Sooo I’ve been wanting to try out their pretty delicious menu since ever since, ultimately came for the hour happy after work and luckily had two seats available left. First 15 guests and that’s it’s for the day. We had almost everything on the menu! Haha honestly we wanted to try everything! It was kinda difficult choosing what we like cuz everything looked good and seemed yummy. We Started off w/some cocktail drink… Ohh pinky’s up! I ordered some kind of Midori drank and it was bomb. Not too bitter not too sweet but just right! Most Absolutely had to try the seared scallop! Most fave I love scallop like crazy in love. The sauce was buttery like it was beyond the bomb wanted to seconds but we ordered more… Then came carpaccio, the foi gras sushi was Frickin bomb too! The only thing we didn’t really like was the Makajiki. The fish was seasoned too salty and overcooked. Guess my teeth is now sensitive due to 8 Separators in my teeth. The service at the bar was phenomenal! Brent was super chill we kept talking stories with him throughout the night. He had awesome recommendations and was very helpful since we were first timer. We would again because of the food and some customer service! They even had live entertainment. This lady sand and played the guitar live right in the center by the bar. Her songs were authentic. The inner interior design had pretty huge white lights it was pretty like Japanese kine lantern lights. Out bill wasn’t that bad since it was happy hour. I recommend to try out their happy happy because their menu is a bit pricey. Every single bite we liked ok the menu was worth it. Food Gasm ya know.

The atmosphere and presentation of food are gorgeous. I love the small tapas and they have a new local menu every month and it’s only $ 35 on Sundays & Mondays– such a great deal! If you need a lot of hardy food, this place will definitely NOT fill you up. I am satisfied with small portions so to me this place is amazing!

If you’re looking for quality food with great staff, then this is your place! It’s a hidden gem tucked away in restaurant row. Their food is made with such perfection, every detail is so beautiful and delicious! We often eat here– a few times a month, we feel like family. Kiana & Ann are by far our favorite servers… They know the menu top to bottom and are so pleasant. Most times we specifically request them. Also if you’re having a party they have a private room that fits about 20 people. When you go… Because you have to… Have the snapper! OMG it’s amazing. Must go!!!

HAPPYHOUR! I love happy hour and this place is definitely one of the better places to go to happy hour. A line outside of the door every time! I’ve gone to Hiroshi’s multiple times and have been impressed with their food every time. Unfortunately, the quality of some of the items has slid a bit so if you haven’t gone in a while, be aware(or beware) of some changes. GREAT! Foie Gras sushi — For me, one of the best things on the menu, a mixture of sweet and savory. The buttery flavor of the Foie Gras went extremely well with the sweet sushi rice. Loved this dish. The bar tender told us that this one one dish he could eat all of the time. He was right. Sea Scallop — I love scallops, I love butter. Nuff said. It cooked with perfect searing. Loved it. GOOD. Misoyaki Butterfish — I hate cooked fish especially butterfish. This actually was pretty tasty. The fish taste was very mellow and the miso was perfect but a little on the sweet side. Maybe its just me. Bacon Wrapped Kauai Shrimp — wasn’t spectacular but hey, its bacon and shrimp. Grilled Tako — Pretty good stuff. I liked the mix of just the right char on the tako. Wasn’t as tender as I would have wanted it but the taste was good. BAD! Adobo Pork Belly– I was VERY disappointed that this dish was changed. It was one of my favorite dishes from Hiroshi’s. I almost took away a star for this change. Though I love adobo, I don’t want it in a semi fancy restaurant. I would rather have it at Elena’s or from my school cafeteria(which was amazing!). The original, Steamed Pork Belly, was melt in your mouth good! This one was«meh». Portuguese Sausage Gyoza– Another great dish destroyed by simplicity. Before, there was a lighter sauce with Kim chee foam. This made all the flavors come together. Now, the gyoza is swimming in an oily sauce and doesn’t taste as good. The bar tender said they were trying to make it more easy to make but it took the quality down about two notches. Service to me is ALWAYS friendly here. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Also, where else will your table and water refills be done by a Master Sommelier. Yes, Chuck Furuya is always around bussing tables and refilling water. I just think its entertaining to see that. I recommend this restaurant but be aware of the changes.

