The food was phenomenal, we had the humus with pita bread and a lamb pastry(I can’t recall the exact name of it) for starters. For main course we had the lamb shank(very well seasoned and the meat was so tender it was falling off the bone. The baklava was sooo good, I’m eating my leftover baklava for breakfast while I’m typing my review. They have a full bar, nice martini menu for us «martini girls.» I highly recommend this restaurant. I told my husband I want to go for Valentine’s Day.

This place is fantastic. With all of the«touristy» spots being near Hollywood Blvd. it’s tough to find a restaurant that has good quality food and service. This is the restaurant where we have eaten the most because it is delicious and the staff is very kind. Love the kafta and the doner!

Very good service, great looking restaurant, good but not amazing food, and way over priced for what you are served. We would definitely not return.

Excellent service. Walked in requesting an item from their online, Unilocal menu – of which is obsolete, but they made it for me anyways. Falafel and French fries. Epa!

Food is overpriced for what you get. I sat outside because I ordered a hookah and the tables are next to a bus stop(how fun). We never got refills on our drinks and ended up drinking hot drinks. I felt like they just sat us outside and left us there, service was non existent. There are so many nicer restaurants around the area, even the one next door which is also Mediterranean with much better selection, music and prices.

Sorry but i wont be ordering from this restaurant again. I ordered delivery and it came on time but my food wasnt that great the fried calamary was old and looked like it was refried. The falaphol was ok but the salad tasted like something rotten. Just an over all bad experience. I ate Some of it because i was hungry. I Would not recommend this food at all. But that was my experience yours could be different. Sad i was hopeing for a more pleasant eating experience.

Delicious and flavorful. Food was served straight from the oven — piping hot. Attentive wait staff. Will return. p

This place is great. I had the sample platter you can share with 2 or 3 people. Really good. The waitress was really nice. She gave us the hummus to try. Everybody that talks this place down for the service looks like a faggot. If you go to a Muslim restaurant acting like a fairy you probably won’t get good service. Too bad for you. If I could afford it I would eat here all the time.

It’s a great Resturant for food. Nothing else… Horrible choice of wines but expensive, who doesn’t know«Glennfidich»!!! Took three people to figure it out. Again, it’s a Resturant so I didn’t care. I had the Lamb Shank, it’s an awesome dish. I really enjoyed it. It’s cooked in a way it melts in your mouth. Lamb is placed on top of the mash potatoes. And it have baked pumpkin also, which I didn’t even touch. It don’t go with the food any way!!! Over all the food was good. I will go back for it. **** This Resturant offers hookah. Absolutely horrible. According to my friends it’s nasty. They changed the thing twice and it wasn’t fixed. End up cancelling it. And you have to sit outside. Since it next to a convenient store, all the homeless are around. So it’s not a great choice to sit out. Overall, I will go back for the food. That’s it. Nothing more I will do here. Also, the servers are not that friendly. So if anyone want to try the food it’s great. Everything else I will go somewhere else.

— Appetizer was spot on — Drinks were a hassle as well as general service because the staff were busy in the back throughout the meal — Entrée lacked portion for astronomically priced dish; however tasted good w/exception of stale bread — Would not honor Unilocal offer — Dessert was great Overall 3⁄5. I’ve had better Turkish & visiting there many times this place falls short of the authentic experience. Nice music & clean atmosphere, however, plates were not clean when we arrived. Nothing a little water and napkin couldn’t fix do I didn’t mind too much. Recommend adjusting the prices down about 15%. I would cautiously recommend unless you have a Unilocal 50% off coupon then it’s worth the unnecessary surcharge they’ve already added into the pricing.

A great neighborhood Resturant! Very clean and service is terrific. They treat you like ur a guest in there home. My husband and I had the Turkish meat sampler which was outstanding and a ton of food for $ 60. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing food. The flavor is pleasant, intense, but not overwhelming. We had the sharing platter. The assortment of meat was spectacular! Desert was good. The rice pudding was especially pleasing. The service was just as good as the food. The ambiance as well. It was an excellent experience all around. Hopefully, I will return when I am in the area again.

