Had the Sunday buffet breakfast and everything was delicious! Fresh made omelettes, fluffy pancakes and biscuits like my grandmothers, the chicken voodoo pasta… words fail me. it’s just so good. Shrimp & grits, gumbo, red beans, fried green tomato quiche, bacon, sausage… The bananas foster bread pudding and beignets, ugh just go. Quickly. Do yourself a favor, you lucky person. I’m back home now so I can’t. But I’ll be back!

Love this place! Eat here at least once every time I come to the island. Love the fried crawfish and the voodoo pasta is out of this world. Highly recommend for something a little different.

I can’t get enough of their beignets. Definitely better than Café Du Monde I will most probably drive to HHI in the near future just for the beignets!

This place is Cajun crack. Once you start eating here, especially breakfast, you can’t stop coming back. Creole specialties like Eggs Nawlins and Breaux Bridge add a bit of spice, although not quite Cajun hot. The gumbo will rock your world; plenty of shrimp and sea parts. Beignets are great. Deserts will add on the pounds, but that won’t bother you. Friendly owners, family style gi-normous portions. And the Sunday all you can eat brunch will give you every Cajun specialty on the menu.

Funky and unusual décor, which makes it a place to see. Food was good with a nice New Orleans flare.

This is one of my favorite local places to go for Cajun food. It’s small, doesn’t take reservations, but the the food is great. I like the gumbo but the spicy shrimp n grits rank up there too. The kids meals are served in a dog bowl. My nephew was shocked and a little concerned when they did this but was content to find out that they just like dogs, Georgia Bulldogs to me specific ;-)

We loved this spot! We went for breakfast one morning while on vacation and found it to be delicious and fun. We will definitely return. The beignets were on point, and the chicory coffee transported me right back to New Orleans. I had the eggs sardou, and it was the perfect way to start the day. The service was excellent. I would love to return for lunch or dinner and try the po’boys and she crab soup. Next time!

Great place for dinner. I had the she crab soup, alligator bites, shrimp etouffe. She crab was thick and creamy with plenty of crab. Alligator bites were tasty and battered nicely. Shrimp etouffe was the best I’ve ever had. My friends had the Taste of Bayou, crawfish boil, jambalaya, blackened scallops, gumbo, crawfish bisque. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned Nola style. If tonight was not my last night, I would be back.

As good as all the Cajun food is the fried oysters and fried shrimp is the best I have had on Hilton Head. You actually can have Red beans and rice and jambalaya as sides if you need some Cajun. Sunday brunch is also outstanding. Lots of normal brunch stuff plus Cajun items. Do not miss the beignets.

Fantastic food that’s very hard to match unless you’re actually in «N’awlins». It’s nothing fancy here at Kenny B’s. You order at the counter, seat yourself and they’ll bring it out. Expect to wait the same amount of time as you would at a full-service enterprise. They make it all fresh so it takes some time. I had the crawfish etoufee, jambalaya, and the beignets. Etoufee was fantastic. The roux has plenty of flavor. My usual beef with this dish is they lack enough crawfish to give me consistent craw dads in each bite, but not here. They give you plenty. The bread served is atypical — some sort of multigrain variety, but delicious nonetheless. The jambalaya was good. Andouille could’ve been cut thicker, but still very good. Rice had a great consistency, not too mushy. Plenty of flavor in every bite. Beignets — I had to make sure they weren’t frozen. They’re actually made to order fresh. Served on a cast iron skillet, with plenty of powdered sugar. These babies were on point — SO delicious! Crispy, spongy, sweet, everything you’d want is in kenny’s b’s. Lastly, the wait staff — super friendly! This is a family owned joint and we had the owner’s son serving our food. Such a gentleman and clearly proud of his family’s establishment. From now on, I’ll be dining here every time that I visit Hilton head. 5 stars without a doubt!

Fun place for breakfast. We pedaled to Kenny B’s and enjoyed a hearty breakfast in a great environment. Laverne greeted us and took great care of us, there is an easy atmosphere at this place, with SEC football and sporting photos and graphics posted all over the place. There is obviously no love lost for Florida Gators. The food was pretty good, we enjoyed an omelette and some pancakes along with corned beef hash. Many of the locals frequent this place as well as some tourists.

It’s good here. Gator bites are the way to start. Jambalaya is the perfect accent piece to the clam strip tacos. The buffalo chicken po boy might be too hot(seen it happen). Blackened scallop po boy is the way to go. Clam strip dinner is very good. Sweet potato fries are SWEET. End it all with the chocolate pecan pie.

One of the best overall places I have eaten. Last year(2014) we ate here 2 or 3 times; grabbing crawfish, shrimp, scallops and whatever else they had going on at the time. The Poboys sandwiches are awesome — crispy, french bread w/a remoulade sauce that is outrageous. Fried Green Tomato Salad was very good and blackened scallops was a little messy(like most tacos) but delicious! If you are able to order a side of their homemade grits I highly suggest — creamiest, melt in your mouth grits I have ever had. One of the«must stop» restaurants on the island — enjoy!

Great breakfast options at a reasonable price, the restaurant is decorated in true NoLA fashion with beads, Saints décor and murals everywhere. You can’t help but to be cheery when eating there, especially with the heartfelt and genuine service. If you’ve never had beignets before, get there here for breakfast with a café au lait. Portions are enormous so be warned. Definitely one of the better bfast joints in HHI.

Two days in a row Sept 4th, 5th2015 we filled our bellies with the best lunch/dinner in hilton head. Inside of Kenny B’s the colors will brighten up your visit here on hilton head island where all the colors are either Tan, grey, or mossy green(The colors of camouflage!!) The colors and the mural on the wall are very busy and really something to see. It kept us looking over it, never bored while we waited on our food. During our visits it was a few people there with about 6 out of the maybe 12 tables occupied by customers eating up the most delicious cajun cusine, the FLAVOR in everything we ordered was OUTSTANDING! The french bread so moist, cornbread square sweet and delicious, it comes with your entrée. Sept 6th, We are now in Savannah surrounded by MANY fabulous restaurants but my husband took the words out of my mouth, we both wish we had kenny b’s next to our hotel because we know for sure we would have a great meal!

Best prices and best food on the island! The space is small and be sure to come early for dinner, lines go out the door. They have a Sunday buffet that is terrific but wait until around 11:00. People line up about an hour before they open and its standing room only from that point.

Everything here is delicious. Don’t come at typical lunch or dinner times. The restaurant is small. There is outside seating but if it is summer prepare to sweat! Prices are very very reasonable — especially for Hilton Head. Get a basket of 3 items for 15.95. Enjoy seafood and Cajun choices. DELICIOUS!!!

Great place to coke after the beach! Very casual and no frills. Just the way I like it. The staff is very nice and our food was put quick. This could be Bc we came later. A local couple we spoke to said there is usually a line out the door during peak times! The husband and I both had the shrimp creole. My first time and I was not let down. The dish was amazing. The bread it Coles with was also so good! I don’t know if they make it there or just purchase it from some place really good! We then had the beignet for dessert. Wow. So delicious! A must visit if you’re on the island!
