Wiki Wiki Drive Inn Express is located in Waterfront Plaza(old restaurant row). The name restaurant row was changed to waterfront plaza, because obviously the owners couldn’t find enough good restaurants, much less RESTAURANTS to put in this place lol. This place does take out breakfast and lunch, and is under $ 10. PROS: The food is under $ 10 and comes out fast. The food is all ready cooked and hot so if you want to save money and don’t have 10 minutes to eat lunch come here. WORKSINPROGRESS: Going back to the fast food. This is partly in fact because they don’t have stoves. Dont have stoves? How do you cook? I’ve seen them bring in hot food from their delivery trucks. Which I guess that means that the kalua pork that you eat at 1 pm was brought in from somewhere at 8 am. Not sure if I want to eat something several hours old. Reminds me of Perry’s Smörgåsbord in Waikiki. Basically don’t eat the food towards the end of the day. I also thought mochiko chicken was boneless cubes of fried chicken, not a chicken thigh with a bone in it. Definitely not a place that I would go back, unless I was a health inspector: p

This place is right by my office so I figured I would give it a try. They had a lot of breakfast options at a reasonable price. The customer service was terrible. It wasn’t that busy and the woman taking orders just had no manners. No good morning, hello, how are you, or thank you. All she asked was«what you want?» and told me how much my food was. The eggs were mushy and not seasoned. Toast and sausage were okay. I definitely will not be coming back. I would rather pay $ 10 for breakfast for good food and customer service.

Food came out fast. I mean like I just finished paying for my food and it was being handed to me. Food was juice and delicious. We both loved our food. It’s a small place and you eat outside. No AC or restaurant to sit in. It’s a fast food place. And they are fast :) friendly too.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday, since I didn’t know where else to eat around here. I got a mini kalua pig and cabbage. The portions were a good size, but I ended up getting more cabbage than kalua pig! It also tasted different… Idk how to explain it, but it kind of tasted like it wasn’t real pork. It was too funky for me, so I only ate a couple of bites and threw it away. I ended up wasting my $ 7.00. :( I don’t know if I will be back. If I do, I’m definitely not ordering the kalua pig again!

Fast-food! Your order is quick and food is great! We’ve been here a few times and every time we’ve got exceptional service. The workers are friendly. The menu is simple. They’re a small place, there is no indoor dining. If you plan to eat there you will be eating on outdoor picnic tables. But the environment is pleasant and pretty peaceful. Good bang for your buck! Prices are very affordable especially considering their location which is in the center of Restaurant Row.

Stomach filler served with a smile. Price was less than $ 10. I didn’t know the food places were like around this mall area so just picked one. Guess I picked the wrong one. Ordered Mochiko Chicken and it came with two scoops or brown rice and salad with thousand island dressing. I think they fried a chicken thigh in batter and then poured some sort of soy-based sauce on it after. So it was a knockoff Mochiko. LOL Learn something new every day… today I learned that I probably won’t be back to this food place. :-) Would have never known until I tried it… right?

I love this place, food is good and prices are reasonable. The specials change daily, but the menu stays the same, good variety, but if there is something you always like to eat, just remember the day you ate it and it will probably be on there the next week. Staff is very helpful and fast.

Tried grabbing a quick breakfast to take up to the office with me. If you’re looking for quick, breakfast croissant isn’t the answer. It was decent sized though, I ate half for breakfast and half for lunch. Nothing fancy, Costco croissant, sausages, scramble eggs. If you’re looking for something that makes you say, «YUMMY!!!» This didn’t really do it(go to Carval’s right around the corner instead). But it was fine for the price. If you’re looking for someone pleasant behind the counter to give you a smile to start your morning off with, also not the place to go. The two ladies gruffly took my order, took my money, chatted with each other as they nuked my breakfast, and then gruffly gave me my food. I don’t think I’ll go back, but at the same time, it may be just what I’m looking for on another day. We’ll see!

I come here from work all the time for lunch. It’s a short walk and great way to take a break from the office. The portions here are HUGE! a «Regular» is big enough to feed 2 so a «mini» is guaranteed to fill you up. The food is super cheap too and the staff are all really friendly. Fyi, if you tip ‘em you’ll receive a resounding«thank you, thank you!!» My favorite: Honey Garlic Chicken :) yumm

Not bad considering everything is pre-cooked. Cash only and cheap for lunch. I’ve had chicken katsu and lau lau. Both were good, although the lau lau was a little small.

Good place for a cheap and quick lunch. I got a mini beef stew plate, which had huge chunks of meat and was quite filling. They accept cash only.

Considering of all the restaurants in restaurant row, this is one of the cheaper restaurants serving local plate lunch. They give a good amount of size for $ 7, but the quality isn’t as good as the neighboring lunch trucks in downtown: Honey Garlic Chicken — 3 stars — taste is great, more like chicken cutlet, but it was cold because it was sitting out on the burners, and it wasn’t kept warmed enough. Hawaiian Roast Pork — 3 stars your average roast pork with gravy.

Let me first say that the food here is not the best at all. I think its actually a 1 or 2 star place. Their coffee sucks, the morning breakfasts are more rice than anything. The bacon is cold and unsatisfying as well as the eggs… BUT…(big BUT) like many good businesses, they have one thing that stands out. LOCATION. Man, I see so much people go there in the morning and for lunch. Hell, I go there too and I’m a picky bastard. They are in the right spot and are just so darn convenient! The people are friendly, the service is pretty quick. Gets 3 stars from me…
