I only recommend this place if you’d like to put your life or your kids life on the line. Research GMOS (genetically modified chemicals), Ractopomine, and Monsato. Ractopomine is a chemical that’s been banned from injecting in meat in several countries like Russia for their hazardous side effects, but US stated its safe for consumers.?? It’s a chemical injected into the pigs and cows as their «food» rather than allowing the animals to eat healthy and exercise regularly. What’s the outcome of an individual who eats a sick animal?
–Cancer, cardiovascular disease, birth defects, retardation etc etc etc etc.
I’m not a vegetarian or any of that, I just prefer REAL HEALTHY meat.

Good breakfast and close to the freeway. The prices are quite good too. If you’re in a hurry the drive thru is pretty quick but extremely busy in the mornings so understandably it takes a little longer to go through.

I don’t even WANT to give it one star every time I eat it my heart hurts it is unhealthy there is nothing healthy except the milk

Every time I go here I get an order I didn’t order or they mess up something on my order. If you ask for sauce they give you the wrong kind and if you ask for something specific on an order, you will probably be disappointed. I love McDonald’s. I love their breakfast and their shakes, but this one needs some definite training. It shouldn’t be too much to ask to get what you order, and here, it really it a rare occasion. Definitely not your normal McDonald’s service.

Crappy service. Wait times long. Rude employees. Food is never fresh no matter how long you wait. I will definitely NEVER be back

I visit every morning 6am, drive thru staff amazing. My complaint is with the operations.
First we are in a major drought and every morning they hose down parking lot and drive thru instead of sweep or blow which would be faster and save water. Does this really need to be done daily??? Probably only once a week!
Second why are they the only McDonald’s to not do the dollar drinks?! Isn’t this a company sponsored promotion? The billboards off freeway say McDonald’s home of the dollar drink, maybe they need to add to it «except McDonald’s off baseline»

As a previous McDonald’s alumni, it is easy for me to flaws in their operation. I have been here a handful of times, my order correctness has not been consistent. Today was the last straw, the crew person put together my order, while 2 managers chit chatted with a grill person at the warming bin, instead of each serving customers at the counter of drive thru. This is unacceptable, as there was a line. About 10 minutes later, we went to use the bathroom in the kids area. It was a discussing mess, and I could clearly see the 2 managers and the crew person on a Mcflurry break out front. As a manager, I took my breaks supervising the crew from the lobby or if another manager was available, in the break room or office. This looks very bad to customers, when their lobby ot bathrooms are dirty and you have multiple people on breaks.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I went today to get something to drink before heading home to Pasadena. They were hanging up balloons in the lobby, when I approached an employee and said, «Hi, I have a child in the car, a young girl, who is mentally retarded and LOVES balloons. Could I get one for her? The employee with a smile said, «No sir, these are decorations.» I was a bit SHOCKED and said, «Well, it would be a random act of kindness are your part given the unique situation. She still said, «No».
I asked to see the manager, HOLLY MOSAB, but she was not available and spoke to one of the assistant managers instead, who restated yet again, what the employee told me. So, loudly I said, «Wow, McDonald’s, who relies on young children to buy BILLIONS of hamburgers can’t even spare a balloon for a mentally challenged girl and I walked out.
I’ll never eat in another McDonald again.

All around horrible… They NEVER get my order right. It’s almost expected to get my order wrong every time.
They hire the WORST people. You can honestly ask them and they will tell you that they don’t get a shit. They are only there for a paycheck. Customer service is at the bottom of the «to-​do list».
I also don’t understand the penny pinching bastard who chose to make everyone pay for each God damn sauce! I would understand if McDonald’s was a failing fast food joint but it’s the largest! They are so greedy for money that they charge per sauce?!

This is the worst McDonald’s, no matter what you order they make you park to wait for your food. Service is hit/​miss most of the time it’s a miss.

This McDonald’s is a disgrace! Every single time we come here, (we rarely come but when we do it’s only because of the convenient location) we go through the drive thru and r greeted by impatient and rude workers with serious attitudes! When we ask questions about the menu they act like we’re bothering them or something. It’s pretty frustrating. If I could I would rate it 0 stars.

