My husband’s work holiday party was here tonight. The customer service here was amazing. We came in and got shown where the room was which is the first room you see walking in before the gaming center where the pool tables are. My husband and I were the first to get there. Although that was fine with the staff. They accommodated us until everyone showed up. Kept refilling my water which my husband thought was Fuji bottled water, man I think he was on something because that was no Fuji water, it was normal tap water. Then we had the buffet area which was salsa, chips, corn, chicken, macaroni and cheese and bread rolls with butter. It all tasted good. Man was I stuffed after all that, just getting seconds was enough! Finally we got our game cards after doing the white elephant gift exchange which thanks to Dave and Buster’s for also assisting with that fun activity. The game cards had $ 10 worth of games to spend. We used it all up between the two of us in less than half an hour. If you want to have a good company holiday party Dave and Buster’s will happily accommodate your large crowd! Their staff are super nice and friendly and will get anything you need! I will definitely be back here not just for company outings but also for fun as well!

My husband and I visited this location as part of our weekend getaway birthday celebration in honor of my husband. I had never been to Dave and Busters so I thought this would be great date night fun for us. I ordered the mini bar burgers with boneless wings and tots. I didn’t eat half of it because it had next to no flavor, the burgers were frozen patties that were barely warm, the chicken was chewy and the tots were greasy. My husband ordered wings and sweet potato fries and seemed okay with his food. Being this was our first time, we had no idea how everything worked. We explained that to our server and told her we would do the $ 50 card not realizing it would take us forever to go through those points. She wasn’t very helpful in explaining things or offering any advice. Lucky for her that made our bill pretty big and she was tipped accordingly. Onto the gaming! For a Saturday night after 8pm we were disappointed to see so many kids! It was hard to enjoy ourselves with the little ones(and not so little ones) jumping in front of us to play or in one instance, a little boy took our tickets and then put his card in to play. It was chaotic and honestly I think for what we paid, we could have done the same thing at ChuckECheese with better tasting food. Overall we felt that this place is completely overrated and we have no plans to return. We were under the impression it was for an older crowd and a fun environment with great food. We had fun anyways but it wasn’t what we thought it would be.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Hilliard D&B. I was here as part of a work event and the managers seemed to have everything under control. It was nice to choose your entrée from a selection of 8 and we all commented on how the entrees looked just like the pictures when they came out to the tables. I heard positive comments about all of the food. After lunch, my plan was just to play a few games and then leave, but I got sucked into fun! My coworkers and I all had a blast and stayed longer than we expected to. There were a few games I wanted to play that were broken, so that was a bummer.

My family has eaten here numerous times. The food is always average(except the nachos, those are always great), the cocktails are ok, the service is also ok. The prices seem a little high for what you’re getting, but it’s because of the convenience of the fun, I’m sure. You can usually expect to wait on a table on the weekends, along with a pretty decent crowd playing games. The games are fun and we usually only pay about $ 20(don’t forget your coupon, they’re easy to come by) for 3 of us to play for about an hour after we use the coupon. We usually don’t have to wait in a line for a game we want to play because there is a large selection. The baby is pretty good there with watching the lights from different games, and my 8 year old could spend hours there. Good family fun!

My wife and I went there yesterday on July 1st2015. We always get that grouchy looking bartender and top it off they treated us like we were begging for drinks for free. We had three gummy bear shots within 30 mins and they say they can’t serve us anymore cause we are buying too many shots back to back. The bar area is always messy. The manager walk in back and forth but doesn’t know how to manage his employee. Half of the games in there doesn’t work. My sister got ignored when she was trying to get prizes for her kids. This place is ridiculous! Oh and the smell was so bad when we walked in, it smell like a woman was trying to spray tremendous amount of perfume to cover up her nasty monthly smell.

Prepare to have horrendous restaurant service if this place is busy. Beyond horrid service.

We mostly come on Wednesdays which are half price. It’s always a blast. Very few games are out of order. Service is fairly quick to respond if a machine is out of tickets or malfunctioning. The bathrooms are usually dirty. I have never ordered food at this location but the game and dinner deals seem like they might be fun for date night. Saving tickets for a mega prize.

