The chefs and menu have changed a bit since I was last here. Everything I tried was very good. Not too salty, with nice light flavors.

Big fan! Haven’t had noodles this authentic in FL. Avocado fries delish… Must try Shoyu and spicy curry ramen.

I’m very rarely in Hollywood, so when I was in the area today & craving ramen, I was stoked to discover that GoBistro, with it’s nearly perfect rating, was right around the corner from me. My first thought upon walking through the front door was how relaxed & inviting the vibe was inside; I was greeted right away & ushered over to a small bench-seat table. Being a fan of fried avocado, I knew I wanted to taste me some of those avocado fries & then quickly decided upon the veggie tofu ramen for the main event(I very rarely partake in tofu & usually stay away from soy products, but I had a wild hair tonight & decided to go for it anyways). The avocado fries were served with some sort of spicy mayo dipping sauce & were quite tasty. My ramen was just ok & looked to have a layer of oil floating atop the broth. To be honest, I can fancy up a $.25 bag of ramen noodles from the grocery store & would prefer it over this $ 12 bowl of ramen. That being said though, the ramen really wasn’t that bad & I’m not at all opposed to visiting GoBistro again should me & my ramen cravings ever find ourselves in the area again. The service was great & having a carafe of freshly iced water on my table earned bonus points in my book.

This place is located in Hollywood with ok parking… I was lucky! No valet, and the street is crowded… The place is ok. Nothing special… Simple and homey… Food is better that I thought! Wakame, average… Avocado fries, quite nice… Over«unhealthy» for my taste, but they arrive so soon that you just eat!!! Did not have sushi, so next time I will rate it… Ramen soup… Looks better than it is… Do not get me wrong, it is good, but could improve in flavor… Chef, go to work there… We had the veggie soup! Place is ok and looks clean… Service quite nice! Enjoy

I hadn’t even heard of this place before but my friend was REALLY excited to stop by. She had heard a lot about this place and really hyped it up on our way over to Hollywood. Unfortunately, though I was expecting a lot by the time I got there, I left feeling kind of… meh. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen, which I can see gets a lot of love here on Unilocal. While I did enjoy the ramen a lot, it wasn’t the best ramen I had ever had. The pork belly, though, was fantastic. My friend had miso soup and the pork buns. She liked her miso soup and said that the tofu«exploded with flavor»(lol not sure what she meant) but she didn’t like the pork buns :(I tried them and thought they were pretty good(and pretty generous with the pork) but, again, didn’t leave me thinking I’d come back for them. One thing that I WOULD come back for was the cookies and cream fried buns we had for dessert. They were great! As much as I love buns on their own, fried buns are pretty darn good — we need more of them! Another upside — the sake(during happy hour) is a pretty generous size for only $ 4! Nice! On top of all of this, the service was give and take. The servers in the restaurant were very nice, but we noticed that every single table had to ask for their check. Womp, womp. Overall — not bad, but not amazing. I wasn’t blown away but I also wasn’t severely disappointed. Might have to come back and give a few other items a try next time! This place can’t have such consistently great reviews for nothin’!

I eat here all the time but never really during the day. So I thought I’d try something new, their ‘Chicken Bun’ and it was AMAZING Imagine a BLT with boneless, crispy, fried chicken, smothered in sweet and savory sauce, on a warm, soft, dough like bun. They have many other flavors and if you order it with a side of lemonade it make the perfect Lunch

After 4 – 5 visits, I must say the service is starting to lack so much that I have to leave another review. Several visits in general the waitresses have been inattentive, to the point where I feel like I’m bothering them by eating there. I used to be the biggest fan of this place, but our latest visits may have been the straw that broke the camels back. On one occasion we had a blond waitress that was absolutely rude, ignored us, and got our order wrong. On another occasion they were«training» a new waitress, but honestly I wondered if they were trolling us. For example, She asked me literally on four separate occasions(back & forth from the table) whether i wanted my green tea hot or iced and when she finally brought it out she forgot the sugar. Then she got our order wrong and I ended up waiting 5 – 8 minutes after everyone enjoyed their food to finally enjoy my chicken yakitori.