I enjoy going to Hiroshi Eurasian Tapas. Granted, I’ve only been there twice, but, I have enjoyed both visits to the restaurant. One time, there was an amazing performer that people said was from a Hawaiian band of which I am uncertain of, but he was spectacular! I would suggest that Hiroshi manage their music well so that the performer(s) will not be competing with the music that the restaurant has playing over its speakers. So what about the food? Well, each time, it seems like the people I am with are too excited for the food that we just order way too much. Lucky for you, I can say what my favorites are. Faves: — One of my favorites is the sauce for the rice cake appetizer. It is enticing, and I end up putting it on other foods of mine. — I absolutely love the spicy tuna that comes on the spoons, I really wish I did not have to share with others, and that they would just give met their share. — The seared scallops are amazeballs! The sauce is spectacular as well, and just like the sauce for the appetizer, I ended up asking for my rice cakes to dip in both the appetizer sauce and the sauce for the seared scallops. Next time, I hope I can have four orders to myself! — I was certainly surprised with the squid ink pasta. It took me a while to stomach the fact that I was going to be eating this, but all is good and well, and I am still alive! It is yummy and not too creamy, which I really enjoyed. Meh: — I wasn’t that impressed with the bacon wrapped shrimp. For me it, it was just a-okay among the other amazing food that I have eaten there. — Hiroshi’s foie gras sushi are really good, believe me, but because it is a small portion plate, it is a bit harder to determine if I super like it or not. Maybe, if I go again, I’ll ask to order multiple orders to make that determination. There were more orders that we ordered, but I hope to try them again so that I can give a fair review. So, for now… I am up for more trips to Hiroshi!

After driving by Hiroshi’s hundreds of times my wife and I finally decided to try it. Luckily we caught their happy hour which runs from 530 – 630 at the bar, and offers half off the ENTIRE food menu! We couldn’t believe it! The drinks weren’t on happy hour pricing but they are priced very reasonably, including their great selection of wine(which also includes any wine from Vino next door). We tried four tapas and the Hamachi Sashimi was our favorite! The white truffle oil went amazing with the seared hamachi. Next was the seared scallops, then Kampachi Carpaccio, and finally the foi gras. All of them were great, but they didn’t necessarily make my mouth explode. The serving sizes are pretty small, but who can complain when it’s half off. After the tapas I was still hungry so I ordered the steak. For $ 15 and it was pretty solid. It was presented in some sort of wasabi purée that went great with the New York Strip. If I was paying full price I wouldn’t have been as stoked about it since the portion was fairly small again, but for happy hour prices it was a great steak! Possibly the best part of our dinner was the service. I think the bartender’s name was Brent and he was awesome! He asked me and my wife about our wine preferences and found us both great wines to try for less than $ 6 a glass. His service was top notch from start to finish. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back for happy hour again!

I love the décor. The employees are nice. But I am not too sure about the food. The portion sizes are not a problem as it is a tapa place, small portions are to be expected. 5 stars for the spicy tuna alone. I loved how it was served: a plate of 4 individual chinese spoons with a scoop of(jasmine?) rice with spicy ahi on top. By far my favorite dish of the night. 4 stars for the crab«cake» dish. Actually more of a salad and not an actual cake: crumbled crab(real crab) sprinkled over greens and corn. The rest was of the dishes was exactly like this rating: ‘a-ok’ because I can’t even remeber what else I ate. What I do like about this restaurant that is next door to Vino, their sister restaurant with an actual door in between so customers can go through to other side if they wanted to continue their food journey. My waitress explained that if it’s a slow night for either restaurant, the customer is more than welcome to order off the menu of the other restaurant. Woohoo!

