I’m giving this place a one. If I could give it a zero I would. Three times horrible. First time we had a horrible experience gave it a break and said bad night there. Second time the silver ware was dirty. Food still on it. Glasses had lipstick. The service was terrible. The food was terrible. Spoke to the manager. She was apologetic but offered nothing. Went last night because it was convenient for a place to take kids. Thinking it can’t be bad 3 times in a row. Wrong… It was beyond bad. Ordered the chicken and spinach over pasta. The 7 year old had spaghetti and meatballs. Waited a long time for the waitress. Someone came with soaking wet bread plates. Waitress disappeared after serving drinks. Had to go find her several times during the dinner. Horrible service. My dish came swimming in a watery broth. The pasta was so overcooked it fell off the fork before I could get it into my mouth. Complete mush. The chicken had grizzle in it. Again no waitress to see how the food was. I didn’t eat it. Had to ask another waitress to find our server so we could get our check. Never asked me why I didn’t like the dinner. My niece didn’t eat hers because it was dry and the sauce was very sparse and the pasta was all stuck together, The meatball was burned on the outside and needed a steak knife to get through it. All in all this place cannot be any worse. I will never go back. Horrible service, horrible entrees, dirty dishes and utensils.

The waitress was very nice, we got our drinks and food very quickly. I got a Caesar salad, which has delicious dressing, and the Delicato Italian sandwich. It was awesome! The rolls were great as usual. Very happy with everything.

We have always gone to this location frequently but the last few times haven’t been that good. Today our food was burnt. Waitress forgot my sons soup. And she had so much perfume on that it was over bearing. Completely stuffed up till I got out side. My 14 yr old son spent his hard earned money on bringing me to lunch and neither of us cared for it. It was bland and burnt.

Would love to give Bertucci’s 5 stars as it’s always been our favorite family restaurant with consistently great quality for 20+ years. Unfortunately, the quality of the food at this location has been going downhill over the past 1 – 2 years, and you can tell by the amount of cars in the parking lot on a Friday or Saturday night. Problems include significantly overcooked pasta, mushy broccoli, wrong substitutions plated, overcooked steak, etc. Instead of leaving happy and satisfied, we’ve been leaving disappointed that it wasn’t as good as it used to be. Please, please, please correct the problems here. We miss having Bertucci’s as our favorite go to place!

Food is good. Staff sucks. One guy was so rude I didn’t even want to tip him. Another time friends and I who got out of work at 8:30 decided to get dinner. We arrived at the restaurant and called ahead to make sure it’d be okay to get there at 9. The entire time the waitress kept rushing us saying that they closed at 9:30. Won’t be returning.

Had a gift card, pleasantly surprised, had a great 3 course meal, salad, chicken piccata and a desert. Great bang for your buck. Service was great. They have an 8 ounce pour option for wine !!

Always love you the bertuccis brand… food always fresh and delicious… Hingham was no exception… food perfect. Great piccata and fantastic sporkie pizza. but that is not why im Unilocaling today. We were in on weds night before xmas eve and the place was crazy busy. Expected to be rolled in and rolled out with service and food not being the norm. But to our pleasent surprise it was not the case. Management and staff all seemed to be on the same page and things went very well. nice going folks!

Ordered shrimp scampi takeout — tiny flavorless shrimp — angel hair pasta stuck in clumps — minimal sauce for $ 17.00 — very disappointed —

Usually a good restaurant, but not tonight. Seated right away, but waited 10 minutes before anyone even talked to us. When the waitress did speak to us, it was I will be right back. We ordered as soon as she reappeared. The garlic knots looked great on the menu so I ordered that as an appetizer and the waitress even asked if we wanted it before our meal. The waitress brought our drink order right away and said the knots were put in. Later she comes back and says they will be another 5 minutes. Later again the manager comes and asked if we ordered an appetizer pizza and I said that we ordered garlic knots and he sped away with our drinks empty. The manager comes back later with our entrees and garlic knots at the same time and says that he can put our entrees back if we want. The garlic knots looked nothing like the picture on the menu. They were just cut up bread sizzling in oil with some cheese on top, nothing knots about it. The entrees were good, especially the chicken picatta. The make your own pasta was alright, alfredo sauce was a bit thin and not so creamy. The free rolls were good with the dippy sauce. We finally told the waitress we were unhappy with the garlic knots after we ate two or three bites and she told us she would speak with the manager. Finally after 10 minutes she said the manager would take off the knots. No apology or anything from the waitress or manager. Just poor service from everyone, especially the manager. Usually a good restaurant after a few times eating here, but just not that nite.

Hit or miss, more of a miss than hit lately. Gets the order wrong, then again, and then again for the third time. We went back and this time they had meat in our pizza after telling them that we can’t have meat. Brought back order, again it had meat!!! When we wanted our money back they said to call the district manager. Really??? For pizza? OK. We did and they never returned our calls. We’ll try another location until this one gets their acts together.

