It’s a chain but it’s not too bad. There is a pretty good vegetarian selection. I had a bagel with hummus, and split pea soup. The bagel was okay and the hummus was seasoned nicely. The soup was rich and not overly salty. I thought the service sucked though. Will come back if I can think of no better options.

So, it was fun that I got to point in waiting for my meal that I felt I had time to craft part of this review before I even received my meal. This was not a great Panera experience. For starters, the parking lot is cramped and insufficient for the lunch crowd. Secondly, when I walked into the store it smelled bad. Like BO. I can’t explain why that would be. And then the wait. It was crowded but not even difficult to find a table — it’s a big restaurant. But they obviously didn’t have he staff to accommodate the size of the crowd. Sitting down to eat, while plenty of tables were empty, it took some effort to find a table that was clean. There didn’t seem to be someone walking around and cleaning things up as I have seen at other Paneras. I went with the«Pick 2» special with a half of a turkey avocado BLT and a cup of the autumn squash soup. The half sandwich looked like a bit of a mess(kind of lopsided and falling apart) but it tasted good; soup was hot. My husband’s meal was good as well but it looked like they put the pickle spear he received through a food processor with a very dull blade. Kind of sad looking. Anyway, we were just passing through on the way back from Pennsylvania. I don’t think we’ll be stopping off at this particular Panera again.

Slow. Very slow. Always mess up the order. The people they hire have to be the most incompetent people they could possibly find.

Horrible Panera. Mother’s Day 10:00am out Of bagels and out of soufflé This location can’t ever seem to have enough of anything available. Managers are rude and the staff doesn’t care. Go somewhere else…

Hear ye hear ye! As thou highness, the illustrious Duke of the Fishinger Panera, the Knight par Excellent, the Slayer of the snow, and the Defender of fatty food I herby proclaim, as it is mine right as lord, this place as Optimus Muneris – the best service. As never does thine lords personhood but enters the premises that the good and godly wench and peasant alike don’t meet thy lord’s great need or comfort thy lord’s aching feet with the deference and adoration fitting thy lord’s position and bloodline. So take thine proclamation with great pride, and the reward of stars of four, as I less thee one as thine lord wants bread and not chip for side, as thee forgetith every odd wailing moon. With God’s grace, let mine will be done. (Though the thought doth cometh that mine tithes and tributes, goodly right of rank and station, have yet on this late hour to arrive. Me thinkith the need to raise an army and wage havoc on that contemptible villain King Unilocal who must plot to rob me of mine fruits of Dukedom! A festering boil on mine person I with not suffer sans lansing a fortnight more!) Ok that went on longer than I planned. It is true though that I dig the service here. The clerks and servers are friendless, personable, and are bubbly fun. They know my name and smile when I come. I come here often enough to be Duke because I work in the area and thus is the closets place that fits a quality food/speed/price criteria. I love their fresh cut sandwiches made from daily baked loafs. If you haven’t been to a Panera, they have good food in the causal fast food market. I usually get a café sandwich: ham or tuna. They also made great chocolate chip cookies it is impossible to say no too, and awesome fresh bagels. Their coffee too is great; thick and flavorful, it is café grade. The place is a chain, but it has better food than the process crap around it(which I eat too much of.) On the negative side it does get busy at noon which means a long line. They also have a habit of giving me chips when I said Ai wanted bread. But we will forgive them, as forgiveness is kingly. Yet most know Panera, and this is the same as any other except for the employees who I like. They do an excellent job. If I really were Duke they certainly have shown high quality personalities enough to be the first I would assign to slavery and servitude.

Great baked goods with an interesting variety. Breakfast sandwiches were quick and tasty. Coffee could be hotter but that’s just me.

I’m going to try and be nice, but I don’t think I can. So that turkey & cranberry flatbread sandwich and squash soup they have on every single commercial on TV is NOTHING like what they claim. Cranberry? Where? That DROP of red stuff?! Not cranberry sauce on any planet. That yummy looking sliced turkey? Nope. It was about the same as lunch meat and practically nonexistent. The soup? Impossibly SWEET. I can’t eat it it’s so sweet. They are consistently out of baked potato soup, which makes me think they don’t actually ever have any. I might stop by again for some other soup, but I won’t be ordering dinner from there ever again. I just got done eating and I’m still hungry and I eat like a friggin’ bird. That’s just ridiculous. WTF Panera?! Get on it or go away.

During my last trip I tried two new things(new to me, anyway): a bowl of their tomato basil soup and a pumpkin spice latte. Both were very good and very filling. I couldn’t really tell much of a difference between Starbucks and their PSL. Price was about the same as well. I have noticed every time I order a dine-in coffee I get a to-go cup. I dream of one day having a ceramic mug. Perhaps I should ask for one next time. There’s an idea… They have a large conference room in the back and quaint covered patio in the front. Hate their private parking lot. There’s one narrow entrance/exit that’s always causing confusion. Other than that I’m fine with this location.

I was very disappointed to witness the«healthy» steel cut oats heated in a plastic bag in the microwave! I will not return to Panera.

