The Lodge at Obexer’s

This place is great! It’s clean, comfortable, contemporary and still has the mountain lodge feel. I enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect for me to ski at the Homewood ski resort and dine at the West Shore Café. It’s only less than 5 minute drive away. The bedding is soft and very comfortable. Aaron the manager/​the only person running the lodge was very responsive. I was able to reach him instantly almost all the times I called and texted. If not, he would respond back a few minutes later. Check-​in/​Check-​out was easy. Parking was easy. The lodge was quiet when I stayed there and that’s how I like it. The room is spacious. Complimentary wifi is nice. Many cable TV channels to watch. I didn’t really need the refrigerator, but there was one in the closet unplugged. The shower area is a little outdated. Everywhere else seems to have been renovated. It would be nice if there was an electric water kettle available in the room. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would be happy to stay at this lodge again next time I visit Homewood.

I like the mix of old-​fashioned Tahoe Lodge with updated amenities. Its a small private place with great beds and somewhat updated bathrooms. There is no lobby so it feels like you are visiting your own private apartment. I like the privacy and convenience and comfort. I will be back.

Best stay ever. Our lodge room was huge, beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Very convenient location and «check-​in/​check-​out», prime location on West Shore. Will definitely stay here again and next time we need a place near Homewood!
