Fancy That

Such an adorable locally owned store. The owner is awesome. They have a great selection of party goods and décor. They recently added a bake shop too. Stop by and see what they have to offer.

The rest of what they had looked very nice, but no noise-​makers or poppers carried in the store for New Year’s Eve? Weird.
I went to New Seasons a couple blocks away and they had both.

It is so thrilling that there is such a fabulous party supply store in Hillsboro!
Fancy That is a super fun shop, loaded from floor to ceiling with adorable decorations, items you never even knew you needed, but once you see them you have to have them, and even color coordinating candy. How fun!
The store is laid out well and clean; sections have been created to keep colors or theme decorations together. The variety of decorations offered is quite nice. There were ample party bags, tags, cups, napkins, plates, straws, hats, twine, thank you gifts for kids, balloons, paper pompoms and streamers. You name it. But this place didn’t just have decorations suitable for a child’s birthday, there was a small section for adult parties (G-​rated adult parties that is).
The staff greeted me upon entering and offered assistance right away. They weren’t too chatty which in a little store like this kinda feels weird, but that is just me… and I like to chat.
There is a tiny sale section at the very back of the store you might want to check out. I say that because this place is pricey. If you are not shopping last minute and have time to search the internet you can find many of the things sold here and may be able to find them for less and… if you can get free shipping you’ll save a bundle. However, for the sake of last minute shopping, supporting a local business or for those who like to see what they are buying in person this store rocks!
This place gets 4 stars because it is limited in what it offers. Size constraints prevents them from carrying a truly wide variety of things or colors. There was also very little in the way of theme oriented decorations… which again, they are limited because they really don’t have much space to display products. The final reason for the 4 stars is that their prices are a bit high.
I wish them the best. I will return for small purchases… but I will never buy all my supplies here for any party. I’d be broke afterward.

Great place with tons of color choices. They give great examples of cute ideas around the store. VERY hard to not spend a ton of money!