Wow, wow, wow D&B. Last December the company I work for had a territory meeting at D&B for the Holidays(formerly known as Christmas). Food was as expected, atmosphere good, and a decent beer selection(I had a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale; delicious). After dinner we were split into three teams of 8 people and had a fun challenge comprising of three or four different games with the winners facing off on a game I was unfamiliar with. A 7 foot wall of probably 50 – 75 lights turn on at random and to turn them off and earn points you simply hit the buttons. All good fun, but that’s all of the good… enough to earn one star. The entire, and I mean entire building smelled of sulfur dioxide, aka rotten eggs, aka raw sewage. There were signs as you entered the restroom apologizing for the odor, but it was so bad that I had to hold my breath while in the bathroom and actually gagged and thought I was going to fill a urinal with over-priced deep-fried goodness. Now I understand the occasional odor issue, but after taking my girlfriend there for her first D&B experience last month(February 2015 and a full two months after the first run-in with the odor), the stench remained without the warning signs and almost 50% of the games we wanted to play were out of order. Almost every«push the coins off the ledge» game was out of order, the pacman game’s joystick didn’t work properly, so we were basically jerking the machine around in an attempt to get our little dot gobbler moving to no avail. It was highly disappointing, especially after raving about how much fun D&B is to a first-timer. They’ve also brought in a lot of newer games(which should be a good thing), but they seem to be aimed at a much younger crowd and have removed a lot of — what I considered fun — games like Hydro Thunder and many other racing games. We played ski ball on one of the two functional lanes only after swiping our cards on several other lanes, and getting no response other than the confirmation of points remaining after charging us. We played a couple of store-dominated first person shooter games only to find the calibration so far off on one that pointing the«weapon» at the floor earned me a kill, but not when pointing it directly at the objective. I’ve been to several different D&B locations, so please don’t view this as a company-wide issue. This is solely the Hilliard location by my experience. Polaris was nice, but small and Cincinnati’s is amazing. A lot bigger, cleaner, better service and a wider variety of games. Maybe we’ll make a trip to Cincy the next time the D&B bug hits.

Dave & Buster’s is a great place to go for some random overpriced fun. The food isn’t great — but it’s not horrific. You won’t have an entrée you go bragging back to your friends about. In fact, you might forgot your order by the time you get home. The games are fun but not cheap. It’s a cool place to go with friends — especially for the competitive types.

If you consider what they offer, some great arcade games and ticket dispensing craziness that you can’t barely find anywhere, I’m wiling to lay some slack on some other aspects. Food is pretty good, service varies. Alcohol selection is ok, though some of their mixed drinks are a bit disappointing(but then again, where isn’t these days?). Arcade selection pretty good for family and friendly fun. Granted you’re not going to find any street fighter(for that you’ll have to go to sixteen bit bar), but there IS a Pump it Up machine! Dance like its the late 90s and early aughts! Definitely visit on a Monday –Thursday and get your free play on after 9PM with a power card charge, and always look for good deals by joining their subscription. Had a great time there at new years eve this year… actually sadly? the best new years eve I’ve had in a while.

Terrible service and food. But 1 big star for a nice cold beer. The server didn’t know our table was her section(honest mistake, I get it) but 15 mins to get a drink order is a little ridiculous. We ordered buffalo wings and they were served with no plates or dressing. I ordered the fish and chips which was saturated with grease and doesn’t come with tartar sauce. My date ordered the Philly which was ok, but came out wrong. Halfway through my meal, I discovered a hair in my food and the server had nothing to say about it but took the food and didn’t offer any resolution. A manager never visited the table and the fish and chips remained on the bill. We ordered a game card and played for a little whole but about half the games were out of service. No reason to go back.

I had such a fun night out with friends. A few of the machines were out of order, but that didn’t stop us from playing the others. This was my first time. I noticed the employees were doing a phenomenal job sanitizing the area and wiping down the tables next to the games. This is really important and much appreciated! Thanks for a great evening.

It is what it is. The kids like it. It’s sensory overload, a money pit, food is average at best, the drinks are over priced and weak. But the kids like it and the selection of games is decent, so I’ll give it two stars.