Food was cold including the soup. Luckily they showed me where the microwave was so I could heat it up myself. I had ordered 2 kids meals with Mac and Cheese which were cold. Ordered 2 Pick Two meals with soup which were also cold. It was $ 40 worth of cold food.

Typical Panera — a huge line at noon, lightening slightly by 1:15. Most chairs and tables are full, but the staff seemed good at the mechanics of ordering, fulfilling and cleaning/clearing. Well stocked tea accouterments and the butter was actually cold. It’s frequently warm at other Paneras.

I have visited many Paneras in my trips around the midwest, and this one stands out to me in a few different ways. First, the staff was quick, easy to work with, and surprised me by being the only Panera I’ve been to that actually brings the food to you at your table! Second, it’s a larger Panera store than many I’ve seen, but the atmosphere didn’t follow in the same growth aspect. It still felt like a comfy, coffee-house type atmosphere where I could do some work online and get my things in order before tackling the rest of my day. Finally, and the only downside, is that the parking lot was a bit oddly designed, but I can’t fault the store or the staff for that. I look forward to making a point of returning if I’m ever in the Columbus area again!

I was here for a meeting this evening, and the aspect that stood out the most was the service. When it comes to chains, that’s really what sets these places apart the most, anyway. To some extent different layouts, locations, and cleanliness can make a difference, but I’m not familiar enough with multiple Paneras to make that call. But I can say this one had good staff. I wasn’t hungry and only had tea, but others in the group ate. One member of our party had ordered soup, but after waiting for an unexpectedly long amount of time for it to arrive, she went and tracked it down. Not only did they pour her fresh soup but offered her something from the bakery on top of it, unrequested. They also helped look for tape for us to borrow(the sticking things together kind, not the audio/video recording kind). Sure, they didn’t find any, but they looked. And that counts for something. The tea was good, and the Community Room space was nice and comfortable.

A Panera is a Panera is a Panera, right? Right. So you get what you’re expecting when you come to this location. The bad news? This location has one of the worst parking lots I have ever been in. First, it’s awkward to find the entrance. Second, when you do, you have to fight with the people coming out of the parking lot to get in because the entrance/exit is extra tiny. Finally, the lot is pretty small. There isn’t too much in the way of parking spots, which is a problem since this Panera is always hopping. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of Panera in general, but the staff here is friendly and competent, so I’m more willing to try it. I think the staff is the only reason I’m willing to give the 3-star here. Otherwise, the brand and the parking situation alone would knock it on down to a 1 or 2.

I stopped here to grab some quick breakfast with a co-worker before we headed to a weekend work event. Caffeine was definitely in order. We ordered together which confused the cashier to no end and should have been the first sign that something was up. Our order was simple: two lattes, a bagel, and a breakfast sandwich. She was also confused when we asked for a receipt(our company was paying and we needed it for expense reports) and it took a manager coming over to re find the order to print the receipt. We get one latte which I hand to my co-worker, then we wait. And wait… and wait some more. No one is at the machine, no one seems to find anything amiss. I approach the counter and ask if anyone is making the second drink we ordered. «Uhhh…what? You only ordered one drink.» I show her the receipt she forgot to print us the first time, «No, we ordered two.» «Oh…» *runs to get her manager again* Following this drink debacle. My co-worker gets her bagel and we get our second beverage. I quietly await my delicious sin of melted cheese and egg on a sandwich. After watching four or so people that came in after us get their orders I again, approach the counter and ask, «Excuse me, but did you get an order in for an egg and cheese sandwich?» Turns out they did not. We finally broke out of there after a little over 20 minutes of confused waiting. I’ve been sitting on this review for awhile now. I tried to tell myself that maybe the cashier was new and had no clue what she was doing. But here’s the thing, it was not busy. If she was new(and lord I hope she was) then someone should have been with her to help her! I would have been much more understanding had it been busy but we were two of maybe ten people in the whole place. We tried to make it as easy as possible. They screwed up not once, but twice. A manager was even brought in and no apology was offered or explanation given. If employees still need training there should be someone there with them until they feel completely comfortable on their own. There is no worse feeling than being left afloat in a new job and it makes for freaked out and confused workers and annoyed customers. This incident happened in the summer and I still get mad every time I think about it. I expect better from you, Panera.

This is the most consistent Panera that I frequent. The coffee seems to always be ready and pretty fresh. The booths are nice to sit in with plugs right on the side. I haven’t had a bad bagel or pastry here. Too bad it is a farther drive than the one within ½ mile of my house.

I decided to lower my rating because this place is a rip off. I knew they were high priced but I didn’t realize how bad until I was the one paying the bill. I ate there a lot but my former boss always bought me breakfast. Today I went in there and paid ten dollars for a half a puny sandwich, a cookie, a shot of orange juice and a cup of coffee. The sandwich was good but it was half of a sandwich on very small bread for $ 4. Then the coffee was another $ 2. Think what you can get for that money anywhere else. I got my son some orange juice. Two dollars for probably 5 oz. I can get a half gallon for around that at the store or a full size cup for less at McDonalds(where I almost went and should have). The food is good but the portion sizes are so ridiculously small it’s insulting. And the prices are outrageous.
