Slow service with no one else in the restaurant portion of the place. The burgers we had for lunch were ok but pricey. Found nothing special worth going back for and tolerate the bad service.

A local bar that draws a lot of people from all over. They always have a solid DJ on on hand & Country Night is a HUGE hit. It’s not only a great nighttime hangout but also a great place to eat. If you’re looking for quality bar food/finger food this is the place to go. Their wings are phenomenal & they have plenty of different types of fries to choose from. The only drawback I have is if you are in the back seating area there is no tv to watch a sports game on. Other than that, it’s a great spot to be.

Solid wings, the rest of the food is slightly below or at average. Seems to be an enjoyable place for people in their 20s-30s to drink. The service is usually sub pair.

Let me start by saying the food is your typical bar food. Menu is plentiful and diverse. The problem with the restuarant is the management. We were a party of 8 and we’re seated in the«side room». During our meal, a group including 3 families with small children were seated in our room. The children were loud and started running throughout the room. When I asked the manager to please say something to the families, his response to me was«They are not my kids!» Unacceptable answer! We will not be back!

5 stars for their brunch! For less than $ 25 a person, you get an all you can eat buffet and unlimited mimosas. Brunch was standard: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, bagels, waffles, french toast, omelette station and my favorite, a chocolate fountain. They also had some meats(roast beef, ham and turkey?) that I didn’t bother with because I’m a breakfast whore plus chicken marsala and other lunch food items that I didn’t look twice at. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice. Cornerstone is quaint and beautiful and oddly enough, their nightlife doesn’t really reflect that. I’d give it 3 stars because every time I come here for their bar scene, it’s filled with a really rowdy crowd. The downstairs area becomes a dance floor and the upstairs is a hangout. The music is extremely loud everywhere and they play the typical top 40’s hits. It definitely appeals to the 21 – 24 age group who are trying to get black out drunk. Not my scene but definitely could be someone else’s scene. I’ll stick to their brunch because I’m old and boring.

So, this review is only for the Sunday brunch buffet. There are two things I enjoy: 1. A good deal 2. Champagne(or anything with champagne in it) Cornerstone knocked both of these out of the park. The food is plentiful and good. It’s not knock your socks off, but everything I had was tasty and flavorful. Really, you’re coming for the fact that you can get bottomless mimosas and bellinis all for the whopping price of $ 21.95. And did I mention they have a chocolate fountain? I didn’t want to look like too much of a pig in front of the group I was with, so I have a feeling I will need to go back with people that will imbibe in the chocolate fountain as much as I will. Added bonus: the place is huge so it didn’t feel like a huge cluster F.

We made a reservation for brunch. When we arrived we were taken to a table that was in a far corner right next to a large table with a baby shower. We asked for another table and the manager was not very helpful and told us we could sit at the bar. He was abrupt and curt in manner and did not care that we left. I am not going to go to this place ever again. Be warned, they are arrogant and don’t seem to care about customer service.

Never had such horrible bar food in my life. This place is only good for getting drinks and watching sports.

It seems as if this place doesn’t know what it wants to be. A family restaurant? A bar? A club? Came in on a Saturday night for the bar. Bar seats were completely full so we took one of the high top tables in the bar area and walked up to the bar to order drinks. I only had Guinness and it was good. My stand out memory is the gross bathrooms though. Broken doors with a gap large enough for a stranger to watch you urinate, toilet paper strewn about — gross.

Gosh it was a long while between visits to this place. It was called something else back in the day(New Orleans theme). Not it’s more of a sports bar with tons of TV’s and average food. If you catch it on a good night(Monday’s) you will be able to score some drink/food specials. Thursdays are country night. They have a DJ on Friday/Saturday nights would be the nights I avoid. I’m not a youngin anymore! We only had apps and they weren’t very memorable(wings, crazy fries, nachos). Their prices tend be a little on the higher side. Decent craft beer options.