HALF-OFFMENUPRICESDURINGHAPPYHOURATTHEBAR!(Only 15 seats available) I mean, I can understand why Hiroshi’s doesn’t have a big banner outside advertising this not-so-secret secret. I saw a few patrons sit down in the dining area around 6pm and I just wanted to shake them and say«It’s 50% where I’m sitting right now!» Anyways, I thought there would be a crazy Black Friday type of line for Happy Hour so I arrived at 4:45pm on a Saturday to snag a seat at the bar. We were the first ones there up until 5:20pm. I guess it was graduation day or something so we got lucky… but I would still suggest arriving early. I appreciated how the hostess asked«Who was here first?» when she opened the door. Made it less awkward for me and I didn’t have to give anyone the stink-eye for stepping ahead of me. Once seated, I immediately ordered a Sexy Lychee martini. Definitely a must try — and only $ 3.50 to boot! We ordered 2 foie gras sushi dishes, the Panko-crusted ahi, the cuttlefish dish, and the seared scallops. Everything was AMAZING and delicious. The foie gras sushi definitely hit the spot for me since I’m from California, where foie gras is so ridiculously banned. The scallops were my second favorite dish and I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I enjoyed the cuttlefish, which tasted like a tender piece of squid. The ahi was served in a lemongrass sauce that was great but the dish itself was nothing too special in my opinion; delicious, but I’d probably pass next time. I also had a chance to try the Lilikoi martini and the Hiroshi’s foam martini, both wonderful but not as good as the Sexy Lychee in my opinion! Ended our small meal with the POG cheesecake, another ball-out-of-the-park dish! It came with a side of caramel ice cream that I wish was a bit softer though. Service was excellent at the bar. Since there were only 2 other parties at the bar, we were able to casually chat with the bartender, who was very cool by the way. My only complaint of the whole night is that all our dishes came out cold. As the first patrons of the night, I was hoping our food, like the scallops, would’ve come out at least warm. Anyhow, we only ended up paying $ 48 for our whole meal, including drinks! Overall, a highly recommended Happy Hour spot! I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Don’t forget to get your parking ticket validated!

I went here for Restaurant Week and was not disappointed! The food was extremely delicious. One of my favorite items was the Sugar Snap Pea Salad. It came out on a spoon and was like a party in my mouth. All of the food was amazing. The customer service here is outstanding. The staff is helpful and very friendly. They made us feel relaxed and did not rush us out. The restaurant is in Restaurant Row. The restaurant layout is very open which is nice because the last thing I want to do is move my seat back and hit another patron. One side of the restaurant is all windows, allowing a beautiful viewing of the ocean. Very nice. Also they have live music as well. They validate parking so you pay $ 0. I would go back again.

Now this is a keeper. Happy hour is from 530 pm to 630 pm and only at the bar. The only drawback is that there is only 14 seats at the bar. So get there early, we did around 445 pm and there were people already waiting, so be prepared. Everything on the menu(except for drinks) is 50% off for one hour only. So now you understand why there is always a line. We, my partner in crime and myself, practically ordered one of everything on the menu. My favorite was the Foie Gras sushi, and the kampachi carpaccio. It was«like butta». The service at the bar was amazing. Don’t forget to bring your parking stub, they kindly validate.

This place is awesome! Awesome place for happy hour as well as dinner! Came here for bday dinner and our server was great. The food quality here always delivers as well. For tapas we had the ahi carpacio, panko crusted ahi, butterfish, foie gras sushi, and pork adobo belly. I had the opah for entrée and it was very tasty! For dessert we all shared macadamia nut pog cheese cake, green tea tiramisu and I had my complimentary chocolate mousse cake. The presentation is awesome here as well and there is a full bar here and quite the extensive and impressive wine list!

