AHHHKIO! Went here 1st time to get lunch, came here because had to use the restroom and I was looking for a food spot after. Anyways I got the 2 choice Orange Chicken and Pineapple Chicken, with Chow Fun. A’olé, both the chicken choices were bunk, I guess you can mess up Orange Chicken. When taste like they lightly battered it and fried it, dried it and then soaked it in orange juice. The Pineapple Chicken was a no go either, dafuq. Only thing was good was the Chow Fun. Lol. Anyways I just hope it doesn’t give me the shits while I’m on the clock.

I would normally write like a 10 billion word review, but this place was a waste of my time, so I would rather not invest any more time. The food sits in warmers like panda express, BUTACTUALLYSITSINTHEWARMERSALLDAY. The beef broccoli was sour. Maybe they put vinegar, or maybe because it was sitting out all day. lol another place that prides itself in making money, not pleasing their customers.

Horrible. My husband ordered me an «Oyster sauce chicken» plate with fried rice. I instead got oyster sauce beef slices like the slices of beef you get at a noodle house. The fried rice was hard and yellow in color. Yep… it looked and tasted like crap!

I should have read the Unilocal reviews! I love Chinese fast food. I can pretty much put up with mediocre stuff, but the food here didn’t have much taste, and it didn’t taste fresh. We went early in the day and the food still had that texture of having sat around for a long time. I ordered chow fun, kung pao chicken and eggplant: It didn’t have much taste. If you decide to eat here make sure you ask for shoyu & mustard. The saving grace of this place is that it’s fast and there is always lots of outdoor seating in the courtyard(s). When I asked someone who works in Restaurant Row here opinion was, «I rather eat at Panda». Me too. 31 Unilocal Challenge: #22/31 Yes Unilocaler Val Y. I’m s-l-o-w-l-y getting there :)

I’ve been here a few times, and agree, it’s not the best place to go around here. It’s only saving grace is that it’s the quickest place to grab a bite if you are in a hurry. Char siu is good. Choose chow fun over the rice or lo mein.

Beijing Express — the only chinese, but fast food, restaurant in Restaurant Row. I still don’t know how they survived, but from several years back of eating at this place, they have improved the taste of their food a little. Before I couldn’t taste anything at all, so I never went back, but my friends told me they had more taste now, so I decided to give it a try again, but I don’t think I’ll chance serving my sons this because the food wasn’t the freshest I’ve eaten. They have choices in the warmers and serve smoothies too: I got the 2 choice place for $ 7.50, which is a little higher than other chinese restaurant, but ok. My friend, though, told me his fried rice was old and stale: Look fun — 3 stars — as the starch — a bit soft, but ok. Not too oily like Panda Express, but not fresh. Shrimp Vegetable — 3 stars — ok, basic with salt. At least they don’t add MSG to it. I’d order this again to not get an MSG rush. Shoyu Pork — 3 stars — the pork was very soft, but it was very salty. Goes best with a lot of rice if you order this, and I think the sauce flowed over to the shrimp vegetable to make it tastier. In all, it’s ok if you’re already at Restaurant Row and don’t want to walk all the way to chinatown. There’s lots of tables around in restaurant row also.

What caught my attention was the brown rice. The food were all piled high as it’s lunch hour and it looked fairly decent. Maybe I was distracted and couldn’t concentrate or somehow hallucinating something edible in front of me. The food was super salty, especially my broccoli and beef. I had the grilled fish and thank goodness this was not so bad at all. I can clearly tell it’s frozen fish, as the cooked fish were still attached onto other pieces of the fillet fish . I haven’t eaten Chinese fast food in years to avoid situations like this. Hell I don’t even go to Panda Express fearing the same outcome. With a 2 item combo, you can spend about $ 7.50 and easily swipe your credit card since there’s a minimum of some sort. Well, you live and you learn and next time I won’t be so desperate to try something new. Okay, I take that back. How else well I continue to write Unilocal review if it were not for the good and the bad. This one, my Unilocaler friends is a total ‘miss’.

There are signs indicating that this place accepts credit cards. They don’t tell you until after you ordered that there is a $ 7 minimum. No signs anywhere indicating that The food is nothing special. Crappy fried rice, plain and greasy. The breakfast is made to order, which is nice, but takes a while. Thankfully its cheap. I do not recommend eating here for breakfast.

Two words for this place… YOUSUCK I know its harsh but man, c’mon. I love mabo tofu and I love mochiko chicken but what I got for lunch one day… man, that sucked. Mabo tofu was waaaaay too salty and the mochiko chicken tasted like I was eating flour and greasy flour wrapped in a flour-y ball cooked in greasy flour. I also had brown rice which was the only thing I enjoyed besides the chop sticks which I ended up eating so I could soak up all the salt I ingested. I think my blood pressure finally went back down to pre-toxic levels from that one ill-fated time I had lunch there 2 weeks ago. Ill give this place a –10 on the gansta meter… well maybe Ill bump it to –5 just for being ballsy enough to keep selling this crap to people. I should have listened to my stinkin instincts… «DONTGOTHERE, YOULLREGRETIT.» …damned you brain, why you always gotta be right…
