I have been racially discriminated by 2 employees of this store because of my accent. It happened at the electronics department. Very bad experience.

I still get passionately angry when I think of this place and my experience here. Back in beach season, a friend of mine came in here with two of our friends and 2 children. We ran in to get a bathing suit for one of the children, and some snacks. My friend and I(I honestly hate to bring this up, but it needs to be for further elaboration), are two white females, and the other two friends were black females, as well were the children. We all had bathing suits on with various forms of covers. I had on shorts, my friend had on my tank top, one of our friends had a shirt on, and the other a dress. The children were fully clothed. The moment we walked in a woman came up to us, no name tag or anything(maybe AP security but I don’t think so, I think just a customer) and told my friend and I(the other white female) that we needed to leave because we weren’t allowed in, because we weren’t fully dressed, then proceeded to point at our black friends and say they looked fine(even though the one girl was just in a shirt, just like my friend). Uncomfortable and very embarrassed, we started to leave, as we hear the woman screaming for security, causing the whole front of the store to stare at us. All of us were mortified, especially my white friend and I. We never lodged a complaint because we are too busy for that, this was back in July but I’m just finally writing this review. Don’t go here from the beach, or you’ll be embarrassed, especially if you’re WHITE!

Ugh, Such a horrendous experience! There was an incredibly foul odor upon entering and exiting this store. The checkout process was incredibly erratic with far too few cashiers to serve all who were attempting to checkout. Every self checkout was flashing red needing the assistance of the one overworked cashier. I have never been to such an incredibly poorly operated/managed Walmart. This was a deplorable experience. People were becoming so irritated and frustrated with the checkout process they left their items and walked out. We waited as we were in need of the items. It was an incredible wait time and by the time we reached the cashier she was irritated too and not friendly to us at all and heavily dropped everything into the sack as though she was angry at our presence. When visiting this area, we will NEVER stop here again.

Walmart decided to do business with Coral resorts. I was sold on taking a timeshare tour in exchange for a vacation voucher from Coral Resorts. I was told they wouldn’t honor my voucher. TRIPS was the company that I had to go through but they’re a scam. I contacted Kim at Coral Resorts a week ago but no response yet. I thought Coral Resorts would make this right by now. Now if Walmart, where my family and do all our shopping, allows companies with no integrity to have timeshare booths in front of their business than I need to start shopping at Target. Please look into this company and how they’re bringing disrespect to your company. Trips incentive doesn’t even care that it’s giving Coral Resorts a bad name. I received a voucher for a trip and was told I could use it in Hilton Head. Coral Resorts Hilton Head is the company that provided me with this scam gift to trick me into going on a time share tour. TRIPs said that they have zero rentals in Hilton head or Charleston but I found a ton of them online for rent. The company says on their voucher that they have timeshares in Charleston and that booking your timeshare three months in advance improves your chances of getting Hilton head. I set my voucher 90 days in advance almost to the day. If your ever on vacation and you see a timeshare booth, avoid it. I’m going to call the time share property that I went on the tour and voice my frustration. I’m posting my frustrations on Facebook and Twitter. I. I hope TRIPS/Coral makes this right. I have no problem paying more than the $ 266 I already paid trips for taxes and cleaning fee for two people. Just give me options for Hilton Head. I’ve been here a number of times while staying on Hilton Head. Always for specific items. Each time they have had what I was looking for and I was able to find easily. 2 stars because I went in very early one morning to pick up 20 bottles poweraid type stuff. 20 bottles. early in the day. They did not have a register open, self checkout only. That alone was bad. but then, when I asked the employee to do a quick check out for the 20, as in scan one and multiply by 20 she said each had to be scanned separately. And then she stood over me like she thought I might miss one or something. So 2 stars for being generally unhelpful and unpleasant. OK parking.
