I’m completely obsessed with the insanely beautiful lash extensions I got from Henry! This is my first Unilocal review and it’s for a reason, I had to share my experience! He is so genuine and amazing to be around. I’m so satisfied with how well my lashes look. I wanted to feel beautiful for my anniversary and I wasn’t let down! The amount of professionalism was through the roof everything was sanitized and cleaned perfectly and I felt safe and comfortable. Thanks so much for a clean, positive, and overall fantastic service. I’ll be back!!!

Beyond impressed and sooo happy that I found Henry. Henry was able to customize a treatment plan specifically for my needs. He recommended a microdermabrasion and photo facial for my skin needs. I’m sure it’ll change in the next few months. He walks you through each step, explains what he’s doing and why it benefits your skin type. He’s not a pushy product person. If he recommends something it’s because he really believes you’ll benefit from it. He’s also been in the industry for 30+ years so if full of useful information about anything skin related.
He also recommended using a clarisonic with a cashmere brush twice a week as part of my skin routine.
Love love love him! I’m going back and telling all of my friends!

This review is way overdue, I had purchased a Groupon for four IPL Photo facials
from Henry Von Norden studio. I used to «fake bake» a lot in my 20’s and from
the neglect in my I have dark spot here and there on my face, and 3 broken
capillaries. I went to see Henry the next week after I purchased the Groupon and
the office is super cute, it an old craftsman home in Hollywood turned business.
Upon meeting Henry I was extremely comfortable, he is personable and has a spark when it comes to being a people person.
I gave him the Groupon info for the IPL Photo facial and even though thats what I paid for he explained to me
that was not really what I need. I needed a laser thingy to actually burn/​laser the capillaries for good, with
the IPL there is a chance they will come back. So even though I paid for something different he gave me exactly what I needed
and let me tell you, it worked! The capillaries are almost nonexistent, I bought 4 treatments total, so we
are doing various things, laser, deep cleaning, then the IPL for whatever is left over on my face that needs
clearing up. Henry is great, he tells you what you need, no up sell here. Also his room is not one of those
rooms with birds chirping and grass blowing in the wind, the man loves 80’s music and I’m all types of down
with this, it’s very relaxing and Henry is a great conversationalist. I highly recommend him, and parking is very easy.
They have a lot in the back on the craftsman.

Henry is amazing! He recognised my problem areas straight away without me saying anything. From pigmentation problems to noticing that I was on antibiotics the week before. It was like seeing a skin psychic. The first time I saw him, the glow of my facial lasted a month. I just went back again and he has made my skin even and clear. I highly recommend Henry. Plus he’s super nice :)

I’ve always had freckles but started to noticed that I was developing sunspots and wanted to get rid of those. I initially went to Henry for an IPL facial and ended up purchasing a package of six. He gave me an honest assessment of my skin and a few options for what I could do to improve it (based on the time I have and how intensive the treatment would be).
We went the conservative route since I can’t afford to take time off of work to peel. I’ve gone 3 Times now and every time I see improvement. The spots are lightening and my overall complexion has gotten brighter.
Henry truly is an expert at what he does. He takes time and a selective standard to select the products that he uses. Henry also has an amazing eye for color (perfect match w make up). And the best part — he’s got a super warm personality that makes you feel immediately comfortable. So glad I found his studio! (Which is also a part of Michael’s wonderful Nail Couture boutique too!)

Henry is a wonderful person and a fantastic esthetician. My skin feels and looks so much better which has improved the way my makeup lays. I love coming to see Henry, knowing that I will be feeling better, inside and out, within minuets.

I have been searching for the right person to do my permanent eyebrows for a long time and finally found the best one, a gem, right in Hollywood. Henry is a true professional who has exceptional skills and is highly passionate about his work, shows a genuine knowledge of his field and always has the client’s well being in mind with every honest advice and recommendation. I came in for the first time to his studio and felt extremely comfortable right away because of his strong work ethic, excellent service and warm welcome. And for these reasons I entrusted my family to his services including my mom and my teenage daughter for their skin care needs. I am so happy with the natural, soft shape and color of my eyebrows and I have Henry to thank for this lifetime impression I will never forget. My family and I are so grateful to have found an artist and now an entrusted friend.

