Jade Inn Chinese Restaurant

Seriously. It states that it is open on Unilocal.I get to this restaurant at 6:22 pm on a Monday. And they are closed. WTH is that though?

Nice, quiet place for a good meal. Reasonable prices and delicious. My four year old loves it too. He calls it the «tea place».

I am so please to find this wonderful Chinese Restaurant on my was from Immanual Church this am. The food was very delicious and fun to eat, it was crunchy, chewy sweet, pungent, savory and tasty all at once. I took him 75% of it for tomorrow! It’s s great plus in my life. Thanks Jade Inn!!!

Been a resident of highland for 20 years and every time I come back to this place it just goes more down hill. No service. Food isn’t great. Wouldn’t recommend it

I’ve been coming here for 12 years now! First visited in 2004 when I was pregnant with my son. All 3 of my kids (ages 11, 6, & 3) and my husband love it here, and always order the orange chicken with hot & sour soup. Now that I’m on a plant based diet I don’t eat any of the meat dishes, but they do have a nice selection for people on a plant based diet. I would also like to add that we don’t live in Highland anymore, but drive from the Bloomington/​Fontana to eat here for every birthday, mother’s/father’s day, graduation, and once a month for lunch or dinner. We haven’t found any place near us that’s as good as Jade Inn. I wish they had a location in Fontana.

Just saying this is the only Chinese restaurant in the I.E. that I go to… tastes divine!!! Combination Lo Mein, House Fried Rice and Salt&Pepper Pork Chop!!! Oh well I’m enjoying!!!

I love this place! My kids call it the «tea place» since they give you free hot tea. The food is always delicious and fresh. Price isn’t bad based on the size of the servings. We usually have enough for my lunch the next day. Service is usually good. Sometimes gets overly busy during popular holidays like Valentines Day. To think of it, I have been eating here do about 17 years. Glad to see them doing well

Lunch special is great! A lot of food for $ 7. This is always my daughters choice when it comes to us dates.

Walked in and walked right back out. Horrible smell. It’s all the plants they have. The potted soil smells like mildew! Yuck!

They are so extremely rude here. Probably the rudest customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend if you like to be treated nicely.

We LOVED the orange chicken holy cow! And the combo lo mein was just delish. The Chinese place closer to our house can’t compare. From now on we will make the drive over to Highland when we want good Chinese!
(The beef stick appetizer was hearty but not overly tasty, we will try different apps next time.)

I have a weakness for Chinese food and I love this place. My bf and I usually come for dinner because we could never make it for lunch because of work. My favorite is the broccoli beef with fried rice and egg flower soup. I always want the fried rice. Dinner is about $ 10 per dinner and we get 2 of them and we could never finish them so we talk them home and have the next day. My bf gets the sweet and sour pork because I don’t like pork. He gets his with the white rice instead of fried rice. This place is great and makes me keep coming back.

We love this restaurant for take out or dine in. I recommend orange chicken, vegetable lo mein, and hot and sour soup. Anything here with broccoli is good too!

Late post had delivery last week. Wonderful one of the only places that still delivers to your door. Food was hot and fresh. Had crispy crab ragoon very good. Vegetable egg fu Yung with gravy spot on. Wonton soup spicy great comfort soup and some chicken dish with noodles had chicken in every bite. Definitely will order delivery again worth it after long day at work. And the customer phone service very nice patient with you when you can’t decide what you want. The delivery guy also very nice. Still impressed that they actually came to the door in the apt complex.

I’m really glad I found this place. The food is great, service is friendly and they have boba, so pretty much a win win win.

Wow what a surprise. I had to give them only 2 stars tonite. I had the chicken soft noodle chow mien which was very blan, no color No flavor. Extra greasy. One I couldn’t even finish it because it left my lips dripping with oil. I had my daughters try it too, because it’s usually a hit with them. They too said it was not good at all. This was of course from the dinner menu so it’s even pricier than lunch. Maybe a different cook? Anyway I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Looks like they are losing their quality of food. I think in the last year or so their might have been an ownership or management change because their are several new employees.
Man we used to go so often they knew us when we walked through the door. Not any more. Too bad.

Went to jade inn because of reviews. We order fried rice and vegetables, brown rice
was awful. Vegetable’s were not cooked waitress was rude when I brought it to her attention. Only thing that was good was the Beer.

Food was delicious, and the vegetarian offerings are terrific. Service was friendly and prompt. Interior is a little dated, the reason I gave only 4 stars. Will definitely visit this place again.

Jade Inn has lots of space to sit in whether it’s at a table for four or at a booth the ambiance is roomy and laid back. What I like to get there is the Kung Pao 2 and it’s pretty amazing it’s traditional spicy kung Pao chicken mixed with shrimp. The chicken is very tasty with the sauce and the shrimp has a great flavor and consistency cooked just right.
The lunch special comes with an egg roll and a soup I always get the hot and sour soup and it’s dam delicious it has so much flavor I like it all by itself. You’re also served with hot tea and complimentary steamed or fried rice to go with your meal. They also deliver locally with a minimum $ 25 order

We were looking for a place to eat in Highland when it started pouring rain. My Wife pointed out this restaurant, and I said «Any port in a storm, I suppose.»
Walked in, and it took a few minutes to get used to the smell, which isnt THAT BAD, but you dont expect it.
Ordered water and tea. The hot tea was good, but not amazing. Complimentary crispy noodles came to the table, with sweet and sour sauce. They were excellent, great texture. My only gripe is, wheres the hot mustard?
Wifey and I both got Kung Pao dinners. I got shrimp, she got chicken.
The salads were ok. Wifeys Egg drop soup was good, my 3 yr-​old Daughter sampled it then stole it for herself. My sweet and sour soup was alright.
Then the entrees came. They were both great, cooked well, good texture. The peanuts, cashews, and water chestnuts were all crispy. Everything else was cooked well. Just watch out, the chilies are sliced up, thus harder to find and fish out.
We ordered Tater tots for the kids, and I must say, $ 7 for a cup of them is robbery.
The bathrooms could have easily been worse, but you can tell they took the effort to make them that much more clean and pleasant.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
The portions are just ok for the price, dont expect a platter. But at least they didnt skimp on the shrimp. I will come back if I happen to be craving Chinese in Highland..