This is awesome place for a bite or a drink. They have really hot bar tenders. On the weekends after 10pm it turns into a night club. You can park behind the place in the municipal lot. You see many young locals and probably a person you went to school with.

Not a huge fan of this place. I have never had a good meal here. Always way to greasy. Service is ok at the tables. Service is not so great at the bar unless you get one of two bartenders that actually care more about the customer than their social media account. If you are a 20-something, though, this is where you want to be on a weekend night if you are staying local!

Great food. Great staff. Great ambiance. Had mussels in garlic wine sauce and a spicy skirt steak. Was satisfied and will return. It may be a 4.6 but there is no way to give it such a rating.

Drumroll please … Because it’s my 200th review!!! This morning I had to switch around my Easter plans last minute. I heard that this place has great sunday brunches so I decided to give them a call hoping they had extra room. They were easily able to accommodate myself, two other adults and a baby at the time I requested. Once we walked in, we were immediately seated. The inside was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I got to take a quick look at the bar before sitting down and noticed they had a decent craft beer selection available on tap. The first thing they served us was coffee which was fresh and hot. With our brunch we were also given a choice of either a complimentary Mimosa or Bellini. The mimosa was great. I actually liked that they didn’t do short pours of champagne which many places tend to do. The buffet available was very nice. Tons of choices and the food was both delicious and fresh. Their penne alla vodka was bomb! It was extremely busy on the inside. The service was alright. However, I must point out that the servers were running around doing the best they could to make sure everyone had what they needed and to fulfill orders for drink requests. At the end I felt we were kinda being rushed because the check was dropped on our table without requesting it. I know they likely had to get ready for the next brunch but i was told we can dine until 3pm and the check was dropped forty minutes before three. They also could have stepped it up with their dessert spread, but on the bright side, they had a chocolate fountain! The check included price for brunch($ 25 per person) along with an 18% gratuity already added which was fine. Overall, we had a great experience. I was extremely happy they were able to take a table last minute on Easter Sunday. I could see myself going back for another brunch in the future!

I enjoy the cornerstone. Its local, i love the ambiance and décor. And the staff is friendly. The food is pretty consistent and ranges from average to above average depending on the day/night. I also wish they would have kept some of the items from the bourbon st menu but they have a good menu. The burgers and stesk sandwich are quite good and their salmon dishes are usually very good. I enjoy their mussel in white wine and garlic sauce and their french onion soup is pretty good too. Its a nice place to meet friends or have a family dinner.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant section. Almost like being in an outside bistro. The Mussels appetizer was amazing and served with garlic bread that was too good to not use a spoon to eat. Portions were generous and prepared quickly and well presented. Dessert menu seemed small and a bit disappointing but overall, I love this place. Helpful hint, park in the municipal lot behind it.

I’ve been to Cornerstone many times that I can remember… and few where I definitely blacked out halfway through the night(sorry if you were there, it was not cute). It’s one of the very few bars in the Westwood/Hillsdale area that caters to a younger crowd, has good(loud) music, and is open late. I’ve come here for food a few times — Mondays they have ALLDAYHAPPYHOUR, with cheap drinks and half price on select apps, which is pretty awesome. The apps were all standard bar food, but came out hot and were the perfect compliment to(too) many beers. I’ve also gone and sat in the actual dining area and not at the bar, and the service was usually pretty decent. Nothing stellar, but good overall. Their garden veggie pizza is BIG(I brought half home for lunch the next day) and only $ 10(so it’s economical, right?), and has a ton of fresh veggies/mushrooms/tomatoes on it(I realize mushrooms are vegetables, but the more specific the better, right?). This is usually the last stop for the night while out with friends — if you want a seat at the actual bar, get there on the earlier side(around 9ish), because things really get going at 10⁄11. There are also late night drink specials, and the drinks are never weak at all… hence the blacking out. Warning — you’ll probably run into someone you went to high school with and a crowd of just turned 21 year-olds, but with few options for late night and music, Cornerstone is a pretty solid bet.