Henry is amazing. I am 49 years old and every time I see Henry I feel ten years younger when I look in the mirror. This last visit he did a light peel and the results are astounding. I could not be happier. People see me and they take a double-​take when they look at me. I usually get responses like, «You look amazing.» People can’t quite figure it out. If your skin is acting up this is just the best place to go. Wrinkles fade… skin is smoother… and he is so knowledgeable. His skin care products are the best as well. He has this cream I put on in the morning and it keeps my skin soft and free from dry spots all day long. Far better than anything else I have found. It’s like he’s a skin psychic. When I come in he is able to tell me what I have been up to… whether I’ve gone to the beach without protection or if I have been showering in water that is too hot. This is the first review I have ever written, but I had to write about my experience because it was truly awesome. I already knew that Henry is an artistic genius with permanent makeup since he did my permanent eyeliner and lips 10 years ago, but now, the experience is even better! My eyeliner is still perfect after 10 years (after all this time I still get frequent compliments) but my lips needed a retouch. Henry not only retouched my lips with the perfect natural color and symmetry that took years off my face, he now perfected the topical anesthetic. NO PAIN, NO INJECTIONS, NO KIDDING. :)

Henry is the greatest thing to happen to my skin. I came upon his salon accidentally and I am so happy that I did. He works wonders on my skin! I have found an amazing esthetician and he has found a customer for life. Not only is he the best at what he does, he’s also an amazing person! Can’t wait to go back for another visit! Don’t like giving reviews but this guy deserves an outstanding compliment. Henry is heaven sent to my face problem. Dealing with breakouts in Like forever but he helped me to stop them. He really knows how to take care of your skin. If only I can show my before and after omg! It’s like magic. It’s only been my third session but i could really tell the results! He knows what to do, all you have to do is to trust him. Love love!

Henry is an absolute genius not only with facials but with lash extensions and he has the biggest heart I had the most amazing experience I am so happy and grateful to know of this person I recommend over anybody I’ve ever met in my life. He was so thorough and kind. I’m in awe. Thank god humans like this still exist.

The difference between Henry and other estheticians I have been to is that he is incredibly intuitive. It’s almost as if he can communicate with skin to understand and treat problems in the most customized way possible. He did such an incredible job on my dry, sun damaged, acne ridden skin… I had no idea that you could get such visible improvement after one treatment! I had almost given up on trying to get my skin healthy and glowing because nothing had ever worked before, but walking into Henry’s studio was the best decision I could have made. He is truly a magician who will renew your faith in skincare. The cherry on top is that he is a wonderfully kind man who treats you like a friend instead of just another client.

I went in for microdermabrasion, and it was great. Henry is very knowledgeable, and explained what he was doing each step of the way. He also took the time to really evaluate my skin, and give me tips on how to improve my daily regiment. My skin’s texture immediately improved after my visit, and even weeks later, still feels great. I can’t wait to go back for another treatment!

Noticed my girlfriend was looking really amazing and she told me about Henry. He is a true artist in his trade. She had gotten permanent make-​up. I went with her to her next appointment and Henry put me in his make-​up chair and showed me what could be improved. I was sold. I now have permanent make-​up too! Not only do I get compliments from friends and c o-​workers but my husband loves it! With my type of job I do not have the time to touch up my make-​up. I look fresh all day and I can’t imagine why any woman wouldn’t want to do this. I get up and go in the morning and purchase minimum make-​up products. I referred my mother who also got the permanent make-​up. It took 10 years off of her face. She looks so much younger. He also treats my daughter for acne. If your looking for a new look, a change in your life for a new make over and boost, Henry is your guy. He is honest and will tell you the truth. He takes his time and will often add more later because he is a perfectionist. This has been a really good investment for me. Love my Henry!

Henry has been working miracles on me for several years. He’s extremely professional while being down to earth. I love his ‘tell it the way it is’ attitude versus just telling me what I want to here.
This place is by no means cheap but you get one on one service and a caring commitment to excellence. I drive past a few spas just to get to his but I would never think of going anywhere else for my permanent makeup needs. He’s truly an artist!

Papillon is great for all ages, but Papillon facials and peels can make a huge difference for women in their 40’s and beyond. After just a few visits I could see a real difference, and you just feel better about yourself due to the amazing improvements in the tone and texture of your skin. Papillon skin treatments haven’t eliminated my wrinkles of course, but they have smoothed and minimized them and helped my complexion look better than it has in years!
Papillon also carries their own line of skin care products, and they really do make a difference. I have sensitive skin, and I have never had any problems with their products. They work better than most of the products I have tried, and I’ve tried quit a few!
Also, Henry specialize in makeup. So be sure to take advantage of his experise and ask him to show you some new makeup techniques. He has made a huge difference for me, and I’m sure he can do the same for you!
