Worst service I’ve ever had at an apple bees. We waited for over an hour & we’re only told it would be 15 min. We got here at 7:35& didn’t get seated till 8:30. The host was very rude & was ignoring us, & when we asked to speak to a manager she had to audacity to talk back to my grandfather. I believe her name was merissa, marizta? even though the manager made sure we got free appetizers, they forgot about our drinks & food. Seemed like the manger could careless about our needs just as her servers did. We didn’t get out food & drinks till 2 hours of being there. the service was horrible. Never will I be returning to this establishment. Should of went to to chilies.

Came for mother day. Always a good place to eat. But today I notice the manager Trish that she is a African American. I think that’s how you spell her name. Was passing $ 10 off for mother day but the only people she gave it to was African Americans I was so surprise that she did that. There was lots of other mothers there.

This review isn’t for the food… just wanted to give a BIGTHANKYOU to all the staff there. My aunt«Ernie» is a frequent customer, and she orders off the menu items and I’m sure talks your ears off when given the chance. She’s old and has no children of her own and can be abrupt and sometimes kinda rude although she doesn’t really mean it. Anyways I really appreciate how you all go out of your way to be kind to her. And what a wonderful thing to present her with a mother’s day gift. I had to explain to her that you were just being kind because she doesn’t always understand things. Anyways THANKYOU again your kindness is immeasurable

Hadn’t been to this Applebee’s for 3 months after a real disappointing experience. Well the heat in the Berdo/Highland area as summer nears and being close to this location made us give it one last try. What a change. Spotless interior, super cold beer and drinks, on point appetizers and above all 1st class customer service. Our server Tanesh sets an example for how to get it done. Helpful, friendly, and that old school service of checking back with us to see if we need anything else. These days it seems you get seated and forgotten. Not here. Beer so cold it almost hurts. Drinks tall and well crafted and appetizers that were delicious, fresh, hot and generous in size. Hit all the important points. Turned a tough day into great one. A happy hour that made us happy. Will be back soon… UPDATE… Went back 5 days latter and this Applebee’s has slid back to what it had been. Slow, dirty, mediocre food and drinks, and a manager who when contacted sends the party line corporate email about how we sometimes fail but keep coming back and spend more money. No questions or contact. Left an email for Area Directer Kurt Duffner but he must be to busy to inquire about customer service and complaints. That’s it for Applebee’s. Would bump my rating to 2 stars for overall performance.

I live the food at Applebee’s but they are always changing the menu. Things I liked have changed and it’s just not the same. I had riblets and every time I go they are different. I had three rubs two were fine but the third was burned horribly. Couldn’t even try to it even with the sauce on it so that made for a pricey dog treat. This location is ok but I have been to better ones. This is in the middle. The staff were all nice. They need to learn how to Cooks is on her way the riblets better.

Star rating for the desert. So I ordered a chocolate brownie shortie. It looked really good on menu, however what was brought out looks nothing like what’s advertised. What’s missing uh the brownie!!! And the chocolate syrup. It was hot and nasty didn’t even taste like a shake. So disappointed. How they going to advertise a brow ire shake with a picture of the brownie in it and then bring this??? Smh!!!

Service was great, eventhough they had a pack house well expected for a Friday night we got seated right away. We got our order really fast. The servers were very polite and attentive, I believe it was the manager who also checked if we had been helped yet. Drinks where delicious and so was the food!!! Definitely going back!!!

Happy hour is great. Place is always busy. We always get the wonton chicken tacos as an appetizer… would make a great meal by itself. Stout fried chicken meal… yummy. We sat at the bar. The bartender waited on us she was fast and friendly… we will be back agai.

We had made call at 5:30pm for a table at 7pm; we’ve arrived and apparently they didn’t write down our party. So we had to wait an hour to be seated, we weren’t even seated together. Such bad service. Ruined our night.

Hit or miss here most of time lately it’s been a miss. Service is horrible at best as our waiter didn’t bring us utensils to eat with until we asked for them. The bar staff was very slow getting drinks out and then they sat on the bar for a long time waiting for someone to bring them to us. Part of our order never came out to us and when asked the waiter said they would remake it as it was cold I’m sure. When it comes to our table the fries had been reheated in a microwave or something because they were hard and dry. We made him bring hot fresh ones. What the hell do they think we wouldn’t notice. Not the first time the service has sucked here. Food is just ok but the service needs revamped. Maybe some training would help.

