I’ve been here twice, had two different servers, and both were outstanding. The service is definitely a 5. There is not a bar area, which is a knock on the place but overall, a cute ambiance of traditional pizza pub style with a twist of some modern art. The artist is the sister of someone who works there and I enjoy her take on Italian and dining scenes. They bring out warm, crusty bread with butter and oil and cheese but they also have this house made garlic spread that might as well be called crack. They also have a decent wine selection, albeit, not large but some known options. On Mondays and Tuesdays they have half priced bottles that they will bag if unfinished. Their pizza is very good. The crust is thin and crispy. The sauce is savory and not too much. And their ingredients are fresh, plentiful and cut into large enough pieces to taste but not too large that they are bulky. I’m a fan!

Awesome pizza and other Italian goodies. This little place has seen many restaurants and coffee shops come and go over the years but with Giuliano’s they have a definite winner! Their thin crust is yummy, fresh toppings, great quality cheese and the crust is perfect! The place itself is super cute. It’s Hinsdale so fight all the other Range Rover driving moms for a parking spot and go in to enjoy great Italian food and cocktail or two!

My favorite restaurant in Hinsdale! It’s got a good home feel and the service is always friendly. Kids love eating here as well!

I absolutely LOVE the bruschetta as well as the chopped salad. However, the pizza wasn’t our favorite. I think it was really just a personal preference though, noting really wrong with it. The thin crust is extremely thin, if you like that it’s for you! Overall pleasant experience with friendly staff. Just not my Chicago pizza pick, however maybe for Hinsdale!

This little gem is conveniently right next to my job so of course, as you do, I have spent many a lunch break noshing on Giuliano’s. I don’t really know what’s taken me so long to write a review but as luck would have it tonight is the night! I got 2 chopped salads(sans bacon, no pork on the fork thank you) and never has money been better spent on a salad. It’s a monster salad and every ingredient is a perfect compliment to the next. THEDRESSINGTHO! I can’t say enough! Best salad ever. Also make sure to try the chicken tenders, toasted ravioli, ANY of their amazing pastas… I’m pretty well versed in their menu. The eggplant parm is top knotch. Their grilled chicken sandwich too. Pretty much all of it. Yeah. All of it is delicious. Thanks for pretty much killin the scene Giuliano’s!

Hidden Gem in Hinsdale. Great place to bring the whole family– kids welcome! The group of us had bruschetta, salads and meatballs to start. All were prepared well and served quickly. Followed by gnocchi and pizza, which were both delish! We finished the meal by sharing a couple of the chocolate chip pies with ice cream, served nice and warm– yummy! The service was friendly and environment welcoming.

This is Hinsdale’s hidden treasure. Family run, reasonable pricing and kid friendly. Not to mention, good food and service. My recommendations are: Baked Mostaccioli, Orecchiette and the Chicken Vesuvio. Pizza is also very good. They have a separate take-out area. Look for coupons on their website. My in-restaurant dining advice on weekends is to go after 7:30 as before that it’s jammed with families. Wine list is also limited.

Great food. Good Value. Attentive staff. Always enjoy my dinner at Giuliano’s. They have great pizza but their other entrees are equally worth trying.

I’ll start by saying this is my first Unilocal review. My husband brought this pizza and tiramisu for me after I gave birth to our son. It was literally the most amazing thing ever! Anytime my hubby asks me if I want pizza, I tell him I want that pizza from Hinsdale. He agrees that would be nice, but we live 30 min away from Hinsdale. Well on this average Saturday evening we were in the neighborhood and decided to go! We got the breadsticks, pizza and tiramisu. We weren’t exactly sure which pizza to order, since my hubby had purchased the last one in a hazy stupor. So here is where the story gets really interesting, and the reason I give this place five stars. As toddlers and infants do, they both had a meltdown right before our pizza arrived. Once our pizza arrived, my hubby realized it was the wrong kind. He wanted their Sicilian crust and we accidentally ordered the thin. With the two kids freaking out, I told my hubs to pack up the dinner and let’s go — we will just eat it at home. Our delightful waitress packed it up for us, and after hearing that we ordered the wrong kind of pizza, she gave us the pizza for free. I wanted to make sure we also got the tiramisu so I ordered one as we were walking out — because even though I had two crying children that tiramisu is worth it, dammit! Well, the kind gentleman there insisted on giving us the tiramisu for free as well. The thin crust was very good, and we look forward to going back and getting our Sicilian crust pizza very soon — maybe next time without the kids! This place has great food and exceptional service. — Laura

Absolutely love this place. Pizza is great, with tons of available toppings I don’t find at many other places. Even their other food is good, which you can’t often say about pizza joints. Their delivery is always on time, from my experience, regardless of weather. The in restaurant service is good as well. My family has been getting pizza from here for many years, and we shall continue to do so for many more.

