Best fun dive bar in Poughkeepsie. Marie is the best bartender ever! Great brunch and fun crowd. Very open atmosphere.

Its a bar that’s open until 4 a.m. 364 days of the year(bonus points if you can guess the one day it’s closed) what more could you ask for. Don’t expect a high class atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced. They have a few dart boards and a pool table. When I think of «bar» this is the place that comes to mind. 3:30 am on a Monday? Noahs is open.

This place was a real bummer. Myself and 3 others(2 girls and my brother) went here on a Friday evening because we read they had a happy hour with free ziti and wings if you are drinking. Since we usually do a bi-weekly Friday happy trip to somewhere local, we decided to try this place. Upon entering, we were greeted by a large, overweight, rude man who emitted an odor. Here comes the REAL fun … He stated I could not enter, because the sleeves to my shirt were cut off(in all fairness, it was a 90 degree humid afternoon). He then stated he needed ID from all of us(the youngest of us is 28). He then tells us that the women cannot wear tank tops, one of which was. He then blatantly stared at the breasts of the woman wearing the tank top, and tells us to never mind with our IDs and proceeds into the back room where he brings me out a long sleeve t-shirt and tells me if I want to stay I have to wear that(but the one woman with our group did not need one, since she had breasts and I did not obviously). At this point, our group is a little taken aback by our initial encounter but willing to still try and have a good evening. We proceed to the bar and I ask for a miller light. The rude elderly bar tender states«We don’t got miller light»(despite a miller light neon sign hanging in their window). We then asked if they had any specials or pitchers, both of which she said no to. One of the women with us opened a tab and purchased a beer. Shortly after, we all agreed this place was not what we had hoped for in the slightest, and the one woman went to pay for her beer. The bar tender told her there was a $ 15 minimum to close out, which was certainly left out of the initial tab opening. Since it was not stated, she ran it anyways and only for the cost of the drink. We all then packed up and went to the nearest Uno’s where we had a phenomenal time, had an excellent waitress who was VERY personable, ordered tons of drink specials and food, and spent over a $ 100 between the four of us that we all considered money very well spent. That could have been a sale for Noah’s but after our experience, none of us will ever go here for anything again.

Good place to meet friends. Ample parking and a friendly staff. Food is typical bar fare. Good selection of beer. Come on down.

Went here on a Wednesday for a few beers in the early evening. It had very few people in it but around 10pm it started to pick up. The prices were very resonable, I would classify it as a modestly priced dive bar. Didn’t try the food, mostly bar food from the looks of the menu. 3 stars for an average dive bar. The waitress working there was friendly, I rather fancied chatting with her.

This place was always crap — All you got from here was water downed drinks and girls with STD’s(I had a lot of guy friends). First bar I ever went to when I moved to this area and the first conversation that was brought up was someone asking me if I wanted to smoke some«trees» — well, I guess to some people that could be a start of a great relationship… so I guess to each his own. The people were dirty and loud and having sex up against the walls outside(sorry for calling you out M — you aren’t dirty!). The only redeeming quality was that I met my old BF here and we hi-tailed it out of there — to go sit in a van and talk about life and being thankful that we didn’t have any STD’s… Good times…

I’ve never really had anything bad to say about Noah’s, but I lack anything great to say about it either. Cheap drinks, darts, a pool table, and a small, but decent crowd. Sometimes that’s all you need on a Friday night.
