Lena and I landed in south Florida this afternoon and we were both starving. The first thing we wanted to do was go and get some good«island» or «South American» food. We found this place on Unilocal and it had great reviews. It was not busy, it had a nice view of the beach from the window and the food was good. I have Not had much Peruvian food to compare it to, but I thought it was very tasty. Not mind blowing, but good. Relatively expensive, probably not expensive for this area. Lena had paella and I had a sort of skirt steak. We also enjoyed some Sangria. I would say it was well Worth it, but a bit expensive over all. It was a 55 dollar lunch, but in the end: worth it. This is my first time in Hollywood beach and I’m very excited about the new food scene here.

This was my best find during my recent trip to Hollywood. Skirt steak and side dishes were delicious. This will Definately be my go to restaurant whenever I am in Hollywood. Also tasted the lamb shank which was out of this world!

My favorite place in Hollywood. The wait staff is lovely and attentive, the prices are great, the food is healthy, and the chef is excellent. What more could you ask?

Pacha mama had been one of my favorite restaurants in this area. Every time I came to Hollywood Beach I would eat here, this time was a total disappointment. The quinoa soup, the pargo frito, the pescado sudado were insipid, flavorless, and simply bad. They must have lost their former chef when they were closed for 2 months of renovations. Just hoping they find a good chef again. I wish them luck, I might just give them a try in a few months again.

We have been trying to eat here for awhile. Since the construction of margarita is over we finally ate here! Superb, very clean and cozy. You see the ocean from your table. Wait staff is great, chefs look professional. Definitely coming back, thank you! Update **** 1÷31÷16 this is our families weekend lunch/dinner spot. I have a seven month baby and always drag a stroller. The staff is great they have always helped me wheel in and out. To the yellpers who said their water was empty, and service was horrible I disagree. Unless it is super busy, the limited staff makes every effort to cater to you. My water was filled under 5 minutes, plates were cleared. They even took my baby bottles and washed them. Also chief was kind enough to steam sweet potato for my baby. I love this place! Will be frequent with my family. Thank you

We stopped here for lunch — I’m not very familiar with Peruvian food and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She brought out some toasted Peruvian corn as a complementary starter. The ceviche was really delicious and spicy, and the portions are really generous. Wish I would have saved room for dessert because they looked very tempting too!

Super friendly staff. The waitress explained the menu patiently and made honest recommendations(instead of the common«everything is tasty» crap) We got the ceviche mixto(mixed seafood ceviche) and pargo frito(Whole fried red snapper) with black bean and tomato/onion salad. The seafood and salad all taste very fresh and seasoned perfectly. I’m not a big fan of fishes in general but this red snapper is very sweet, tender and seasoned with spices. Both my wife and I lamented that we are too squeamish to eat the head whereas our parents will quickly devour the head and probably spine as well. Great experience, definitely one of the highlights of our Miami trip.

It’s really a surprise to find in the middle of the Hollywood Boardwalk such a nice pleasant restaurant, it’s modern clean, great service and the food it’s just exquisite. Location can not be better, my wife and I always walk by the beach and this restaurant will be a mustt stop for now and on. The seafood is tasty and fresh, you have to try any of the ceviches or the amazing Pargo entero.

My family stopped here last night. Food was 5-Star. Service was 2-Star. We just came from a trip to Peru so we know that service is typically a bit slower. But… Several times our drinks/water were empty and we asked for more and then had to ask again. My dinner came a full 20 minutes after the rest of the table. Owner/manager was unaware/indifferent to the situation and did not check on the satisfaction of his diners(he was located right by our table) An apology or offer of a drink would have been appreciated. All dishes were well cooked and flavorful.

It was so good that we went twice during our 3 day trip to Hollywood. The fish(lightly fried) appetizer was fantastic, sorry I can’t recall the exact name. The green soup was perfect, and all the other dishes were all superb. We will definitely go back any time we are within 100 miles of the restaurant

Awesome flavor in the seafood stew. Extremely reasonable prices and friendly service. The seafood mix was definitely frozen for a while(didn’t taste super fresh) so that was the one down side, but overall it didn’t matter because the stew itself was delicious. Worth a visit and their side of minty spicy sauce is unique/tasty.