We quite often find ourselves at a Bertucci’s when in Massachusetts. It’s become that reliable place to go when the hunger strikes, there’s not a lot of time, and we are both too tired to think. We landed at Logan airport and after grabbing our luggage and rental car we had a late night drive ahead of us to Cape Cod in the rain. We were both hungry after our day of crappy airport food so we quickly pulled into Bertucci’s when we spotted it. It was 10:20, they close at 10:30. I ran in and asked if we could get a pizza to go before they closed. Of course! Thank you God! I ordered the Large Ultimate Bertucci($ 20) each quarter has its own different topping, which is perfect for both of us. We were out of there by 10:30 and had to eat a slice in the parking lot like savages before we hit the road. So good. Of course we’ll be back.

This is the second time in two months we went and were disappointed. This time I had lasagna and it was so stuck to the baking dish, I needed the end of my knife to loosen it. I had to ask for two of those thimblefulls of extra sauce just to enjoy it. My husband and son had fettuccine with chicken(a few slices of that Tyson bagged cooked strips mixed in), and it was bland, dryish, and not at all creamy. Rolls and oil are the highlight. The worse thing is so many cooks and food prep people scratch, tug, pull at their hair. Last time here for sure. Lauren was our server and she is very good though.

Recently went to Hingham Bertuccis with my husband and 3 grandchildren. server was friendly, but not a good waitress. Waited for drinks, ordered very explicitly. Pasta with butter and sauce on side,(penne). 1 received spaghetti which was cold, the other penne and also cold. Waited for sauce. The other was raviolis which were also cold, not even warm. I ordered wings. no blue cheese dressing(they explained they were looking for container to put it in) I swear… my husband, sporkie which he said was good. I also had farmhouse salad, took one bite. salad sour. Returned they took off the bill. Finally 20 mins later out came dressing in a little white cup… ate my two pieces of celery. worst meal ever at bertuccis. Wrote to sales VP. never acknowledged. bill 63.54 and a 12.00 tip. Never again…

I got the Ultimate Bertucci pizza. There’s four different toppings on the pizza. I liked the chicken and the meatball toppings the best.

I always like the occasional visit to Bertucci’s for pizza and pasta because sometimes simple and predictable is good. I just want to reflect on how well they handled a problem tonight. My boyfriend ordered fettuccine Alfredo. A few minutes later the manager came over to tell us they were sold out, immediately came up with substitutions and a menu to choose something different if need be. In the mean time, my pizza is ready. They comped my pizza, said that we could have that as an appetizer and they would make me another pizza to come out when the other entrée was ready, even if it just needs to be packaged to be brought home. Thoroughly please with the solution to the problem. Very friendly and customer oriented. Good job manager!

I generally do not prefer chains but the service in this location is outstanding. The servers remember folks who have come in. Its was just the second time we came there after a month and knew exactly what we had ordered and recommended ordering based on our tastes. Food — The bruschetta is great and has the right dash of balsamic. One of the recommendations was the cod fish and its a must try. Service — Cheerful and super attentive folks. Do not function like anchain amd give a personalized touch. Cost — $ 20 per pax.

We came Sunday at dinner time. Be forewarned it was full of kids of all ages. My blue cheese and squash pizza was delicious.

The atmosphere and staff are nice and the pizza are good. I’ve had better and fresher are Easy Pie in Braintree which has more originality. I ordered their new Squash and Blue Cheese pizza. When it arrived I was disappointed that the amount of toppings was sparse, over half of the pizza was bare. The flavors were OK but nothing special. I took their survey to post my comments and get a $ 5 coupon. To my dismay, they’re still in the 1980s, requiring people to print out the coupon. They need to get with the times and have digital versions that they can display and use from their smart phones; perhaps invest in an app.

I usually opt on the healthier side when choosing meals. When I do commit the act of «carb-icide»(overdose of carbs) I like it to be worth it. I ordered the calzone and it was just sub par. The bread was very doughy with no flavor. My boyfriend got the sporkie pizza and enjoyed it much more. The carry-out system was great, but we would have liked utensils and none were provided or offered.

I am beginning to think all Bertucci’s are alike. I used to love coming here(Bertucci’s) because it was very much a family atmosphere and service was not so bad. In the last few months, service has been terrible. Food is still pretty much the same, unless they forget your order and it’s been just sitting under a heat lamp. We came here after bowling the day after Christmas. We ordered 3 individual pizzas and a large Ham, Chicken and Cheese pizza. The pizza was hot and tasted good. It would have been better if they left it in there for another 30 seconds so the crust came be a little more crispy. We also ordered a large salad to share, which was as usual. Service on the other hand was extremely terrible. We waited forever for the drinks to come. When we asked for extra rolls which we love, that took forever too. There were six of us and there were only 6 rolls. you can only imagine how quick that went. When she finally brought the rolls over, she didn’t bring oils. Finally our food came but there were no plates to put them in. Nor were there extra napkins. A busser happen to be by so she went and got us all the things we needed. Our glasses were empty for at least 10 minutes before they were refilled. She never removed any of the empty dishes so our table was piled up. If i could just say how bad it was… it was bad. Food was ok. Had the potential for 3 or 4 stars if service was better. Oh… and i forgot to mention, we called to make a reservation or at least tried to get a time frame if they were busy or not. We were repeated told over the phone they were not busy and there was no line. When we got there, which was only a matter of minutes, there were a long line and was told at least a 20 to 30 minute wait.
