I got the buffalo shrimp salad, it was good! But I would have to say for the price $ 16.00 it should’ve come with some bread, a drink, something! The shrimp are little and for $ 16 I think the salad should be either a little bigger or more shrimp. BUT it was tasty!

Today was my first visit. I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad… fresh, very good. Nice atmosphere and good customer service. So many good items on menu that I wanted to try… I’ll be back for sure!

Made a stop here for dinner on our drive to Michigan. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I ordered the shrimp flatbread and it was delicious. My friends ordered the braised short rib and waffle (loved it) and the smokehouse bacon burger (also loved it). Awesome place and the environment was casual and fun. Would certainly recommend to others!

I visited Grady’s Grille once and can’t seem to stop visiting. The restaurant has a very comfortable setting with a professional and friendly staff. I’ve only tried 1 dish and 1 drink each time I go, but it’s SOOOOOO yummy! I said I would try something else each time, but never do. The drink is the White Sangria and the food is the Blackened Catfish. If you haven’t been… what are you waiting for!

Grady’s has great customer service and a really good variety in their menu. I have never been disappointed with my food. We have gone there with our son on numerous occasions and they have always been very accommodating. This last time they gave my son play dough and a list of things to create. Very cool! Kept him busy. He ate every bit of his Mac and cheese and oranges.
For New Years Eve I tried the short rib waffle. It was good but probably not something I would try again. I have had some excellent salads too. Very good local restaurant with really good customer service!

We went Wednesday night and as usually the staff was on point. I wanted to try something different and went with the shrimp and grits. I will just say this, way to much marinara and not enough food for the price. The meal just sat in the middle of the oversized plate. The marinara overtook everything else to the point that when I was done there was still a plate of sauce. I can’t call it a bad experience (because we had a great time and the staff was great as usual) but I will call it a bad choice/dish. I’m definitely going back but I would suggest you avoid this dish.

I’ve been here a number of times (about 10) and I am always impressed! this is definitely in the top few restaurants in Homewood. The menu is diverse and each item my wife or I have ordered always has something unique that sets it apart. Great burgers, fish or shrimp tacos, and a lobster Mac n cheese have been some of our favorites. They always have 2 or 3 specials which they bring to your table for you to see. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Come here if you want good food and something different than the chain restaurants!

Good side: Grady’s Grille makes great sandwiches. Their salads are pretty good.
Bad side/s: They don’t have the most accomodating or welcoming hosting staff, the food is overpriced, and it isn’t good.
We walked in and were overlooked several times when picking up a wayyyy overpriced to-go order. They seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered with us.
On the phone, they explained that the shrimp tacos were great and very popular. However, they were probably the grossest tacos I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t finish them. No one in my family would eat them so I had to throw them out. My husband felt bad for me and shared his steak sandwich with me. Clearly, being from California, I have had great tacos. But, they were sweet like bad Asian fusion tacos. And, they weren’t seasoned well.
We won’t be going back. It’s priced too high and doesn’t even taste good.

Every time that we eat at Grady’s, we are always impressed with the fresh food and choices on the menu. I had the Korean BBQ Beef tacos the last time we were there and they were just right!

THE GOOD:
Impeccable Service
Perfect Outdoor summer ambiance
Food and ingredients are Fresh!
Drinks were made strong enough
Clean restaurant and restrooms
Play dough is given to kids at table to keep them entertained, Awesome idea!
THE BAD:
We were a bigger group, but Food and Drinks took too long to get to table.
Chicken soup that is so simple to make tasted out of the can.
Menu was on the smaller side.
Overall we had a very positive experience and will be back.

Went for the 1^st time. called ahead for a pick up order. I orders the Shrimp salad which was delicious. I wish they didn’t use iceberg lettuce. it cheapened it. Spinach or Mixed Greens would’ve been more worth me paying $ 15. The 6 shrimp was a good size so no complaint there.
they gave a good menu so will try something else oh my next visit.

Male server was great, food was mediocre at best. Ordered the Asian tacos, nothing Asian about them. Cold flour tortilla, shrimp, and tasted like tostidos salsa was poured on top. Worst I’ve ever had. Kids cheese flatbread was good. I would go back and try something else because customer server was great and kids loved the play doh…
Maybe I’ll have better luck IF there’s a next time.

Never a disappointment!
My buddy had the Talapia and I had the corned beef sandwich this time around. Actually they don’t offer a corned beef sandwich, it was a Reuben sandwich minus the sauerkraut (Yuk! not a fan!).
Needless to say our server Carly was most attentive and exceptional, as was the food!
The south suburbs has been in need of a great restaurant with an extensive menu and reasonable prices for quite some time now and it looks like the ghost of Grady Wilson from ‘Sanford & Son’ (who shares the same namesake) has smiled down on us with ‘Grady’s Grille’!

The menu is impressive. I found several items that I would like to try and that’s not easy for me. We will return to try them.
Today I had the Mexican chicken salad and loved it. The combination of flavors worked well. My husband had the blackened tilapia tacos. He found them to lack a little flavor, so he added a bit of ranch dressing to the sandwiches and found them tastier.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious. A definite repeat visit is in order.
I had the fish tacos and the are slamming.
The bar area is not large and only one tv to view at the bar, but there is 2 more located in the restaurant.

Only been there one time, but was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The restaurant has a lot of old photos of Homewood that was very interesting to look at. Even though it was chilly we went, the restaurant has has a great patio to eat outside when warmer weather arrives. Looking forward to enjoying it when the weather breaks.
It wasn’t crowded when we ate their, so the customer service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu for the evening. He answered all of our questions with no problems. To top it off the food was delicious. I ordered some Greek Chicken and my wife ordered the shrimp tacos. Both were outstanding. If you’re in the Homewood area searching for a fresh meal, give it a try.

Grady’s has wonderful burgers, however they lack in other aspects from their menu. I had the BBQ salad the other night and it was not as good as I anticipated it to be. I did have their tortilla soup which was delicious.

Inconsistent at best
The service is lack luster at times… as is the food. The Asian tacos were pretty good; the turkey burger was awful. I tried to speak with the staff and all they wanted to do was argue that people liked their food. There was no concern or offer to fix it. I will not waste my time or money going here again.