Ordered for the first time to try something new — we normally get Lou Malnatti’s, Fox’s, or Home Run Inn. Called for delivery. They said an hour for delivery. Hour and twenty minutes later I called asking where our pizza was. Woman on the phone was unapologetic and said it should be here soon because the driver had been out for quite a while — which told me the pizzas would be arriving cold. Pizzas finally arrived at an hour thirty, cold, with no apology from the driver. Flavor was just ok. Maybe it’s better fresher and hotter. I wouldn’t know. First and last time ordering here.

I absolutely love Giuliano’s Stuffed Pizza. This pizza is way better than any other competitor’s. It has lot’s of cheese but what I like best is the sauce. Very unique and never greasy. I also love their Chopped Salad… excellent dressing which is a one of a kind here. The ambience is super cute with dark hardwood booths and cool bricked walls that are very antique looking. They have a nice granite front desk and cool lattice work candle holder that adds to it’s flare here. A great place to chill on a date or with the family. This place has both ambience and excellent food in an out of the way place… down a hidden alley… let your date night begin in Hinsdale. The owner and chef Mickey is personable as is his staff. A must go to restaurant and hidden gem in Hinsdale!

Boy — really surprised by all the high ratings. Feel the need to balance it out. The usual caveat — maybe I came on a bad day but Service very good & friendly if very slow but Salmon on dish cooked to almost dry over a pasta with too many random ingredients — mish mash of poorly paired tastes Chopped salad very meh light level of ingredients Alfredo ok Ravioli ok Have had pizza at prior visits — ok All in all at most 3 stars — but it was pretty pricey. Antico Posto is 15 mintues away — similar price point — whole other level of quality. Davanti Enoteca 7 minutes away — far better — probably similar price. Francesa’s in La Grange 15 miutes — far better similar price. Haven’t tried Pogglio in Hinsdale — assume the price is higher. Scapa in Clarendon Hills, ZaZas in Westmont same meh quality — for similar perhaps slightly lower price skip these two and Guilano’s and make the trip for better food.

Food was great. Best stuffed pizza I’ve had so far. My girlfriend has the chicken ceasear salad. The chicken was cut and cooked to perfection.

Pizza was actually very good, but both my pizzas arrived folded on themselves and the manager was only willing to send us one new pizza. Definitely not the way to win customers. Unfortunately the pizza was actually good but the service is what sucked. I won’t be going back.

Guiliano’s has spoiled us for any other stuffed pizza around! Absolutely perfect. The sauce is the difference — amazing. Other menu items besides pizza are very well thought out and so good. Truly a hidden gem(in an alley), but so worth the find. We have moved, but will still make the 40 min drive whenever I have a stuffed pizza craving…

I can’t vouch for the atmosphere or service because we got ours to go, but the food definitely gets high marks. My dad ordered a sausage & pepperoni pizza. The crust was nice and thin, with a little crisp to it, and the pepperoni was totally awesome — if I were still a kid, I would have picked every slice of pepperoni off of that pie and devoured them all, leaving dozens of conspicuous little holes behind. Seriously good pepperoni. My mom had gnocchi in olive oil & parmesan. The gnocchi was a good texture and consistency but I had trouble getting much flavor out of it. I think it would have been better with a red sauce, or maybe some garlic with the olive oil, but she loved it exactly as it came and ate every last one. I opted for the cheese ravioli with bolognese sauce, and I had similar feelings about this as I had with the gnocchi — that the pasta on its own was a little boring. Luckily, the bolognese sauce rocks and they give you plenty, so my meal was great.

Damn fine pizza! Thin, crispy, exceptional topping ratio… What more could you ask for when pigging on pie? Giuliano’s is a super cute and surprisingly romantic setting for pizza and other Italian delights in the ‘burbs. Located on a side street that looks more like a back alleyway, this quaint little gem is deserving of the hunt. This is a place I will definitely be taking my Italian food loving Gramma and Mother. Dimly lit and spacious while offering a variety of beers and wine and still managing to be more than affordable, especially for it’s swanky Hinsdale digs. And the exceptional and accommodating staff were the cherry(tomato) on top. We went pretty traditional with pizza(spinach and fresh ricotta) and there Guiliano’s salad w/some crazy delicious balsamic vinaigrette dressing. A 16″ pie got owned tonight and I can guarantee you that won’t be the end of my story.
