It was just okay. Had fish and chips. The chips were yummy but the fish was greasy and the cole slaw was awful(one bite was enough). Daughter had half rack ribs and she said they were good. Probably won’t be back.

The food was really good. Basic bar food and atmosphere. The whole place opens up so it would be nice to stop at for drinks in nicer weather. Nice drink selection.

This place is convenient for me but not really worth it. Have tried this location multiple times and have never had luck but this time might have been the worst. Sat at the bar at 8PM on a Friday, took 5 minutes to order drinks, 15 minutes before bartender came to ask for the order and then 45 minutes before the order even came out. Burgers were really good– props to kitchen staff! Food order was messed up and they took off a $ 5 glass of wine, guess better than nothing. Bartender Robert was extremely slow and totally out of it. I’d rather travel to the goat(next door) where service is great and food is delicious.

Nice area nice building but the staff knows nothing of friendly service. As for the food, very plan mediocre at best. While I’ve never worked at a bar/restaurant I know enough that if you have plan food your staff better be really friendly or attentive to make up for it. In this case everyone seemed as if they could care less about the customer.

Seated quickly, though completely ignored after that. Only 3 or so tables occupied in entire restaurant, yet not a server in sight. Finally left. Walked past multiple employees near front door on the way out without even being acknowledged. Will never return and will tell the rest of my coworkers in the office to avoid this location.

Rusty Bucket reminded me of a modern day Denny’s. I say modern because they have a full sports bar with drinks. Denny’s does not. Also the ambiance is nice and updated to a version that I have been used to seeing in Northern California. Denny’s tends to be well… it’s Denny’s. And for the food, it really wasn’t that bad. Though my Fish & Chips was a bit greasy, the coleslaw and fries made up for it. My buddies food were not bad either, not the best but our waitress made it all up in the end. She was fantastic. If you’re looking for a sports bar with decent meals while you watch the game and catch up with your buddies, give Rusty Bucket a try. It just might surprise you! PS — their bread pudding was fantastic! Until then, be kind to one another and Cheers! ~ :p

I went here with two friends before we went to Dave and busters. I got fried pickles for the table. They have pickle spear which you have to ask for, otherwise they’re pickle chips! I had a turkey burger with wheat bun as my entrée. It was all ok. They have a good beer selection though. I shall return… one day.

Love love… their chicken tenders, Spinach queso dip is delicious. I have also had their chicken parmesan. pretty good. The atmosphere is very quant. The fire place and the outdoor heated eating area makes it very cozy.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. It was one of the most memorable sandwiches I’ve had because it was so tender and juicy. The service was well and the atmosphere was cozy and clean. Our food came out in a respectable time and we had no issues.

I haven’t always been a fan of the Rusty Bucket chain… restaurants are made by the people and well, some are better than others. This location and its staff are pretty good though. Have visited multiple times, and I’m there mostly for the beers. 24 drafts, listed on a barely readable chalkboard off to the side(there’s a printed beer menu too), good spread between Ohio crafts and typical nationals; clean glassware every time. Beer prices are neither cheapest nor most expensive. Food is good. If I were to quibble about the food, the sauce on the chicken wings is about 98% butter and 2% hot stuff. Even the sriracha ones were underwhelming. But the rest is good. Typical American casual dining menu; I don’t recall ever having to wait long for food, and would call the prices average for a decent table-service restaurant. Location: Clean new building with some separation between bar area and table space, I think there is room for groups in the back; but this RB seems somewhat misplaced at the end of the Giant Eagle parking lot, corner of Britton Pkwy and Hilliard-Cemetery. To get there you have to go up Britton and thru the roundabout, then past Giant Eagle in the parking lot. Somebody thought this was a good idea; I see enough people there every time that this must not be a problem. Worth finding.

Bad food, this is the 5th time I’ve gotten bad food! Ordered a hamburger plain, came out with cheese scrapped off the bottom, that is unacceptable! Very, very disappointed! Will not go back! I do have to say the manager took care of our whole meal, my husband’s included.

