I understand a busy day and everyone walking in for something cold to drink… but what is the point of asking for a customer’s name if they can bit even say the name loud enough for customers to hear… I mean it doesn’t help it either when customers who are kids are not paying attention and just grab… waiting in line like everyone else for what reason? There needs to be a better system in order to address the busy times especially on humid days as today! Guess I would have been better off at Jamba Juice!

Terrible experience. They can’t make tea, nothing even close to a bad tea and they forgot half of my order. My job is to choose and pay, not to go double check and triple check if they are warming my bagel or not. They reimbursed me after I complained which will not make me forget they suck at doing their job.

Like all Starbucks it can be crazy busy but the employees are friendly and know their jobs.

There are two true signs of civilization: 1) A free Wi-Fi connection 2) Coffee which comes in four sizes Thank you Starbucks for being here to greet me during my trip to Hilo. And thank you HIlo for having this corporate giant Don’t get me wrong, I love the laid back, small town feel of beautiful Hilo town, but this modern working gal needs her red-eye in the morning. If you’ve never had a red-eye, it’s iced coffee made with shots of espresso. Addiction? Yes. I’ve got three kids, how else do you think I get everything done and still manage to have a smile on my face? Strong coffee in the day time. Wine in the evening. That’s the magic formula and I suggest you pass it on to your Mommy friends so no one will drive a car into the river. Small Starbucks, no drive thru, consistent service and a nice venti sized iced red-eye to keep me happy throughout the day. Happy Mommy! P. S. I’m a sucker for a FTR(First To Review)…