It is rare that this Mc. Donalds is open at 5:00 a.m. Team usually is rushing around at 5:10 still preparing cash registers. Often they are «out» of items on the breakfast menu. The morning staff is very unprofessional, rude and look half awake. The way the speak is unclear and improper. It is very hard to makeout what they are saying. The owners need a staff makeover for the morning crew of this Mc.Donalds. Especially the morning manager, she’s the worst!

This place is always pretty busy. I’m a Mickey ds whore I’ve been to ALOT. This place has the freshest unsweetend ice tea and best fries EVER. And I’m only judging on that !

Pretty clean here, my only gripe is that they only one person at the front (there are at least 8 people in line), whereas all the workers are focused on drive thru.

Don’t bother. The drive thru was so bad I had to leave. It wasn’t even moving, and cars were running out of room in their poorly designed, cramped area of a drive thru. Ridiculous. This had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the food. I didn’t even get to the food!

They have gotten much better in the cleaning department. Looks like the designated person in the play area is actually cleaning in regular intervals. Or maybe I just caught them on a good day.
Really hard to write a review on McDonalds food, except for maybe a new product. Funny that people are writing reviews talking about the food being bad. Might be average but I guess everyone has a favorite average food then. Lol but seriously it is what it is. Not Gourmet but from time to time you may crave something from here. I like the apple pies. The holiday pies (seasonal) are good too. And no matter what you say not too many burger joints can out do there fries. There are a few specialize places that do but they are few and far between.
The only thing I need you to do is clean McDonalds. You know people are going to come because their kids probably run the house lol. Pick up the trash and falling food and wipe down the tables and you and me are good McDs.

For the life of me I do not know why people live in Florida. They have hurricanes, Crocodiles, Snakes, Lizards, and huge property taxes. I watched a special where they had to get snakes and crocs out of peoples yards. There was this huge lizard that was under someone shed too! Why would this be a place for retirees? If you are older why would you want to fight off animals?! If someone told me that the weather is nice in California but you have to deal with dragons do you think I would have moved here???

For those of you who have no sense of history — McDonald’s started in this area. The very first one EVER was a few miles from here on E. Street. There’s a museum there now. That being said — you’d think that most of the other McD’s around the area would have some sense of pride to be working in the area were the craze was born.

The food at this McD’s is. well… pretty much what you expect it to be; consistent. I personally find it consistently tasteless, but your mileage may very. And yet for some reason — I MUST have a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese every so often.
What gets this location such a low rating is simple: Customer Service and the ability (or lack thereof) to get my order right.
Yes. I know. McD’s is often a teen’s first job — and they are usually in a learning mode of some kind whilst working here. But for some reason… a good 70−80% of the time we order from here, no matter if its from the drive through or in the store itself. they get the darn order WRONG!
Most of the time they leave out ¼ of the order… or give us items we didn’t order… or don’t pay attention to special instructions (like putting tomatoes on my burger when I ask NOT to put those EVIL, DISGUSTINGLY LARVAL things on my food.
And when I or my wife try to correct the order in a polite way, I either get an attitude or blank, vacuous look from either the line worker or the manager.
I’ve been to other McD’s over my lifetime (who hasn’t?) and received far, FAR better customer service than here… so I can’t say its a chain-​endemic problem.
REALLY, Highland McDonald’s …ramp up your customer service… as it is, I feel you’re an embarrassment to Highland. I’d rather go kitty-​corner to Wendy’s or down the street and around the corner to Carls, Jr.

A McDonalds review, really? Yes! I LOVE McDonalds breakfast and after starving for an hour on the road from Pasadena, before going into the mountains of Big Bear, I desperately wanted a breakfast burrito to accompany me in my trip. I actually tried to find a McDonalds earlier on 210 but was unsuccessful and ended up detouring to this McDonalds instead.
Great find, service was fast, prompt, interior was clean and bathrooms were well maintained. McDonalds, you have satisfied my cheap breakfast cravings once again. Bravo.
