Fantastic food and great staff! The catfish is dynamite and the chicken livers were some of the best my wife had ever had. If you want great homestyle cooked food and a place that treats you like family. look no further!

Went to Taste of Cindy’s kitchen for the first time tonight
We had the chicken liver dinners
The livers were GREAT, tender on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Great flavor. Loved the baked beans too, delicious! And the cornbread,. Yumm!
Baked like a pancake in the frying pan. So good!
We WILL be back!

Catfish, fried chicken, pinto beans, collards, cornbread, fried okra and Mac and cheese were super amazingly delicious. Sweet tea was awesome too. Service was amazing.

My first time in this place was wednesday and the food was outstanding. The veggies were so fresh and the fried corn bread was to die for. My husband had the hamburger steak special and it was so moist and my catfish was fried just right. And the entire staff is so sweet. I definitely will be going back. Everyone should try them. I don’t see how anyone can say anything negative about this place.

I was being indecisive about lunch and went to Unilocal.I saw great reviews for Cindy’s so off I go. It was amazing! The food is so good! I had the pork chops, YUM! Dessert was excellent, key lime pie! The staff was kind and friendly! I will definitely go again!

If you are looking for country cooking in Hiram, YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! Skip the crappy Ryan’s buffet. This is your stop.
First and foremost, the service is amazing.
Second, the food is JUST like Granny’s country cookin, for lack of better term. We got two sweet teas that tasted perfect. We ordered pork chops with brown gravy, collards, and macaroni and cheese, in addition to a chicken quesadilla. My *only* complaint would be that the gravy was a little plain – fixed right up with a dash of s & p.
But seriously, get the macaroni.
This is not a traditional restaurant. It is not suited for large parties, but families and carryout orders (and they deliver!!).
To top it all off, the whole meal was only $ 17.00. I had no choice but to put my change in the tip jar, it really is THAT good.

My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. I had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions along with butter beans and okra, it was very tasty, we both will be back soon!
Prices are good along with the food.

We had chicken and burgers, fried okra, slaw, mac and cheese, tea. All was cooked and seasoned well, service made us feel at ease and gave all we needed. We will be back soon.

Was originally going to give this place a 3, but after some internal reflection I had to go with a 4 My manager decided to order from here for an open house. We got A LOT of food at a great price. It was the food itself that was dragging. The chicken was under cooked, I do not know what seasonings were on it but it was nasty, at least the smell. The rolls were good, but it’s hard to mess that up. Mac and cheese was great, but it did something to the plates. Make sure you use plastic folks. The turnip greens were ehh, didn’t indicate that the person who made them knew how to incorporate the love of the south in them. Kinda bland. The blue velvet cake icing was great! The cake itself, not so much. Would use again the future, but probably order a different catering menu.

The food here is fantastic! My only complaints are: 1) the restaurant itself is small, and outdated. This restaurant is better suited for take out rather than a sit down establishment. 2) The red velvet cake is good, but it did not taste like a true red velvet cake. It tasted like a pound cake with red food coloring. Other than those issues, everything was great!

Yes! I am so glad we tried this place! Down home southern cooking just like my mama makes… Fried cornbread is so good… everything is good… you may want to head to the gym afterward because something this good can not be healthy! My advice to the establishment — Use less butter/​oil.
