Waited 15 minutes in a 3 car drive thru line, after 5 minutes at the window with NOACKNOWLEDGEMENT– we left and will not return. Just wanted a large black coffee! 20 minutes of my life gone– but will not be repeated.

I’ve been to New Grounds Coffee many times and have never been disappointed. It’s much less busy than other leading coffee competitors like Starbucks, and it tastes delicious! They have a wide variety of coffees, chocolate drinks, and tea-like beverages. Fast and friendly service every time I go!

I love this coffee place. I never sit inside but I know it’s pretty nice. I enjoy the cookie crunch frozen latte. My fiancé always gets the buckeye latte. I recommend this place to anyone that loves coffee. Once I discovered this place I stopped going anywhere else for my coffee!!!

I am an avid coffee drinker. This is by far my favorite coffee house. I love the frozen buckeye latte. It’s about a fifteen minute drive out of my way to come here but it is well worth it. I always tell my friends about this places in hopes they try it. I always compare other coffee house to New Grounds but none are as good. I always get good service from the staff as well. Keep up the good work!

Great coffee, better then Starbucks a little bit less in price. Pretty quick drive thru window, cute chicks and quick coffee.

Really friendly staff and yummy cappuccinos. Quiet with a little background music and seating makes it a perfect study spot.

The staff always seems stressed and sometimes they come off as rude. They serve Crimson Cup coffee and their selection of sugary drinks is pretty standard. It’s the only coffee shop in the area really so I’ll be back if only for that reason.

Staff is rude and dismissive. Heaven forbid you ask for something that is complex of them.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The girls always talk to us and they aren’t afraid to have a personality. The drinks are delicious! They use Crimson Cup coffee which is a local company in Ohio. They do not limit your Wi-Fi use. I hold tons of quick meetings for my Scentsy business here. It’s never loud– I never have to talk over anything. I will continue to send people to New Grounds!

I am a big coffee drinker. They are as good or better then most places I have been. They have some frozen drinks that are not to sweet. Their staff consists of some if the nicest people in the industry.

Way too pricey and not very friendly. I’d rather support a small place even if it’s for a higher price but I really don’t enjoy places where you don’t even get a «hi».

The coffee can be good depending on who makes it. In the morning you will be greeted by grumpy girls who seem bothered that you’re actually placing an order. In the afternoon you will be greeted by teenage girls who are more interested in socializing with their friends than making your drink. The last time I was in there I heard one of them say«ewe there was a bug in there» and another one told her to shut up. But the place gets a lot of traffic because it’s in a good location and it has the convenience of a drive through.

Love this place! Hardly noticeable and kind of hidden. A treasure in Hilliard. Never have I been to any other coffee shop that had so many different options! Unbelievable. Small but quaint and cozy. Tons of hot and cold coffees, teas, and other beverages including Italian ices in many flavors, hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate. They also have a great selection of muffins, bagels, and other treats to choose from. They have a drive thru window, that even has treats for your dogs when you go thru! Very friendly staff!

Cute little coffee place and I love that they have a drive-through. I had a coffee with milk and it was good. Also, they put a little sticker over the hole in the coffee so it doesn’t spill before you have a chance to drink it down a bit. Love that.

Right to the point… good coffee on the expensive side — service that is rather sterile and non-engaging. Better offerings elsewhere.

$ 3.65 for a watered down hot chocolate. It should have been delicious. I agree, no one is happy to take your $ 3.65. I’d be doing cartwheels for what t hey are serving.

I’ve only used the drive Thru about 5 times in the past couples months. Only one time did I leave feeling I received good customer service. Most of the staff seems to spend more looking me over or hassling me over the temperature I ask my drink to be made at. I have only experienced one nice staff member. Last Thursday was the third time in a row I couldn’t even get a staff member to be polite and smile. This is a customer service business. ALL staff(owners included) should make a customer want to come Back. I will now go out of my way and go back to Starbucks who have a professionally trained staff.

If a place has easy parking, lots of tea options, and reliable wifi, I’m likely to head back to it even if it is a little out of my way. New Grounds seems to win on all three criteria. And for those for whom it is on the way from one place to another, they have a drive-through window, as well, that seemed to be busier than the inside was. Inside, it seemed to be the place to grab your cup, sit down, and work or read alone for a little while; literally everyone who came into the business while I was sitting there did exactly this, and so did I. The person working there when I came in was polite and super-efficient, going from cup to bubbles to water to blender(I had ordered matcha bubble tea) like clockwork and chirping, «Enjoy your day!» to everyone when she was done. It became a tiny bit robotic, but in a good way. It probably sounds like an oxymoron, but one can be robotic in a good way! I just saw someone do it myself. They have specialty coffee drink specials each week. This week was called Thin Mint, while their Facebook page indicates that past specials included«Back to School Buzz»(chocolate, caramel espresso mocha), «Jaw-Dropping Mocha»(strawberry and white chocolate) for Shark Week, and«Toasted Almond Latte»(toasted almond and marshmallow). If I drank more coffee, I’d probably try them!

For about a month we didn’t have internet so we were spending a lot of time in this café. The guys that work at night here are really friendly and chatted it up with us all the time. The coffee is good, the couches are comfortable, and the staff makes you feel like you’re at home. This place is a keeper!

This was a first for me: Coffee shop and salon in one. It caught me by surprise, but hey! Who wouldn’t want coffee in a cozy atmosphere and grab a haircut too?! Sign me up! Take note: Haircuts were by appointment only. Now to the real review… This little strip mall gem is as local as they come. Family owned, with employee photos posted in one corner and local fliers lining a bookshelf in the the other, I felt like this little coffee shop was a replica of my living/dining room. Leather couch: Check. Dining room table with seating for four: Yep. Flat screen TV blaring CNN: You know it. Bright airy windows to let in the morning or afternoon sun: For sure! The cheery service even reminded me of my mom!(And yes, that’s a compliment.) Heck, the local high schoolers even stopped by to grab a cup of joe! On top of that, there’s a drive thru, free wifi and an assortment(albeit pretty small) of pastries. It’s a little on the pricey side, and my frozen chai tasted like a vanilla milkshake instead of a actual chai tea, but overall this place is a dream for chillin’ and getting some work done. I might make the trek to Hilliard more often just to visit this place again.