Service was sooooooo slow, even just for a basic side salad or veggies side order it took about an hour and then about 30 mins to get the check! It wasn’t even busy. The food was super oily too and bland. Will be going somewhere else next time! Sad I love Applebee’s but there service is just awful.

Half off appetizers and drinks can’t go wrong! I had two red apple Sangrias and buffalo wings! The sauce was so good on the wings and the chicken was good and crispy. The drinks were perfect! Staff was nice and always came to check on us. Fun atmosphere better then most other Applebee’s I’ve been to

This place is a fast food bar masquerading as a restaurant. Staff likes that you pay at the table, and they still get a tip for taking your order and bringing it to you. So you see them twice(no drink refills anymore?). Drunk customers often laugh loudly with staff joining in.

The walk up to the door and the first step into the breezeway greeted us signs of filth and the odor of perhaps cleaning solution. We arrived for a very late lunch, the restaurant was well staffed, but service was slow. Finally, we placed our orders, then waited again, way too long, for food to arrive. When my food arrived, my pork and cheese sandwich looked as if it had tumbled off the plate on the way out of the kitchen. After reconstructing the sandwich, I found i was short on napkins to wipe the grease off my fingers. The sandwich was just blah… noting special given the $ 10.99 price. The house chips on the other hand were quite good… so why did I need to prompt the waitress for them… perhaps she was too focused on the up sell to sweet potato fries. Anyway, I doubt I will be back soon… this was a nostalgic stop since my son used to like this place… fortunately, he likes other places now. Is this restaurant just a symptom of dying San Bernardino or is the entire chain?

Been coming here for 4 years now and the service has gone down hill. Drastically. Everything is unsatisfactory to the point that I’m writing this review as I’m still here because 1. It took us 10 mins to get seated 2. It took us another 20 mins to get the menus and our orders in 3. 40 mins to get our appetizers 4. 55 mins to get our entrees. Wtf Applebee’s, get your ish together!!! This place used to have great service and management. Now it just seems like no one gives an eff about customers, wow. I guess I’ll only come here when we grow tired of the fast food options around here… Otherwise, mediocre food and bad service Two thumbs down

GREATSERVICEANDDELICIOUSFOODSTARTTOFINISH! We were greeted at the door by the manager, seated immediately and served quickly. The food came out hot and it was absolutely delicious. The little touch screen option to swipe and pay is really convenient and we were in and out fast. I also really liked the décor that highlighted community organizations like the CHP, Fire and Sheriff’s dept. We will definitely be back.

Can’t review the food because our server is slow as hell. 25 minutes in and we don’t even have our drinks yet. Finally got our drinks after 30 minutes and the place isn’t even busy. Rose! She’s the slow ass. Someone else took her place. Hopefully he’s better.

This place is one of the nicer Applebee’s I have eaten at. The place is clean and has pictures of the local sheriff and fire departments on the walls(A nice classy touch). The service was very good and so was the food. The parking was adequate. The restrooms were clean. We would eat here again. It is hard to find a good place like this in the area that is open after 9:00 P. M

Can’t say that I’ve even been all that much of a fan of Applebee’s food. This is taste specific so I won’t dare fault the restaurant for it. Dined here just this past(Good) Friday and the customer service was absolutely amazing. To be honest, my family and I all agreed that this level of customer service most likely wouldn’t be obtained anywhere within Los Angeles. The manager made it a point to greet us tableside and the staff all possessed ear to ear smiles. Despite having driven all the way from Culver City, we made it a good 20 minutes prior to «Happy Hour» ending and while our server went to retrieve our food, we noticed by way of our watches that this time frame would soon be expiring. The manager took no hesitation in coming over to inform us that because we arrived early, they would be honoring the special. This, everyone, is how things should be done. I’m not local to the area by any means, but should I find myself in Highland once again, I’ll definitely consider this place a go to spot.
