I hate Subway; in fact, I abominate all fast-food chains. However, I met up with a friend here after work and decided to chill after a long day. The employees at this Subway are super cool and friendly, and I’m writing this review, because I was surprised to see a one star review based on the service. Indeed, Melissa V’s rant on the employee who called her ‘Papi’ or ‘Mami’ is somewhat understandable, but that’s what happens when you: A) are paying for a «$ 4.00» sandwich B) live in a very multicultural society C) encounter someone who’s getting paid $ 7.00 an hour Also, she wasn’t «ignoring» your order, as she was preparing your sandwich, right? Back to my story — Fortuitously, the ‘papi-employee’ took my friends order and was very careful to detail, even asking if he wanted anything extra and so on. That employee happens to be a well-liked guy(there’s no girl in that Subway who calls patrons ‘papi’, I can assure you that) — opening up to anyone as he makes your sandwich. Oh yeah, and I’m writing this review at Subway, while my friend is eating and saying how the sandwich and service kicked butt, so this 5 star review goes to you ‘papi-employee’ and your great service.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Hollywood, FL
While we were still exploring Hollywood as newbies, we continued our mission to search for the nearest Subway. The closest one didn’t have seating available, just for take out. So, we moved on and settled to this one here. As you enter, there will be a hallway and the counter is literally one block away from the door. They had some $ 4 dollar sandwiches, and we were almost getting happy with the price. until they started our sandwiches the wrong way. My sandwich would have been ready, but they thought it was complicated… Before toasting, I ask them to put on the cheese those three condiments: salt and pepper, oregano. they kept forgetting to do that and moved on to another sandwich and told the other worker to do it and I had to repeat it over again. Then, a girl was starting on Ralphie’s sandwich(Meatball Marinara with pepperoni). He asked her to put everything just like the picture was shown. Pepperoni first, then the meatballs, and THEN the cheese so that it can be melted… but nooo, the girl put the meatballs first. by accident. then went, «Papi, I can’t take it off and start that over — we have other customers…» She literally refused go with the way he wanted. Then, the guy also said, «Papi, it cannot be done that way» and to move on. Then, they moved on to other people without finishing ours. Mine was by that time out of the toast machine and was about to get some toppings and be done. Then, Ralphie went. «you know what? I can’t do this. They talk over me and then refuse to give me the sandwich I want. And letting other people before ours is done. Let’s leave.» Then, the guy and that lady both got all annoyed, of course. I don’t mind our friends calling us Papi or Mami, really, but we didn’t want to be THOSE people’s Mami or Papi. They didn’t wanna do their jobs and those affectionate words were unnecessary. How would you feel like being called«honey» by some shady employee that ignores your order? This place needs a new manager.