How have I not gotten to reviewing this place? Shame. In the last month my boyfriend and I have become major regulars. It’s certainly a bit of a drive for us(half an hour) yet we’ve been driving to this hole in the wall spot just about every week since we found it. Here’s why: Fantastic service. Super friendly staff. Very attentive. That’s ideal. Great food. AWESOMEFOOD.(Hold for details) They are open until 2am and have fantastic prices. You really can’t beat that. On the food: We’ve had– pork belly buns which are melt in your mouth kind of good. Close your eyes for a moment and picture your fantasy pork belly bun. That sexy fatty body(in all the right places) those fluffy right sized buns. Umph. I’ll stop right there. The avocado fries– a simple yet delicious delight. Meets standards. The sushi/tuna/sashimi all phenomenally fresh tasting and appealing. From my experience hard to find locally. The ramen… I had the pork broth based(tonkatsu???) with… yes…extra egg on that ****. Ramen is slurp worthy. I thought I’d never be satisfied with ramen after some of the places I’ve had on my visits to New York. My prayers have been answered. It comes close. All in all so impressed. A little late night desperation for at least some decent non fast food cuisine brought us to gobistro and this little place is way beyond my original expectations. Catch us there on the weekly!

After having this bookmarked for a while, finally got a chance to try this place. Came in for a late lunch and we still made it for the lunch specials. We got the sashimi, tonkotsu ramen, a spider roll and ice cream in a fried bun. Prices were reasonable and food was fresh and tasty. My only requirement for fish is that it looks and taste fresh and this met my standards. The ramen is supposed to be a best seller here and it definitely filled a much needed void in South Florida. The broth is pretty similar to the ones in NY, but the noodles were not up to par. It’s definitely a good intro. The cookies and cream ice cream stuffed between two fried buns was pretty good. It’s similar to tempura ice cream, but with a fresh twist. Overall, this restaurant is a bit small with several tables along the wall and some seats at the sushi bar. Servers were friendly and attentive and food was great. There is also quite a selection of sake to choose from. I would definitely come back to try the appetizers.

I love this adorable restaurant. It’s pretty small so it’s difficult to accommodate groups larger than 6. The service is always friendly but sometimes takes a while to get some attention on busy nights Bc they only have a few servers. The are retry well know for their ramen. My favorite is the curry ramen. It’s spicy, the broth is rich and it’s perfect! The portions are pretty good, the ramen comes with pork belly, mushrooms, and a perfect half soft boiled egg. I’ve also had the yellowtail jalapeño dish which is also yummy. Lunch is a good time to come because they have some specials on the ramen and sushi !

Every time i eat here They deliver and i don’t care about the place its really edgy and CASUAL I come here to eat noT to stay the night chill or to be «serve» and i always eat the same. Avocado fries shrimp tempura and tonkotsu ramen. ONLY place ive gone that seats you so fast and that gives you water whithout having to order or PAY for it! If you are looking for a casual place to have a different experience this is the right place for you.

We came here for dinner during a Hollywood outing since many of our friends haven’t ventured out here before(it’s always either WPB, FTL or Miami), and after a long shift in the ER I was ready to chow down. We split some avocado fries and half-and-half gangnam wings to start. In my opinion, the fries were good, but not amazing like many of the reviews claim. They had a nice crunch and were piping hot. On the other hand, the portion amounted to around one avocado, they probably should’ve been drained of the oil a little more, and the sauce was just your typical spicy mayo. The flavors went well with the avocado(probably why it’s used often in sushi rolls), but wasn’t anything astounding. The wings were crispy despite being smothered with sauce, which I found to be a tad heavy on the soy. Neither the ginger nor the spicy flavors made it through unfortunately. Next, some of us got the tonkotsu ramen while the rest got the curry ramen. The curry ramen was definitely the better of the two. The broth had a good balance of spicy and curry flavor, close to the ramen I’m used to eating. I even put some of it in my tonkotsu ramen hoping that might help it taste better. The tonkotsu ramen was just not a winner. Those of us that got it found it to be milky, smoky, and salty. Just a weird amalgamation of flavors. I had to stop eating it halfway through, because the salt just became too much for me. The pork was delicious and extremely tender, to the point where some of it just disintegrated while still in the bowl. I’m still trying to decide if that’s a good or bad thing. On a side note, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff. They were friendly and quick to replenish our water(god knows we needed it with all that salt). There was a slight mix-up with the wings earlier on, but the entire meal went smoothly otherwise. Overall, I would mark this place as a disappointment, although I know others in our group would likely give higher ratings. I may have been able to excuse the flavors of the ramen(everyone has different tastes), but the salt overload preventing me from eating it is a total no-no.