D&B is a place were an adult can be a kid again; for a little bit at least, one can be a character in a Mario Cart race, go on a mission for the Army, race(or crash awkwardly through the course) in some downtown fictional city, or play the classic non-technological, carnival games like quick shoot, skeet ball, or air hockey. Of course, they also have adult fun like strong drinks and some decent food. I hadn’t been in this arcade themed bar for 14-years when my brother started his bachelor party festivities. I had forgotten about it really, until my compony selected the place for a party when we exceeded sales goal. It was a fantastic time. I was impressed by the small changes they had made. The central bar is inviting and fun. Standing on the riser center of the place, a video game critic can enjoy himself with sports or other standard bar fun like pool, while others in his party can play games. The space here is a bit larger than other such places(like the one that was in Easton) so there is no bumping into people or standing around in a crowd like a dance club. Although it can get busy, we were lucky to have it late, and the giant midway to ourselves. The down fall is that the food isn’t totally awesome. It’s good enough for having a bite before game playing though. It’s like Applebee’s, in other words, good enough. The drinks are ok. The service was wonderful. Another down side is some of the games take skill and practice, which means you waste a couple points, tokens, ect just to get the hang of it. But that’s all to be expected. Like Chucky Cheese you can collect tickets and exchange them for prices. About 150,000 will get you a PS4. If you have none that, congrats, that’s a lot of nights at D&B! Of course they have other prizes. They can handle groups, so need a place to have a party that will make most happy, I’d suggest this if you are in the area.

This place is great for both kids and adults. Games for all ages, and some give away a LOT of tickets. Good beer selection, though I have never tried their food I hear it is good. All around ambiance screams HAVEFUN!

It was a Monday night and we were originally going to go to the arcade bar downtown but, as we were very hungry and didn’t particularly want to drink, we decided Dave and Buster’s might be a better alternative. We walked in and went up to the hostess. She looked at us as though it were bizarre that we were trying to speak to her. She eventually composed herself(sort of) and told us that we were free to seat ourselves in the game area, or we could sit in the dining room. We asked to be seated in the dining room, and she reluctantly lead us there. Once seated, we were checked on immediately, then about 3 minutes later. We said that we needed some more time to decide. Then, we didn’t get any service for about 25 minutes. There was one solitary other couple in the dining room(the HUGE dining room — one other couple!) and they had a waitress and a manager at their table — we watched them talk for about 20 minutes about who knows what, ignoring us completely. When we finally did get a waiter, everything was uphill from there. I have to say that, thankfully for Dave and Buster’s, the food was extremely good. My boyfriend got a philly cheese steak that was reallyyy good, and I got this mac and cheese that I was totally enamored with. I wouldn’t go back for the service(or lack thereof) but I would go back for the food. Before heading out to the game room, we went to the restroom. It was absolutely disgusting! Not super dirty, but reeked of sewage. I said something to my SO about it and he agreed completely; really gross. You shouldn’t have to hold your breath in a bathroom. The games were, of course, really fun. We were some of the only people there and we basically had the place to ourselves, which was super nice. We started out with 60 tokens each($ 12 a person) and ended up using them all in a couple of hours. The games typically range from 6.9 to 9.9, I’d say, making the tokens go pretty quickly. All of the games we wanted to play were fully functional; we only saw a couple we couldn’t play. We refilled once, then left. We ended up with about 500 tickets which got us a few laffy taffy’s and fun dip. From that viewpoint, it was a huge ripoff! But we had a ton of fun playing the games. In conclusion, the service was terrible, the restrooms were atrocious, and it’s a little overpriced. But the food was good, the games were super fun, and we had a great time. Not sure that I’d come back anytime soon, but maybe on a semi-special occasion(if we weren’t in any type of a rush).

We fled the humidity and ended up here. We sat at the bar and had drink and bite to eat. We stuck to the appetizers, ordering the pretzels dogs and edamame to share. The pretzel dogs were disappointing. Either the dogs were too greasy or the pretzel dough wasn’t baked enough I couldn’t be sure which was the culprit. As we ran off like toddlers to play with shiny toys, we ordered a couple of their snowcone adult beverages. They were neat but just all right. I think I’d stick with the«walk the plank» cocktail that the boyfriend ordered earlier, it was super good. But, really, do you come here for good cocktails and food? Nope! You come here for the games. D&B’s delivers on that score. This is a good place to waste a couple hours throwing balls and slapping touch screens trying to slice fruit. We had a blast and already planning our next trip, we even have a strategy to get more tickets.