Rusty Bucket is a standard«local tavern» style bar and grille. The food is standard bar fare and they have a decent selection of cocktails and beers. I like their various mules, but I wish they came in a copper cup. I’ve tried a chicken salad and chicken sandwich and both were a solid«OK.» This particular Rusty Bucket seems to be lacking in the service department. I’ve been here a couple times and it is always a little slow and unwelcome.

I was invited to dine at the Bucket with six other people for dinner. The food is your standard chain restaurant fare. Fish tacos, fish and chips, salads, sandwiches. I decided on a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was just OK, a bit thin. The dressing was bland for my taste. I enjoy garlic and anchovy flavor in Caesar dressing. Overall it was not the best salad I’ve had dining out. But the lettuce was fresh and green. I tried one of my dining companion’s fish and chips and thought the fish tasted wonderful and was fried just right. My husband felt his Ruben sandwich was«pretty good». Our server handled our table fabulously. Our glasses were never empty. She was very willing to provide samples of two of the beers I was interested in trying. This place is a safe bet for a big group and will cater to the majority of palettes.

My wife and I had been shopping at our local Lowe’s Hardware and decided to find a nearby restaurant for dinner. After consulting our handy Unilocal App, we found a Rusty Bucket location just up the street and headed out. We had visited this place once before, but only for drinks, which we remembered had been a pleasant experience, so we were happy to give the food a try. We were seated straight away in a smaller alcove type area and our drinks order was quickly placed. I chose to have an Anchor Steam draft and Theresa went for a lemonade. We soon noticed the table directly across from ours held a family of four, as their son grabbed our attention with his antics. He was loud, fidgety and seemed to really crave attention. There was also another young family of three seated about three tables away, who had a very small little girl,(maybe a year old?). She was quite interested in the commotion being caused and after a few minutes started squealing in that super high pitch scream, the kind that makes your eardrums vibrate. We believe she was squealing with joy but could not be sure. She did look to have a smile on her face though. Our waitress came back with our drink order and I almost asked her if we could have a new table, but noticed the family of four had finished their dinner, so we opted to stay put and went ahead and placed our order. My wife asked for the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and I requested the more traditional fish & chips. I then spent the next ten minutes trying very hard to use any Jedi powers I could muster to get that family to exit before any possible hearing loss had set in. Our food arrived and my fish and chips were good. The cole slaw was ok but there could have been a little more, as compared to the size of the fish, it was a tiny serving. I also had to ask for more tartar sauce. My wife’s fish tacos were not as good, but still edible. We requested some lemon slices to help make it better and they did. Soon after our food was served, the family across from us left and we did get to enjoy our meal in peace, except for the occasional squeal from the little girl across the way. We will most likely return to this restaurant but will do our best to sit in or near the bar area, as the chance for screaming or ill acting children should be lessened!

One of my favorite restaurants. I always get the double double nickel chicken salad. The vinaigrette is amazing. This is hands down my favorite salad. I high recommend it. I have also had the pesto pasta, Philly cheesesteak, and pizzas. Everything I have tried so far is very delicious. The service is always great. The first time me and my fiancée came to this restaurant the manager went through the menu with us and even came back after we finished our meals to ensure everything was excellent. Very impressed by the whole atmosphere.

I like Rusty Bucket but don’t quite love it. The service is always great and the bar knows how to make a great drink(vodka gimlet, dirty martini, etc). The food is typically good but perhaps a bit over priced for what you get. I recommend the pan roasted chicken or salmon dishes. I definitely would not recommend the fish tacos… They were about two cups of slaw and 2 ounces of mahi mahi.

Been here twice and both times the food was really disappointing. The Salmon salad was pretty much soaked in dressing, as if it were a soup with a piece of salmon sitting on top. The macaroni and cheese was really wet and soupy as well, not a thick sauce at all. The prices are too high for the poor quality of the food. I gave two stars instead of one, because both times we were there the server was really nice, but that’s not enough to make up for food you do not want to eat.

If rusty bucket was trying to make a good first impression, they certainly did! The interior is super spacious and very open and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered my salad, and I swear it came in two minutes, which is insane. The salad was fresh tasting and pretty filling. I think at $ 11.69 that it’s a little overpriced, but it’s still tasty. The beer selection is probably the best I’ve seen in Hilliard. So, this rusty bucket is a good place for west-siders to check out.