This is a very good dining spot. It’s located in Restaurant Row and the food here is quite good. The Duo Sushi was really good. It came with torched Hamachi and Miso Salmon. They were both delicate with amazing flavor. The Grilled Cuttlefish was also excellent. The cuttlefish was very tender with nice flavor. We were actually amazed at how tender the cuttlefish was. The Abalone Katsu was nothing special. It lacked flavor. The Kona Lobster over Squid Ink Pasta was nice. The lobster was very fresh. The LaBelle Farms Foie Gras was outstanding. It practically melted in our mouths. You can nver go wrong with Foie Gras. Overall you can get a really nice meal here. The place is pretty nice and the price point is not too high.

I had the chance to dine here for a Meals on Heels get together. I’m so glad that my co-host chose this spot!!! Parking was super easy! There is a huge garage behind the restaurant and Hiroshi validates parking. I enjoyed the FOIEGRASSUSHI(YOUMUSTMUSTGETTHIS!), one of the crab specials they had that night, and the scallops. I am not a huge fan of scallops but these were delicious. I should have just ordered multiple plates of the foie gras and the crab because those give mouthgasms. ;-) Our waitress was AH-MAY-ZING. I wish so badly I remembered her name, but she was hilarious, attentive, did I say hilarious?, and on top of her game. I wish all waitresses were her. This spot is swanky cool, but not pompous. I totally have plans to come back here again with my husband.

The most amazing Eurasion Cuisine in all of Hawaii! I celebrated my birthday here in Hawaii after receiving a gift certificate for this place from a co worker of mine. I was blown away by the service and food. We started of with the Caesar Salad and Crab Soup which were phenomenal! For the entrée my friend and I both had their swordfish special which left us completely speechless! This is definitely on my foodie list everytime I come to Hawaii!

If you decide to go here for Happy Hour, keep these tips in mind: It is offered at the bar only, and is from 5:30 — 6:30PM. Your food orders MUST be in by 6:30 to qualify for the 50% off. There are ONLY14 seats. You MUST be in line at the door before 5:30(actually, get there around 5 if you want to guarantee your spot at the bar). Now, for the low down on the happy hour: Martini’s are only $ 3.50 EVERYTHING on the regular food menu is 50% off. they also have a daily«special» menu — not 50% off, as its already discounted. Extensive wine collection, full bar. Exciting menu. Friendly helpful bartender and wait staff. If I had one thing that I’d suggest to the management, it would be ADD more seats to your bar area so that more people can enjoy your phenomenal happy hour. There’s space to the left side of the bar stick a couple of tables by the already existing table for 6 there. Why not double the capacity for happy hour by doing this? My friends and I would come back more often if it wasn’t so hard to get in. Or maybe that’s all part of the charm and excitement the Hiroshi Happy Hour experience. Either way, it is worth the wait. Highly recommend going at least once.

Cyndy’s Bottom Line: Delicious execution and flavors! We started on the bar for Happy Hour. Hubby had his usual Manhattan and I had a flute of prosecco. We had excellent service from Brent. He had great recommendations throughout the night. So we decided to stay at the bar with Brent. There is an awesome Happy Hour at the bar with ½ off prices on food. Yes, the food. I was so excited to know this. It should be called Happy Eating Hour(HEH)! This is what we ate: We started with the complimentary puff rice cakes with aioli. * Portuguese Sausage Potstickers –wilted choi sum, sweet corn, kim chee foam & truffled butter ponzu sauce. Perfectly done potstickers, love the filling. The truffled butter sauce is amazing! I could drink it but instead I used the sauce on my other dish it it so robust with flavor, delicious! * Sous Vide of Kona Cold Lobster Tail — squid ink pasta, tobiko, shiso with Ho Farms-long beans & red jalapeño. The squid ink pasta fresh and delicate the lobster perfectly done. Love the sweetness of the Kona lobster. * Miso Yaki Butterfish — wilted Nalo tatsoi & lemon-ume gelee withbaby bok choy. The butterfish is like butter!!! Delicate, moist butterfish Delicous miso yaki flavor. Love the touch of lemon — ume gelee to cleanse your palate. * OPAH(Moonfish) Pan Seared — roasted vegetables, squid ink pasta, chive yuzu vinaigrette & beurre blanc. Excellently prepared opah. Love the beurre Blanc sauce — subtle and delicious. * Vintage Natural Beef New York Steak miso glazed, yukari, pickled wasabi top-cauliflower purée, roasted seasonal vegetables and potato au gratin. We ordered it med rare and receive it med rare! Delicious miso glaze on the steak. Love the potato au gratin. * Macadamia Nut«POG» Cheese Cake — liliko’i-orange coulis, dulce de leche ice cream & guava foam. The ice cream was so creamy and decadent and the guava foam so yummy!

