I went in to use the restroom before ordering breakfast and thank god I did! There were roaches all over the floor… DISGUSTING!

It’s about the people… even if you have just a run of the mill product, the right employees can make a huge difference. Driving south in a miserable snow/rain storm, I needed gas and food. I pulled off the highway for gas and saw a Hardee’s right across from the service station. Braving the elements, without a coat or a hat, I dashed from my car to the restaurant. «It’s a Hardee’s», I thought, and my expectations were immediately lowered. I went to wash my hands and noticed the restroom was very clean and was not smelly at all. «Maybe this place isn’t so bad,» I mused. My suspicions were confirmed when I was greeted at the counter by the cheerful, upbeat and professional Tanisha. She helpfully took my order and then explained that someone would bring the food to my table. Table service at a fast food restaurant? When did Hardee’s get so classy? In New York it’s an effort to get the workers at McDonald’s to push the food to you across the counter. I found a seat in the spacious and clean dining room and before you know it, a smiling Tanisha brought my food, asked if I had everything I needed and then sincerely wished me a good day. My cheeseburger and the fries were fine, but the experience was wonderful. Even the dreary weather couldn’t dampen the warm feeling I had as I left the restaurant. Management is doing a good job. the place is clean and well run. The staff is well trained and most importantly, they’re hiring the right people, like Tanisha. I hope the Hardee’s regional management recognizes what a nice place this location is. And I hope Tanisha’s manager gives her a raise and a promotion… she’s truly an asset to the organization.
