My wife and I were training here with there for about three months before my wife injured her wrist during one of our sessions and we needed to stop coming while she recuperated. We had just renewed for 13 more sessions(for $ 500) and had only used 2 of the sessions. My wife is still having wrist problems(it’s been a little over 2 months now), so it doesn’t look like we’re going to be able to finish out our couples training sessions, plus our trainer left Complete Training shortly after we stopped going, so we would not even be able to finish the workouts we signed up for even if my wife could go back. I called to request a refund of the balance on our account and was told to seek it from my trainer as she had been a contractor and my fees went«directly to her.» I contacted our trainer and she was happy to refund my money, but she told me she only received half of the charge CT made to my credit card(the rest was retained by the gym for use of their facility). She suggested I contact CT again for the other half. I dropped them another line(this time via email) and they refused to refund my remaining balance, saying it had been too long of a period since I paid them. They offered me a few personal sessions to work off the balance, but the whole reason we started there was so my wife and I would go together and, frankly, I’m so disillusioned by their attempt to pass me off to our trainer(and denying I even paid them directly) and overall poor handling of this whole situation that I have no interest in going back. To top it off, nowhere in our contract or communication was there a stated limit on when refunds would be issued, so they don’t really have a legal leg to stand on; the owners are just being difficult. Anyway, I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience at CT. Our trainer was great, but the owners suck at customer service.
