Owner/​salesperson is very personable but was not around when the work was being done. He sets up the job then leaves after 20 min and does not come back. He estimated our job to take one day And it actually took 3. The guys were rushing to get done at 6:00pm on the 3^rd day, with barely enough time to even show us how to use it because they didn’t want to come back another day. The next morning, I noticed our pavers (new front walk) had a long gap where the pavers split and one side caved in that was not there before they started the job. Owner came to look and denied having anything to do with the disturbance despite the head sticking up 1 inch from the crack and dirt not put back properly all around the area. The owner said «someone else must have done it» and then changed it to «they didn’t dig there» though he was not there when they were working and the only people working on the area was his crew. We paid them before we noticed the crack it so we have no recourse.
He originally said they would dig channels in a line so we could just leave the line of dirt but they left large circles/​holes of dirt behind all over and a good portion of our lawn needs to be fixed. Their machine ripped up tracks and basically, they left a mess ie. Not putting plant a back that looks like they trampled over it and left big divots where soil used to be but they didn’t put it back the same way so now our mulch bed and yard dips down in certain spots, namely where our walk cracked.

After dealing with many unreliable sprinkler companies, Automatic Lawn Sprinkler is a breathe of fresh air in the service world. I use them for spring turn on/​winter turn offs and any repairs. The mechanics are knowledgable and reliable, and customer service is outstanding (the woman in the office is extremely helpful, super friendly). Prices are reasonable. Will continue to use as long as I have sprinklers…

I’ve used this company twice now to service my sprinkler system. Once for a fall shut off and another time to replace some broken sprinkler heads. Both times, the service was quick, prompt, and reliable. The prices were reasonable.
Would definitely use them again. Their invoices lists locations in Hillside, NJ, Morristown, NJ, Little Falls, NJ, and Lebanon, NJ.