Been coming to this place for a very long time, the ramen isn’t the same wich(tonkotsu)wich was my top choice. the last three times I was disappointed, any one who has been going to this place as long as I have will say that it’s not the same, you can tell it’s not made with love or care. My noodles were over cooked or the broth was watery, there’s no consistency. On a lighter note the sushi is still great it’s still made by Vic the sushi chef,

I will get straight to the food. This is a solid place to get your ramen fix. The pork belly buns are a must to start with. The bun was surprisingly filling. There was a generous amount of pork belly in it, not too fatty which is what I prefer. Great flavor too. The Gangnam wings were awesome. You can choose the ginger soy flavor or spicy or both, which is what we did. I was tempted to order the Tonkotsu Ramen, but felt a little adventurous and ordered the Curry Ramen instead. No regrets with that one. Very good. The curry flavor was just right and not overpowering. Went for lunch on a Saturday and found parking right up front. There was only one other table of customers during our entire time there. I have gone for dinner before and being the small restaurant that it is, it can feel really cramped. No problems for lunch though. The service was attentive. We had two women waiting on us. The food was brought out fairly quick and so did drink refills and the check. However, it is also because of the service and overall feel that prevented me from giving this place a five. The severs didn’t engage in any conversation at all and felt a bit cold. It was strictly pick up and drop off at the table. They stared alot. enough to worth mentioning. I looked up a few times and awkwardly locked eyes. Perhaps if they smiled back it would have been less awkward?

12⁄1 –Pretty good food at a reasonable price. Not a place I would come and bring a date or friends. I would come here alone, sit at the bar, order food, eat there or take it to go. Don’t expect much more than that. Walked in here around 7:30 p.m. It is a small restaurant. There were about three tables with patrons. No tables for two people but we saw a table for six people available. We walked towards the table and the server/hostess came from the back and asked if we minded seating at the bar. I though… maybe it is reserved. So, we sat at the bar in the middle… BADAREA. The view was obstructed by a wall and sakes in a row at the top. To our right, it is the server’s station… I’ll get to that. The waitress/hostess gives us menus. It is not a complicated menu, one page, front and back. Another waitress comes by and asked if we were ready. We tell her to please give us a minute so she did. We decided on Asahi Dry($ 5) and a Sapporo($ 5) Beers. I order the«Bistro Favorite» PORKBELLYBUNS w/cucumber, pickled onions & scallions($ 9) and my friend orders the«Bistro Favorite» CURRYRAMEN, spicy Malaysian laksa curry broth w/scallions, bamboo, nori & nitamago egg(pork belly)($ 13). These are actually the two dishes featured in their website. I highly recommend both dishes. The Pork Belly Buns were AMAZING, just melt in your mouth. It is very filling as well. The Curry Ramen Broth was very spicy for my taste but really flavorful. It is quite a big bowl, if you are hungry(or getting over a cold) this is your dish… ***SERVICE: Mediocre. We were greeted, and served by 3 different waitresses. These women were right next to us the entire time(remember to our right was the servers station) talking, chatting it up and on their phones. They need a course on Customer Service and Proper Etiquette. We were not asked if we wanted another beer, another entrée, nothing. ***RESTAURANT: Looked and felt DIRTY to me. Not a place I would order sushi. We walked to the back of the restaurant to use the only bathroom in the establishment and looking around I did not want to touch anything. It looked pretty messy all the way back there. Coming back we passed by the kitchen and saw the dishwasher person with all the dishes in a bucket… near the kitchen area where the Chefs were passing the food to the overly chatty waitresses. EEEWWW! And by the way, that table we couldn’t sit at, was empty the entire night… Not Reserved!

Total. Ramen. Bliss. Stopped by on a cloudy and damp Saturday afternoon. Seating is limited here so keep that in mind when stopping by. I was starving so I ordered a few apps for the table while waiting for the rest of my group to show up. I ordered: avocado fries, wings(½ spicy & ½ ginger flavored), and the pork belly buns(gua bao). The buns looked so delicious that I grabbed it first and took an obnoxious bite; huge mistake! Learn from my mistake people and let the piping hot buns cool off first, lol. Anyway, the buns were delicious! They were slathered in their braising liquid so it made for extra messy eating fun. Next up, the tonkotsu ramen in all it’s pork broth glory! I love how they didn’t skimp on the fix-ins so the bowl had the perfect ratio of noodle to toppings. The broth was rich in flavor and most importantly not over salted, which other ramen shops seem to do. My partner’s curry ramen had the nice balance of spice and heat; definitely wouldn’t mind ordering that again. Service was quick, attentive, and unobtrusive.