My new favorite happy hour place is Hiroshi’s. Great food at 50% off is a steal in my books. Their happy hour starts at 5:30pm and ends at 6:30pm. To qualify for the discount, your orders need to be in by 6:30pm. Seating for the happy hour is only at the bar. There is limited seating to fourteen seats. I got there around 5:15pm and there was already a group of people waiting at the doors for them to open. I tried the panko crusted ahi, spicy tuna, foie gras, and the vintage NY steak(see my pictures). Including drinks my tab came out to $ 136 before discount and after the discount $ 88. That is a FANTASTIC deal for great food and drinks. The service at the bar was FANTASTIC and parking was easy to find. Definitely would repeat.

Alicia D. and I went here for Valentines dinner. It was our first visit, and while I was happy, I was not blown away. I ordered the Prix Fixe menu for the night, which was a 5 course meal. The apps were really tasty, but the steak was a bit underwhelming. It was a sous-vide filet, and while it was cooked to the perfect temperature, and very tender, it lacked the hard sear that I love on a good steak. It would have taken the steak up a notch, and probably earned this place a 5th star. The service however was really good, the staff seemed informed about what they were serving, the drinks were good, and the prices we about what I expected for the quality of food and service I got. Overall I was happy, and will likely come back for drinks as their happy hour looked pretty awesome.

A HARMONIOUSMELODYOFEUROPEAN&ASIANFLAVORS! BESTHAPPYHOUR! WoW! I only came here for Happy Hour and I was soooo impressed! Everything we ate here was scrumptious! FOOD 1) Foie Gras Sushi!!! Oooohhhh! Delectably melts in your mouth goodness!!! The teriyaki glaze was yummy. I should’ve got a double, okaaay! Best dish they have! 2) Pork Belly– A savory dish! The salty adobe sauce went well with my green apple martini! Hehe! 3) Hamachi Carpaccio — Large portion! So smooth and fresh. The truffle butter went well with this! Way cheaper than Nobu! 4) Seared Sea Scallops– Cooked perfectly! 5) $ 3.50 Martini’s! I had a few ;) ENVIRONMENT Located in Restaurant Row. Large restaurant. Private room available. Parking in restaurant row, don;t forget validation. SERVICE Quick, but minimal, meaning the poor bartender was taking orders and making drinks, he was busy but fairly efficient! I think they need more staff or better teamwork? TIP Happy hour only at bar. Half off Menu from 5:30pm-6:30pm! CONCLUSION 5 stars for happy hour! Coming back again, enough said!

Happy hour special — 50% off all food. 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The Happy Hour is such a great deal. It’s gourmet food at a valuable price. We had the spicy tuna tapas, yummy ahi with konbu rice and homemade taegu served on top of spoons. The crab-stuffed mahi-mahi on top a lemon-pepper broth, was ultra delicious with the dynamite sauce lathered on it. I had the Tomalley lobster($ 23.50, not part of the happy hour special, but still a good price). The lobster is cut into pieces and deep fried with lemon wedge. Because of the saltiness of tomalley batter, it brought out the ocean-sweetness of the lobster. Lastly, we wrap up dinner with the chocolate ooze cake. They also offer a lot of happy hour drink specials, we tried the watermelon cosmo. It’s so good, I am going again with my girlfriends tonight.
