Starbucks

The only thing I have a problem with this location is that it is difficult to get into the parking lot and be able to easily turn around on the main roads. I usually only atop here when heading north. No problems other than that. It is at a busy intersection.

*Ho hum* Starbucks.
Though to be perfectly frank, I am uncertain if my generalized disdain for Starbucks has to do with my dislike of the overall bitterness of most of their coffee, or my rebellious nature towards corporate America. Irrelevant, you say? Perhaps. Intangible? Most certainly, but I can say that I try to avoid the place unless I am in a hurry or desperate.
My visit yesterday morning was mainly due to the fact that I was running late and in desperate need for a caffeine fix. It was also late enough in the morning that they did not have a line that resembled the ticketing booth on your way into Soldier Field.
All things considered, my overpriced latte did the trick nicely. It still had the aforementioned bitterness that I am not a fan of, but my barista was pleasant and cordial and they had me paid and out the door in short order. It would be hard for me to imagine a twilight zone type of reality in which I would become a Starbucks regular, but it does the job in a pinch.

With so many Starbucks around me. I choose to come to this one, only because I get great customer service from Michelle K. This girl is amazing at her job ! Keep it up !!

Super friendly and nice.!! Efficient and quick!

I’ve had better starbucks, but a good location if you need to jump off 90 and get something quick. Nice searing inside, better than most actually. Good assortments of knock knacks.

It’s a decent Starbucks with friendly staff.
Usually plenty of room with areas to plug in and get wired. Drive through has adequate room for cars but a bit awkward if you’ve parked on the side street and are trying to get to and fro the shop.
It’s conveniently located, off of the interstate and has fairly easy access.

Ugh this drive thru is the worst. They are so slow have zero pep in their step. After waiting what seemed like an eternity they got my drink completely wrong. Only bad Starbucks I have ever been to and don’t plan to go back.

I work down the street from here and frequent this location often. They are pretty quick and friendly. I have never had any issues with my coffee. The only draw back is that they do have one rather annoying drive thru person in the afternoons who speaks so slowly that I am literally falling asleep while listening to him.

Even thought I’ve purchased hundreds of drinks from Starbucks, I walked in here and ordered my 3 drinks completely backwards. The barista that was taking my order didn’t even flinch and just smiled and was happy to help figure out exactly what it was I was trying to order.
I’ll be back when I’m in the area for sure!

I do prefer a locally-​owned business coffee shop when I can get it, and I did prefer Caribou before they closed, but Starbucks has a very respectable cup o joe.
I rarely get anything fancier than a black, blonde drip coffee.
I found the in-​out parking lot & drive thru to be a little difficult to manage. Coming from the north, you have to turn at the light by the Assembly, and cut thru the hotel parking lot. The drive thru line is not forgiving, and on busy mornings can wrap around the building, blocking many of the parked cars from leaving. There’s a drive-​thru ‘bucks @ Higgins & Golf thats easier to manage, IMO.

The best Starbucks coffee location ever!.. I’ve been going to this location every morning Mo-​Fri for the past 3 years… sometimes weekend days too… Never been disappointed or had to wait too long for my coffee. The staff even remembers my usual… and starts making it for me as soon as I pull in their parking lot, which helps me a lot of times when I’m running a few minutes behind in the morning going to work. I definitely recommend this location for the awesome customer service they provide with their very efficient staff members, and the great quality coffee they make perfectly right every time. Thank you for your hard work here, at this location, and thank you for making it to work every morning, even on those horrible snow days that we had to go through this winter. You guys are awesome and not every Starbucks location gets it right… I know, because I’ve tried many others… not so pleased with their service as I am with this particular location. :-)

This Starbucks never gets my order wrong (which happens often at other locations), and the staff are very friendly. So I go there often.
I’ve seen moments where for whatever reason, the customer got the wrong drink; they redid the drink and gave a free cookie/​voucher (?) as an apology. I think that’s awesome and unexpected, as other said locations never did anything when they got my order wrong.

I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I finally found something I love. Ok, something I am obsessed with!
It’s the Frappacino Mocha Cookie Crumble. Try one. You’re welcome in advance.
But really, this is a really good Starbucks location. The staff is really nice and accommodating. They have tons of games for you to play, and there are many places to sit. The food options look delicious as well! I have had the blueberry muffin, and it’s delightful!
They get you in and out quickly if you’re on the go!

Everyone knows your products are ace. I’m only leaving a review because of the adorable staff at this location. Instead of the stuck up baristas I usually get at these chains, this location employs attentive, genuinely nice young people who make sure to ask ‘how are you doing today’ before you order. A bit of kindness goes a long way, especially if you wash it down with a grande, skinny, ice chai latte…

There are 2 starbucks I visit each week. THIS is the good one! Although the entrance is a little inconvenient (only reason they got 4 instead of 5 stars), it’s on the left side of a very busy barrington rd. & I have to go left out of the joint (impossible.), I’m still a big fan. The staff is extremely friendly, they get my order right & IF for some reason I have to wait «long», they give me a card for a free drink on them.

Starbucks. You’ve updated your logo. You’ve placed a store blocks from my work. You’ve added some delightful food to your repertoire.
You have good coffee. You deserve an entire star for the Egg White, Spinach & Feta Wrap. That thing makes my day. I like you. I like you a lot.
This particular location is kinda tiny and parking can be limited, but they do have a drive thru.
