The ladies are very friendly and always happy to try and fit in a walk in. But beware there are friends that are walk ins that will get ahead of you if you don’t have an appointment. There is a nice couple of benches for waiting and some magazines to read.

The customer service in this salon is unprofessional at best. I called in the morning for an appointment later that same day and the receptionist asked me if I had a particular stylist in mind. I said that it didn’t matter, I just wanted to get both my boys haircuts in time for the holidays. She said they didn’t have any appointments available but that I could come in as a walk-​in. I told her okay and that I would be in with the boys at 2pm. She acknowledged me and hung up. Later that day, on my way in to the salon, I called to let them know we were on the way in. The lady that answered the phone said that they were all booked for the day and I couldn’t bring the boys in for a walk in. I preceded to explain to her what I was I told earlier that morning, as our entire afternoon had been planned out. She put me on hold and when she returned she said that someone could squeeze us in in an hour. My children have sports practices, hence the 2p inquiry. When I told her the later time wasn’t going to work she pretty much said too bad! There were no apologizes for the miss information or any effort made on their part to keep to what was said! If I was on the wait list or at least told verbally that 2p was okay, why wasn’t that honored?! Yes this salon is small town and boasts $ 10 haircuts and that’s the immediate draw I admit, but I would honestly pay $ 20 somewhere else to get better customer service! I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t go here again! The haircuts aren’t even worth it!

As people living in a modern world, I think we all know how hard it is to find a place where you can get a good haircut. Or at least one that doesn’t make you look like a fool!
Lucky for me, I was able to find a great place pretty early on. I mean, I’ve definitely had some haircuts that were questionable in my day, but they were always due to my own questionable judgement.
Jagged Edge has a very friendly environment. There’s nice and cool air conditioning and exuberant hair dressers. Never will you encounter one of those dreaded awkward silences that you might get in some places.
The price (as a guy) is pretty amazing, too. For $ 10 a haircut, you really can’t beat it. Not to mention the fact that a haircut will usually only take you about 15 minutes, give or take.
When it really comes down to it, you know that you can get a great haircut for a good price at Jagged Edge. So, if you’re having trouble finding a place to get a decent haircut, look no further! Jagged Edge has you covered.

They gossip about customers leaving. So I can only imagine what is said after we left.
Never Again

I’ve been getting my haircut from Glorie for years now. There’s only 3 employees at this place so appointments are highly recommended because slots get filled real fast real quick. You could do a walk-​in but 9 out of 10 times, you’ll either wait a while or get turned away. That’s just how it is.
They only take cash here. So make sure to have those greenbacks ready. Don’t know how the other services are like since I only get a haircut so 4 stars.

The bottom line to this salon is the cheap prices for haircuts. Went there on a Wednesday morning, and I was told there’d be a long wait. I said, I don’t mind waiting (not like I had anything planned for the rest of the day). Told me to come back around 11:30 am and so did I.
Got there on time, there was a little wait as the lady who was supposed to take me was still with her client. Sat on the chair and explained how I have my hair, 2.5 blades and scissor cut on the top. Told her that I usually get a haircut every two weeks. Yeah, she obvs judged me. LOL.
It was quick, efficient but I didn’t get the shave/​trim that I usually get from my usual barber. Oh well.

I was a walk-​in and I got a cut in 15 minutes! The stylist was efficient and did my hair how I asked. No complaints here, the best part? $ 10 (plus tip) for a cut! Half an hour total for walking in and under $ 20! This beats the other places that I have visited…

NO STARS FOR THIS DUMP! (But for some reason Unilocal makes me pick at least one star) Walked into my 2 year old daugthers appointment LITERALLY 2 mins late (and we were in the parking lot on time) and we were turned away! W Lorna saying she already took another person in our place!!! WTF? REALLY? My daugthers hair is MAYBE 5 inches long and would have taken them 5 mins to cut but she gave our appointment away while we were still in the parking lot!!! She hadn’t even started on the guy in the chair!!! Is that how u do business??? Is that how u retain customers?!! I DONT THINK SO! NEVER TAKING ONE OF MY 4 KIDS THEIR AGAIN OR ANY OF MY MANY MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS! I always remembered this one lady who cut my hair when I was young and I found her again! Best ladies, best cut, & best price!

You booked me in your first slot for the day which worked out awesome for my tight schedule! You’ve been there taking care of me for the past three years, I promise I won’t try any other joint again!
