Okay, so it was almost funny that we ended up with pretty much just the shells for $ 10, but are you kidding? Knowing my hubby was pissed and had to drive all the way back, all I could think of was… Taco Bell, now is the chance to redeem yourself because there is a review coming. When he showed them the tacos, somehow they heard me say «plain» in the car and somehow didn’t hear me say «with whatever it comes with.» Hmmm… regardless the restaurant did a redeeming good job and made our tacos the right way in addition to offering to pay for our entire meal. They asked my hubby what he wanted. He told them he just wanted the right order. They were super sorry and threw in an additional bag of brownies for all of us.
Yeah it’s just Taco Bell, but in my opinion even a fast food location can suck real bad. These guys had their act together, gave us the right order and my kids went to bed with full tummies after all. Great job management, we’ll be back!

Taco Bell has played a role in my food memories over the years. From getting the then 10-​pack of tacos for dinner with my dad to late-​night runs in college, everyone has their own connection to Taco Bell.
When we moved to the NorthShore, I was expecting to find one nearby. However, there wasn’t one. Sometimes, I just don’t have the time, energy or desire to cook. And you can’t feed the kids McDonald’s. Welcome Taco Bell!
The drive-​thru always has my order correct and gets those hot sauces in our bag. (What is a taco without hot sauce?!?)
I can get a 12-​pack of soft (or hard shell) tacos. The whole family is happy, especially hubby who gets his Mex fix in for the week.

When this Taco Bell opened up last year, it filled an important void in the North Shore. No stand-​alone Taco Bell existed within 15 minutes of Highland Park, requiring frequent runs to the Glenview, North Chicago, or Wheeling borders.
This Taco Bell puts most upscale eateries to shame. Flatscreen TVs. Wi-​Fi. Clean floors and tables. Employees who go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Viva Taco Bell!
