Caribbean Resort Tiki

Caribbean Resort Tiki is located within the front yard of one of those «cheap» bargain type hotels right off of Hollywood beach. This bar is definitely not an adult hangout, as when I was there I was surrounded by scurrying little noisy kids from the hotel. The bar also functions as a makeshift food stand selling hot dogs, french fries, nachos and non-​alcoholic drinks etc.
Strike 1 — two blonds (one had a constant frown on her face) were working, the frowning one was on complain mode. Both were ignoring the bar patrons while the frowning one kept complaining about how she hated staying home.
Strike 2 — as mentioned kids were noisily running, playing and climbing all around me.
Strike 3 — ya the drinks are cheap and look tasty in the pictures, but they’re horrible concoctions made with super sweet chemical tasting syrups. I ordered a bora bora cocktail and the non-​frowning blond put ice, syrup and liquor in the glass then handed me the drink and incredibly told me I needed to mix it lol. No I’m not joking the bartender handed me an unmixed drink and told me to mix it lol
There’s always a first time for everything, but this is the last thing I ever expected to experience.
The drink was undrinkable, all I could taste was syrup, it was disgusting. I barely touched it and got up and left.

Fun place! Well-​priced drinks and fun music in a festive outdoor spot. We stopped here before dinner to unwind after a long drive. My husband had a beer and, since I’m not drinking while pregnant, the bartender was very friendly and agreeable about mixing up a bunch of non-​alcoholic mixers for my drink (and only charged us $ 2 for it, which is awesome since most places charge the same as or almost as much as an alcoholic mixed drink for a virgin drink) and even made it look fun and tropical for me. :) I combined ginger ale, orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and lime into what my husband named the «pregnant lady special.» :)

This place is great. The tiki bar is happening with karaōke tonight. Bar tender Molly is great.
The rooms are clean and it is right by the beach. 2^nd time here and we will be back.

Most delicious drinks on the Broadwalk for the best prices! We live close by and this place always feels like vacation. Alanna the bartender is amazing!

Love it! Fantastic bar by the beach, if you are looking for an awesome beach bar this is the place to go! Lovely vibe. The place is kind of hidden away from public, but please don’t hesitate and search for it! The tiki bar is part of the hotel but don’t be deceived! This is open to general public! Best drink options, prices and variety on the boardwalk!

This is why I come to Hollywood Florida. Alanna takes care of regulars and tourists/​newcomers alike. She has a personality that makes you feel like Norm from Cheers. You really feel like you belong. It’s a little off the Broadwalk, but it worth it.
This is a place that needs a visit or three.

I’m so happy we found this place! After I saw all the good reviews, we were determined to hunt down this tiki bar. Luckily, it was located right behind where we were having lunch at the Taco Spot. It’s a small tiki bar, right in the middle of Caribbean Resort.
Most bars in Hollywood beach have up and down reviews, complaining about the prices, cleanliness, and service. You can scratch all those worries & just come here. It’s definitely the best place to drink on Hollywood beach– in terms of quality in cocktails and prices (and it’s clean). It’s only $ 2.50 per shot, now that’s a deal! That beats paying almost $ 10 per shot at The Pub, making a round for your friends costing near $ 50 for 5 shots– no thank you.
On top of that, Alanna is a sweetheart and makes pretty awesome cocktails. Bartending is her art, she makes colorful and creative drinks– just look at the photos. She mentioned that they have Latin & jazz nights too. Pretty soon they’re going to be opened in the mornings as early as 7am everyday. Beach, breakfast, & pina coladas– yes please.

The best drinks and the best bartender alanna will make sure you have a great time. Plus live music will fill your day with perfect warmth and good ol fashioned fun all around. 5 stars all around.

Alanna is great! Really enjoying the drinks and the boyfriend and I are having a blast. We got some cool glasses and it’s close to the beach and shields you from the rain.

Super cool Tiki Bar at the Caribbean Resort. Super close to the beach and all the cocktails you would expect to find in the Caribbean. Rum based and sweet juices. Small bar menu and an assortment of bottled and draft beer. Covered from rain so you can stay at the bar while outside and keep on drinking.
Close to the water so you can run and skinny dip to keep up with its theme. ‘Get freaky at the Tiki!’ I think I might.

Shelly is the best bartender in Hollywood hands down! Cheap beers and right near the beach! Definitely a good place to grab drinks.
