The location of this place is great — sit at the bar and you have a perfect view of the ocean while you eat. The chips/guacamole/salsa were good. We ordered the chicken burrito — delicious. The steak taco was yummy, but best of all was the Korean Short Rib taco… so much flavor — a little spicy but the waiter let me know that when I ordered it. And I love spicy! The only thing that disappointed me was the margarita. I’ve had tons of margaritas in my lifetime… and these weren’t good at all. It was very weak and tasted like flavored water. It was also warm. We didn’t even finish them. I would go back for the food and just stick with water. The food was great.

This place is LEGIT. There are so many hokie places in Hollywood but the flavors here are SO delicious. I’m really picky and this place was amazing. Get the white sangria and the beef tacos, with chips and guacamole. Strong lime taste and they were SO amazing

Excellent service and who wouldn’t love the view from their patio?! Fresh food and awesome taste. I think I could have kicked the guacamole bowl. We had three types of tacos and the sauce was so yummy! I wish this place was closer to my home state because I would be there all the time!

In town for three days only and had lunch at The Taco Spot twice. Definitely a favorite! Would recommend to anyone who visits. The owner is on site and shows great care in his food and service. We loved the mahi tacos in the corn tortilla and the house made hot sauce.

Awesome drinks and amazing food. Right on the beach. I got a margarita that was out in a pineapple, best drink I’ve had so far here in Florida. Taco’s were fabulous.

These guys deserve a solid 5 star rating, the taco ingredients are fresh and the meats are very well marinated. This was my second time visiting this establishment and I’m trying to figure out why I waited a handful of months before coming back. The service is great and the prices are reasonable, Taco Tuesday’s from now on! A few tips, parking can be a hassle so make sure to download the park mobile app and use the parking garage that’s on Hayes street. The taco spot is walking distance and now that Margaritaville is open I highly recommend going on a weekday. During this time the weather can fool you into thinking a little breeze is nothing sitting on the beachfront but a 75 degree weather can feel like the high 60’s. I’ll let my only picture speak for itself, you’ll thank me later!

We had family in town from Colorado and wanted to take them to eat on the beach. When I first looked at this place(from Unilocal ofcourse) I was a little concerned. I wanted them to have good food and this place sort of looked like a pool bar in a way. So I continued to scroll through pictures and reviews and realized that this place is actually perfect. Yes, it’s tiny but the view is amazing it faces the ocean and it’s right on the boardwalk. Let’s get down to business. The food and drinks. I’m a huge fan of margaritas, we often make them at home from scratch. So that’s what my mom and I ordered and it just tasted like margarita mix – not a fan. We told the waitress we would rather have mojitos(also $ 8.00) and the waitress graciously switched our orders. First, I ordered the corn on the Cobb which was slightly disappointing but only because I ordered it without the cilantro cream. I also ordered a carnitas hard shell taco that comes with pico de gallo and cheese($ 3.50) which was so good. I also tasted my sisters Korean short rib taco($ 5.50) which was beyond amazing. My mom also ordered this one and could not stop saying how good it was. All of the tacos come with a signature cilantro cream which my family was very hesitant to have on the tacos because none of us like cilantro so we asked for it on the side. Boy did we make a mistake; we couldn’t eat this sauce fast enough! It was so delicious and garlicky – yum! Once they cleared all of our food it started raining so we paid our bill and hung out at our table waiting for it to stop. THEN the waitress brought over a piece of chocolate cake just because! How sweet is that?! To wrap up– great place for a quick bite on the beach, great view, reasonable prices and amazing tacos. Go try it!

We have been a fan since this place opened on the Broadwalk. The food is very good, portions are ample and the prices reasonable. Two tacos – choice of filling, ear of roasted corn and a side for 10 dollars; their hot sauce also is yummy. And the service is excellent. Go there. Be warned they are busy busy busy; pick an off time.

This place is the best! My wife and I discovered it on our vacation to Hollywood beach, we loved it so much we ate dinner here 4 out of the 5 nights we were visiting. Food is amazing, the Grilled Mahi and grilled shrimp tacos were my favorite.

Pretty good tacos, cheap prices, good location right on the boardwalk. When i went the weather was not cooperationg, but it was covered so it was ok. Sangria was not that great. Good service as they let us sit there and relax and they were not on top of us all the time.

Good soft tacos(which says a bit since we’re from Austin where excellent tacos are everywhere) at good prices. We tried the chicken taco, the carnitas taco, and the baja fish(As a heads up, it’s fried, not grilled; I’m used to the default being grilled but fried was good, too) taco. The carnitas and baja fish were our favorites, and the creamy green sauce they put on them is delicious.