Good selection of authentic Peruvian cuisine that is very fresh and tasty, presented in an appealing manner. For me a good way to rate how much I like a Peruvian place is by trying their Ceviche which is my favorite of their dishes. The Ceviche I had here was a little pricey for the portion but that was remedied by the freshness of the ingredients, but I must say it did lack flavor in the«Leche de tigere» that is the sauce it marinates in. I sat outside which was nice like most of the other places on the boardwalk, the service was fairly swift and the restaurant seemed to be just as simple as most of the others on the side streets. I would come back.

Excellent peruvian restaurant. We order the tiradito ceviche which was amazing, big portion and delicious. Also the yuquitas a la huancaina was very good. The service is superb, and the prices very fair. Very nice place tobeat in the heart of Hollywood Beach. We will return.

I’m going to be a Pachamanka dissenter here. The food is good, not great. Inca’s Kitchen in Naples is the powerhouse in Peruvian. Victoria’s in Lantana also has this place beat hands-down. The octopus appetizer was tender tasty, but cold in spots as it had been sitting before service, which is weird as we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. I ordered the Seafood a lo Macho, which was remarkable in that the«grilled» fish was fried, and was amazingly tough. I had to hack through it, an experience I’ve never had with fish before. Their handy«tip caculator» does the low-class no-no of calculating the tip based on the total rather than the sub-total(You are tipping on the sales tax as well as your meal). The service was okay. I had to ask for water and other basics which, if the lone waitress was busy, would be okay, but again, we ended up being just one of three tables, and at the time I needed it we were the only ones in the restaurant. It’s a tough location. Your GPS will take you to the hotel construction site. Once the new Margaritaville Hotel across the courtyard opens, it will be easier to get to. You will still need to park up a block North and walk back as Johnson Street in that area has been sealed up and turned into walking space and the hotel’s driveway. It’s a long way to go for pretty adequate food. They serve a purple corn drink which may be the Kool Aid that the Unilocalers are drinking.

Pretty tasty Peruvian faire hidden amongst the excitement of the Hollywood Boardwalk. Get here early as it’s very small and a table is hard to come by! It’s at the end of an unassuming alley that gets lost in the hubbub of the new Margaritaville that’s being built but it’s worth the trek. As a former visitor to the great country of Peru, the food was pretty authentic. Their sangria was also delicious! This is a fun dinner restaurant after a long day on the beach to kick back and enjoy some good food with friends. Don’t expect the service to be stellar, but they are very friendly!

Great service, family oriented restaurant, and food was very good and came very quickly. For those who are visiting Hollywood Florida, this place is right by the boardwalk and is a bit hidden away as Johnson Street is under construction, so could be hard to find, but still, it’s worth it. I got the lamb shank, which, as other Unilocalers indicated, was huge and tasty. It fell off the bone and soaked with yummy sauces. The ceviche misto as an appetizer was quite fresh and had a kick, very refreshing. The best part was the purple corn drink. I’ve ever had it before. I don’t think I’ve seen them before either. It was quite amazingly good and not too sweet, which I was afraid of. If I had a party of four or more, I’d totally order the fried seafood platter. It looked astonishingly good with the bountiful of calamari and other goodies. I saw it being served at the table next to me, for a party of six. Of course, the added bonus was obvious, you are right by the beach. Do what I did, take a leisurely stroll and walk back to your hotel. Don’t über it. Savor the view and digest the wonderful food you just consumed. Worth every calorie.

So good! The service was friendly and the prices are very reasonable given the size of the dishes. The tacu tacu con pollo saltado was super tasty, as was the aji de gallina. Causa de langosta had the right flavor. Firmer potatoes and a little more heat would’ve made it a perfect ten. For dessert, the lucuma ice cream was homemade and had an icy texture from the lucuma purée. While it wasn’t creamy like the store bought stuff, it had the rich butterscotch flavor of lucuma. A dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce complete this delicious package. The picarones are also worth saving room for. The only downside to this place is that they don’t have pisco. We will be back for more! delicious!