My new favorite restaurant in South Florida. We went for lunch and ordered the Curry Ramen which was phenomenal! It was the perfect combination of flavors!!! Oh my my my my my! The broth was so flavorful. I was debating so hard between the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Curry Ramen. I was very tempted to get the Tonkotsu Ramen since it was on the lunch menu, but I followed my Foodie instincts and went with the Curry! I would HIGHLY recommend the CURRYRAMEN to anybody and everybody! The second dish we ordered was the Gangham Style Wings, half spicy /half ginger sweet. There were the perfect balance and a definite 10⁄10! The donut tower was huge and excellent. I was originally overwhelmed when the waiting brought it over to our table. But, I easily took down half of the tower because the donuts were light. Overall: Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC. Curry Ramen, Wings, Donuts 10⁄10. Can’t wait to return. Enjoy!

When GoBistro ended up on the 15 Must Try Dishes In BPB list, I had to come check it out. Even though it is the hottest summer I can remember… I still came in to try the Ramen. Attending with some friends — and their baby… we decided to sit outside since the inside isn’t that large. It was actually pretty nice outside and besides the mosquitos, it’s kinda nice to dine al fresco. Tonkotsu Ramen — This is the reason we came… and it didn’t disappoint. I totally agree this is a must have dish in BPB. Fresh off a trip to Japan, I will admit this one rivaled the amazing ramen I had in Tokyo. It has a thick, rich pork broth, noodles, and 3 – 4 slices of pork belly. The pork belly was so good, it almost melts in your mouth. It’s a massive serving for just $ 12. Fried avocado — We started with these bad boys and they were done perfectly. It comes with a spicy mayo. Wings — We went with the half and half of spicy & ginger. The spicy were REALLY spicy, but couldn’t stop eating them. The ginger ones were even better — without the kick. I suggest getting the half and half if you are a wing fan. Doughnuts — We wrapped up the meal with some doughnuts. Well, a doughnut tower. They were served warm with condensed milk sauce. REALLYGOOD! Everything was washed down with some beer! They had a nice Japanese stout, that I’d never had before. It was solid. The service was awesome. They offered up great recommendations, were super attentive and refilled water cups in a timely manner. It was a great weekend meal, and we will be back soon!

Tl;dr: MUST. TRY. haha. Especially if you like ramen, noodles, or sustained yourself during college on instant noodle packs! The boy and I don’t often venture out to Hollywood — due to the long drive and all — but this place was worth it! :D Their food is incredibly savory and tasty. :) their service was great(our waitress was sweet!) and the ambiance of the restaurant is modern and cozy. Plus! Free parking = love. :) So the food itself: — Pork belly buns: this was soooooo delicious. The bun is soft(not stale like some places where I’ve been), the pork belly serving size is super generous! The flavor is über tasty. You will be licking your fingers clean with this one(who needs napkins??) haha. — Chicken wings: these remind me of the Korean/Bön Chon style wings. Super crispy and then coated in(you pick) sweet or spicy sauce. Also super savory! — Tonkotsu ramen: we ordered this with an extra egg(yay soft boiled!) and extra pork belly. The pork belly is soooo tender. The broth is flavorful, but a bit salty for me ^^; the noodles helps to even it out, but it gets a bit much for me after a while. However, I also tend to be more sensitive to salt than the boy — Green Tea Crème Brûlée: truly epic. Love. Love. Love. As a matchaholic, I can say that this is smooth, creamy, green tea goodness. Stop reading and just order one already! Haha :) will be back!

Found this place on a simple Unilocal search in Hollywood for Asian cuisine. The menu seemed to have a good variety of sushi, fusion and ramen. This is a casual spot with some TVs a small bar and tables. They don’t have a lot of choices as far as liquor, but they have an extensive sake menu. I had a plum flavor one that was refreshing, We started off with the baby octopus which was delicious! It had a smoky flavor and came with 3 on a skewer. We also ordered the pork belly buns which were 2 soft sandwiches full of flavor. We got a couple of sushi rolls and a vegetable ramen. The sushi was average and the ramen was pretty good. The noodles themselves were my favorite part. I saw another persons ramen come out that looked more flavorful than mine. Next time I will go for a pork or curry one. The food was good and we were full. I would come back in the cooler months(if we ever get any here) and enjoy a nice warm bowl of ramen!