Came here on a very windy day with my friend for a early dinner. The location is perfect however on a windy day it can stink. The staff was super friendly and the menu options were very cheap. It’s the typical small taco joint. Had a teeki hut top, with a small outdoor area and very small indoor area. I image on a hot day, it would be hard to get a seat. The music was a mix and def not Mexican, but Latin for sure. They also had a TV blaring in the background. The tacos where ok, I have had better but for the price i didn’t have that high of an expectation. The sangria was ok. The chips and salsa that most restaurants give you had a surcharge of $ 3.00 and if you ask for extra sauce, its a $ 1.00 up charge so keep that in mind. The view is fantastic and on a nice day, I image there is a lot of street traffic to watch.

If your a local or your visiting this is a must do! The is a very popular lunch time destination on the boardwalk in Hollywood. The restaurant has a cool little cabana feel to it. The best place to sit is on the bar stools that look out towards the ocean and Boardwalk. Delicious food and people watching how can you go wrong? The service here is great. Everyone is over the top friendly. The restaurant stays clean throughout the day even with the imminent threat of seagulls at any given time. My friends and I started with and order of chicken nachos. The nachos were loaded with fresh ingredients plus the ever so healthy melted golden queso cheese over the top. The chips had a really flavorful seasoning on them as well which just added to the taste. For lunch I had a short rib burrito. It was so amazing. Tender cooked short ribs with rice, black beans, seasoned rice, and cheese. There was some kind of creamy sauce on the burrito too and it really set this thing off. In short this is a must try. Definitely gets a recommendation and a massive 5-Star review!

Yum! We will be back. We got the 2 ground beef taco hard shells combo. The tacos were delicious! The hard shell was fresh. Nice green sauce sitting on the table. Best corn on the cob I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back. We enjoyed the music. Bathrooms are clean. Great wait staff.

So I’ve been coming here for a while. It’s time for me to write a review. My favorite beach is Hollywood because is nothing like South Beach, is definitely an older crowd and more relaxed. So whenever we go to Hollywood beach and get hungry we usually grab a bite to eat at The Taco Spot, it always hit the spot. We usually only stick to tacos, just because this is a more Americanized version of Mexican food. I have to admit the Short Rib taco is our favorite, followed by the fish taco, they’re the perfect combo at the beach… Some tacos and beers… Sign me up ;)

By far the best tacos I’ve ever had. I had the Baja Fish tacos and they were amazing. The crème sauce on it was delicious and the fish was perfectly fried and not at all greesy. The Pico was awesome too, very fresh. My husband got the Carnitas burrito which he said was the best burrito he ever had. They give you a tray with 4 differnt sauces and they were all delicious, just made everything even better! For an app we got chips and Guac and that was very good too! We both got Strawberry Margaritas and they were way stronger than we realized! ;D Service was awesome. All that and it’s right on the beach and broadwalk. Cannot beat it. We want to go back everyday we’re here!

So, sitting by the ocean and drinking a piña colada was on our daughter’s bucket list. I discovered this as she and I were taking a walk along the broadwalk. We came across The Taco Spot and noticed a sign board outside advertising their pina coladas. The sign board had a photo of a hollowed out pineapple that was filled with a piña colada. This served 2 people and cost $ 15. I told her that I thought it was too much for 2 people. We went inside and found out that smaller ones that were served in a plastic cup were available. Right away, I noticed the slushie machine and figured that this would be a weak, almost virgin, drink. She told me to go grab a table outside while she got the drinks. 2 drinks cost, with the tip included, cost $ 20 and it was her treat. We sat at the table slowly sipping our drinks(we had to sip slowly — either that or get brain freeze!) Right away, I picked up on the very strong rum flavor. I haven’t had a piña colada in years but this was the strongest one I ever had! Woo wee! — so strong that it got me drunk! Fortunately, not bad enough to get sick or stagger around but, still!!! Meanwhile, our daughter was just fine — and apologetic. No need to be apologetic, I consented to having this drink and didn’t expect it to affect me this way. All that said, I have no idea what their tacos are like. Maybe, in hindsight, it would have been a good idea to eat one to go along with that darned piña colada. So…if you are ever in Hollywood Beach, strolling along the broadwalk and spot that piña colada sign and find yourself wanting one… expect it to be a strong one! You have been warned LOL!

Yummy! So schön :)

I came here on a nice, sunny day with my girlfriend to have lunch & have drinks. I like this place because it’s on the Hollywood strip, right next to the beach. It’s the ideal place to eat lunch, feel the ocean breeze, and enjoy the view. Only con is that you always have to pay for parking, but hey– it’s Hollywood beach, it’s expected. We got to catch up w/our lives while sippin on pina coladas, which had a decent amount of alcohol(compared to some places that give you small, watered down drinks). I didn’t have the pleasure of trying their corn or fish tacos, but I hear their pretty spectacular. I did get a taste of their ground beef salads — it came in a big bowl with the usual taco toppings(guacamole, tomatoes, cheese, beans, etc) & was quite filling. Plus, there’s a tiki hut bar right behind the building that had really good cocktails with cheaper prices.
