Located at the Bridgeview Plaza, Main Moon is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout restaurant, which is an order at the counter place with several tables & chairs for eating in. I stopped in here for dinner takeout. I ordered the C7 Sweet & Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice & Egg Roll($ 8.35 plus tax). There is some confusion with my order before I advanced paid for my food. The guy at the register initially rang me up for two orders of C7, so I repeated I only wanted one C7. The food was all set in under 10 minutes. The portion size of the dinner combination received seemed smaller than normal for the price paid at a standard Chinese restaurant(most give good portions). The sweet & sour chicken was okay(not great) and consisted of small pieces of battered dip chicken(similar to popcorn chicken with batter) and a cup of red(very) sweet & sour sauce on the side. The fried rice with pork and onions was decent. The egg roll looked like a normal size, but filled with minimal filling of pork and cabbage. mostly deep fried wrapper. I was not happy. Overall, I’ve had much better Chinese food and portions at fair prices at many other Chinese takeout places in the Hudson Valley.