This restaurant is excellent! I had a great experience here. I visited this restaurant after watching a PBS special on them lol. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I noticed how mellow and classy the restaurant is. There is not very many private seating, the dining area is pretty open but it was ok. The waitress was very patient with us as we needed a lot of time to read over their menu. I come from a middle eastern background and eat a lot of mediterranean food so I have very high expectations for these restaurants. I ordered the braised lamb and my sister ordered the chicken kebabs. The braised lamb was absolutely delicious! The sauce reminded me of a dish my mother makes and it just brought back so many good memories. It was flavored and spiced perfectly was a perfect amount of rice on the side. The lamb did not taste«game-y» at all and was very pleasant to eat. The meat fell off the bone like butter! Soooo good! I definitely recommend getting that dish if you ever visit. My sister also really enjoyed her chicken kebab which is a great sign as she is very picky with her food. For dessert we ordered the kunefe with cheese(a very traditional dessert we have back at home) and I was so surprised… out of all the kunefe and baklava I have ever tried in SoFlo I have never tried anything so similar to the home cooked kunefe! So delicious! It wasn’t too sweet and the flavor of the cheese was just right! Their turkish tea on the house complimented the dessert perfectly! The tea was extremely delicious, robust with flavor and spices, not your average red tea! I highly recommend this place, such a nice quiet ambiamnce and a great food expereince.

I wasn’t expecting a nice place(décor). I was a Turkey and middle east and this is not a typical restaurant. I was expecting a hole in the wall. But this one is more like the Russian restaurants in Sunny Isles. Service was good. Food was ok. I had the stuffed eggplant. I was expecting more flavor. As a side sliced tomato white rice. Let me tell you, when I was in Istanbul after 20 days of eating their food I asked for a simple white rice in 4 restaurants… no one could make it. So I think it’s not very Turkish. But is not bad at all. My husband had a very good salad with delicious figs. Everything was super clean. FYI I always remove 1 star if they have a flat screen TV. In this case there was a non sense channel on. Really?! I think TV’s are a Sport Bars things… Please remove it it doesn’t go with your very nice bar area!

Outstanding! This restaurant immediately became one of my favorites. It is not cheap for Miami(entrees are in the $ 20 – 29 range, with some imported fish at $ 30 – 39, plus $ 5 – 8 for side dishes). However, the somwhat higher prices are completely justified: unusual(for Miami) cuisine, good-sized portions, delicious and expert execution of the dishes, professional service(pleasant, prompt, corteous, not pushy, with complete knowledge about the dishes and wines offered), elegant dining area. In fact, the place offers phenomenal value, despite being a bit more expensive than an average S FL restaurant. We tried Turkish wine, and I was pleasantly surprised — it was delicious, with a very complex taste to it, dry and smooth. For entrees we went safe: Iskander kebab and lamb shish kebab with bulgur, both of which were excellent. And for an appetizer we tried sucuk sausage and zucchini pancakes — kinda like latkes but made from zucchini — and were simply superb. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes on the very extensive menu.

Great authentic Turkish food. Very friendly staff. Great location. I drive periodically from 30mins away for the food. The new location of the restaurant is great and the new decoration is very elegant. Highly recommended.

Impressed by this place, I love Mediterranean food and this place hits the spot . The décor is beautiful, great setting and convenient location right on Harrison with indoor and out door seating . We ordered the mezzo platters. Both hot and cold . The cigar borek, spinich pies were delicious. I would pass on the falafel, weren’t my favorites . We also got the dessert. I absolutely love kunefe, my mother used to make it as kids and I loved the one they served here too . I’m not a baklava fan however I enjoyed taking I bite out of the one here . Not overly soaked in honey . Overall I see myself coming here again.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated with really comfortable dining chairs. We were a table of 6 and I had a reservation. They greeted us promptly and seated us. The server allowed us to have 6 separate checks and tip was included. He brought us warm bread and chilled butter patties. The bread was white, not fluffy and had good flavor. He came around with a cart with a display of some of the appetizers and explained them. I thought this was a great idea since the menu doesn’t have a description for each appetizer. I ordered a bowl of lentil soup. It was big for $ 5. It was creamy and puréed. It was excellent. The tzatziki was also good, but very runny compared to other restaurants. They topped it with flavorful olive oil. The bread on the table was used to dip in it. It was a large serving for $ 6. Multiple people could share it. There is free street parking along the backside of the restaurant. This is a very nice restaurant and I wouldn’t hesitate returning to try more items on the menu. The dessert tray looked amazing, but I was too full to try anything.
