Great tasting Mexican lunch. Spicy but not too much. Portions were the right size. Not excessive. Service was prompt and friendly, restrooms clean. Good place to stop for a quick bite.

Order the BLT soup, homemade hamburger with cheese and the club sandwich for lunch. Supercell expectedly good, the hamburger was very good and the club sandwich got a medium review from the better half. Very kitschy and a environment clean. Not a bad place to stop in at

Where to begin… if I could rate this place a big fat zero I would! The food was okay… it was the service that was absolutely terrible!!! Waitresses forgot several items and we kept having to repeat our requests. Steak was over cooked and pork chops were so tough you could barely chew them! Had to send both plates back. Upon checking out, we noticed we were being over charged by almost $ 50. The«manager» Pam, the waitress and a few adults out of our group reviewed the bill together, re-wrote the order with pricing and recalculated everything(tax, gratuity, the whole works). After we finished recalculating the bill, Pam went to her little office just behind the cash register and began recalculating EVERYTHING! Something we just did together…30 minutes later and beyond frustrated at this point I poked my head into the door and kindly said«excuse me, Pam?», I got NO response. I just chalked it up that perhaps she didn’t hear me so I called her name again… and again… and yet again! Finally, I walked into her office, clapped my hands a couple of times and said«PAM?!»…her response was unbelievable, unprofessional and simply rude…“what?!”. I told her that I called her name 5 times and she responded again very rudely with«what do you want?» I was flabbergasted!!! I told her that we are her customers and a response the first time would have been nice, she clearly could care less. As a business owner myself, I couldn’t fathom talking to ANY customer the way she did. I told her that in the future with her customers, that acknowledgement goes a long way… again her response was absurd«yeah, sorry»…we begin to go over the bill yet again, when I show her that we already calculated the bill and our figure reflects $ 166.85 and hers $ 166.99…seriously down to pennies. We finally pay the bill and some harsh words were exchanged, I walked outside and waited for the rest of our group to come out so we could leave. As I’m standing there in the parking lot, one of the waitresses(Arianna) from the restaurant comes outside and asks«are you finished?»…I replied«does it look like I’m finished?»…and she informed me that her boss wants us to leave, now mind you I am still missing a family member who is inside the restaurant using the bathroom before we head back to Phoenix. She said some remarks and even threatened to hit me(which Pam apologized for, BIGWHOOP)! My family and I are very well educated, good, respectful people that unfortunately were being taken advantage of and didn’t appreciate the treatment received due to an error on their end which could have easily been corrected. Needless to say, we will NEVER go back to this place, NEVER recommend it to anyone(clients, business partners, colleagues, friends or family) and plan on filing a complaint with the BBB. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACEEVER, if you do… check your receipt and be prepared for nasty insults and threats!

So I saw the really bad ratings. But it was late in a small town and I was hungry and wondered how bad can it be. Well needless to say here I am leaving a 1 star review. The navajo taco wasn’t bad — get that if you have to come here. But everything about the chicken fried steak dinner was inedible. The steak was awful and not real steak — my wife and I each took a bite and left the rest. The corn was out of a can, the baked potato super dry, and the dinner roll disgusting to the point that it was spit out after one bite. Even the thousand island dressing in the salad tasted off and the salsa that came with the chips wasnt very good. And no real butter, just that nasty vegetable spread stuff. So ya, if you come here get the Navajo taco, but avoid the place if you can. For late night food might as well just grab some drive thru.
