Sansushito is my favorite restaurant to go for Peruvian ceviche. They offer the best price in downtown Hollywood. They also have peruvian specialized sushi that is out of this world.

I really would like to give this 4.5 stars. We were just delighted with this homey, friendly, neighborhood place with amazingly reasonable prices. The owners, Stephanie and Bruno were gracious and welcoming. They are enthusiastic about their food, as well they should be. The fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors is spot on. We shared the«Causaki» appetizer, their version of a traditional causa. The layers of soft potato filled with fried shrimp and avocado was topped with their aji amarillo sauce and thinly sliced crispy wonton. Wonderful flavors and textures. You can get the maki rolls in 5 piece or 10 piece portions. They offer regular maki or «makis criollos» which are Peruvian style rolls. Here is where I deducted half of a star. All the regular rolls have cream cheese. I, for one have never understood cream cheese in sushi; but that’s me. No problem… he made it without for us. We had the Maguro Roll with tuna and avocado with a slice of tuna tataki on top with a lovely sauce, the Picante de Langostino roll made of shrimp cooked in a delicious spicy creamy Peruvian pepper sauce and a Ceviche Roll from the Criollo menu. That one had a sauce and was topped with strings of crispy sweet potatoes. Don’t look for the usual soy sauce and wasabi. These rolls are served with a tray of 3 delicious sauces; limon, aji amarillo, and nikkei. What fun to try the different rolls in different sauces to create different flavors. All were delicious. The Picante de Langostino is quite spicy and paired beautifully with the nikkei sauce which is on the sweet side. This was one of those times when after we ate, wished we were hungry so we could begin again. There are a bunch of lovely menu items we will definitely be back to try.

their shrimp sandwich is good, fried with panko and a sauce they put on too that makes it balanced to the palad

I went here twice this week with my family. Nice cozy little spot. The service was excellent. A very nice young couple tended to us, the owners I think. The causa was the best I’ve had, sorry mom. The ceviche and fried rice was excellent also. I will be back many times.

It’s hard to find Peruvian sushi in Miami that is good and reasonably priced. We drove all the way from Doral to give it a try. The owners, a young couple, were the ones who served us and with great enthusiasm and hospitality made our lunch very pleasing. We hope to see them succeed and open more locations. The place is a bit small but with the right clients, the great food and service they already have, I’m sure they will grow!

Food here is very tasty from the different sushi rolls, to the«criollo rolls» and their amazing ceviche. The mixture between sushi and peruvian cuisine really works out. If you are in the mood for a quick bite, light yet tasty and affordable you gotta try this please!!! My favorite in downtown Hllwd. *thumbs up*

Tasteless sushi, very disappointed given it had good reviews. I don’t want to judge just by one visit, but the sushi was the same quality as the one you can buy in Publix… I was expecting something better… maybe the peruvian food they have is better.

Food was good. Just upsetting I can’t order delivery before 6pm. They could make more money.

I don’t care what anyone says, this is the best culinary idea since sliced bread. The acevichado roll is to die for the ceviche is out of this world and don’t get me started on their sauteed beef fish, lomo saltado. 5 stars, hands down a great experience.

This restaurant is a total fail. Eating in is impossible as the place is small, uncomfortable, and smells funky. Ordering take-out/delivery is useless because they can’t get it together to adhere to their own delivery guidelines. Placed an order at 8pm. Was notified it would take 45 – 60 minutes. After an hour I checked to see how much longer and was informed they were running behind but that the order was«on it’s way». 30 minutes later? Still no food. I live less than a mile from this restaurant. There is no traffic between here and there. Wound up canceling my order as I could not wait any longer. Who knows when it would arrive. It’s a shame. The menu looks tasty and Unilocal reviews are positive. Me? Not impressed.

There’s so much to share about this place! Where to begin? First of, I love the Peruvian and sushi mix they have created at the location! Peruvian food is amazing and so is sushi! Combined they are a full on mouth orgasm! They have so many unique combinations for every taste! My favorite roll was definitely the acevichado roll. The white sauce was just amazing with the roll! Besides that my favorite rolls were the aji de gallina roll and the lomo saltado roll! Peruvian food is mainly known by the lomo saltado and the creation of the lomo saltado into a roll is just amazing! Besides rolls my favorite dishes were the Causaki and lomo saltado oriental! Trust me on this: You must try those 2 dishes! The Causaki is like a causa rellena but is just better than that! And the lomo oriental, omg that is heaven on a plate! Literally! If you are a fan of lomo saltado then you will love the lomo saltado oriental! The beef they use in the lomo saltado oriental is so delicious! Service was great, our server was very attentive and nice! The décor of the place is super cute! Love the color combinations! I will definitely come back to this great restaurant for more Peruvian rolls!

This place is really good for take out only! I went there once to eat inside and it had a funky smell. It must be from all the cleaners to keep it clean with all the fish floating around. It was awfully hard to get my appetite going. I did enjoy the ceviche! I ordered it spicy, that’s how I like it. The prices are very reasonable! Definitely give it a try people!
