They usually have great gear like strollers and other big items. However I rarely shop there because the store is completely unorganized compared to the other kid to kids I shop at and the clothes aren’t that great. It also smells interesting.

This store is great. I went in for the first time this week just to check it out as I’m expecting in a few months. The owner was super helpful and sweet. She wasn’t pushy and made me feel very welcome. They’ve got anything you could need at good prices. I will definitely be back.

I read the reviews and I think the people are totally wrong. It’s a very well organized clean store. I find the best brands too in this location. People in this area sell nice clothes. Today I got a pair of UGGs for my daughter for only $ 23. I’m in the Holladay location weekly and my kids have top brand clothing. Big deal if there’s a little dust on a stroller that has sat outside for one day. Some people are ridiculous!

Ok this place has cleaned up there act. Compared to the one on 700 east, this place is like Neiman Marcus. It seems to be a lot cleaner and not only have I sold a lot of items here for fair market value, but I have purchased there. Most toys are in working order and they have a lot of items that have been hardly used. One star loss is because sometimes, depending on who is buying, they really low ball price your items. Employees are really nice and let you shop and really are working instead of talking about there personal stuff in front of customers.

Regular readers of mine know that I’m reticent to use one word when 50(or more) will do, but frankly one word serves very well here and that word is clutter. I get that it’s a small store and they’re trying to do what they can to survive in an area that looks like it is perpetually on the verge of crumbling from decay and they probably don’t want to turn anyone away if it can be helped, so this place is just jumbled and jam-packed full of stuff. Some of it is decent, but you have to have a goodly amount of patience and preferably an empty store to rummage around here. Factor in that nearly all of the locations of this chain have high enough overhead to demand a fairly pretty penny for what amounts to(hopefully well-kept) hand-me-downs. Staff is considerably less surly than the place on 2100 S., which is good, considering the factors involved in shopping here. Turning stuff in, of course, is just going to render you with a null ROI, which is basically par for the course at this chain and unless the stuff is either like new(and somewhat trendy) or a high ticket item, you’re probably going to be leaving with it again.

I wasn’t too impressed with this store. I’ve been to lots of the kid to kid stores and I think it could be better organized. All the kids toys are right on the front and it is CHAOS. Kids roughly playing with kids, screaming… Not that I mind the kids but normally all kid to kid stores have the little built in play pen with toys and it seems like a better flow to direct your kid to quietly(and contained) play in that area only while you browse(and constantly check on your kid obviously). Service was friendly and they’re VERY patient! I recently sold some clothes here and I didn’t get as much as I expected(but its better than nothing) they pay 20% of their retail price. Overall ok, but it just turns me off a it to have chaos going around when I shop — I’d personally prefer other locations.
