This was a delightful find off the beaten path. My husband and I stopped in at lunchtime wanting breakfast and Felix, a lovely man with a winning smile and a quiet manner, was happy to comply. We had breakfast sandwiches with bacon on Cuban bread, and they were delicious, cooked perfectly by the other very personable and meticulous chef. I had a Cuban coffee that was half espresso and half milk and still very strong the way I like it. And we shared a fresh squeezed orange juice that we watched Felix prepare from several huge oranges… Yummy! We will remember this tiny café and return to it if we come to Homestead(from Maine) again.

Small unpretentious cafeteria. 2 guys just cooking up some good stuff. Husband and I live down the street, we’d seen this place before but never knew if it was open. On a red light stop I saw the sign said open, looked at my husband and we thought why not. Came in, not much was happening we were the only ones there. Ordered breakfast and then let them do their thing. Got a nice homemade big breakfast. Nice freshly squeezed in front of us orange juice. Don’t know what they have going on for lunch. But looking forward to trying it soon. All they need is an extractor cause you will be smoky by the end of your meal with the cooking going on.
