I love this place! It’s the only place that serves me oysters for a good price in Hawaii! Love to try their daily exotic drink. Happy Hour!!! Wished I’d met the owner from UK… Menu got a little hint of Europe that is…

I love this place!!! I’ve been twice and shame on me for not giving a review sooner! The service is friendly and the drinks… Amazing !!! They have this one sriracha cocktail, I can’t remember the name but it was soooo good! And happy hour oysters at a buck a pop ?? What? You can’t beat it! I did however have to deduct a star for the last visit because I have never in life seen gulf oysters that small! But we didn’t have that problem the first visit so I’m hoping it was a one time occurrence. In any case I’ll be back for sure. Oh and the last visit they had vinyls for sale and a Dj booth set up. We need more cute trendy places in Hawaii like Bevy!!!

It’s a nice place for Pau Hana hour and their 1.50 oysters that are served super cold. They have a good food menu as well and recommend trying the toasties. It was so good and the tomato jam was delicious. They also make some good drinks and was surprised on how good their michelada was when I ordered it. If in the area stop by and get some drinks or food.

I’ve been dying to check out Bevy since I found out about it a couple months ago and it did not disappoint. I ended up making it here for Happy hour which was great. They feature a $ 5 cocktail at this time and have oysters for $ 1.50. I’ve been craving oysters and was very excited to learn that they were on hh menu. It comes with a ponzu sauce and a green apple relish. Yum. My only issue with this was whoever shucked the oysters must have not been paying attention. We had so many pieces of the shells with each oyster :(I wanted to order more, but by the time I was done picking shells out of my mouth I was over it. Bummer. The menu here is not big and it’s more like appetizers and not a dinner menu. So if your hungry I wouldn’t recommend coming here for that. You’ll end up ordering the whole menu and it will be very pricy for you. It’s perfect for snacks and cocktails though. We ordered the tartar w/quail egg and it was delicious. The crostinis are a perfect crunchy compliment to this dish. We also ordered the Egg and Soliders. I’m a fan of anchovies so I loved this dish. I highly recommend everyone to try this. Now for my favorite part… the cocktails. Every cocktail we tried was delicious and refreshing. A couple of my favs were Moscow mule, Smoked Rose Collins, and the Hall Pass. The cocktail of the day was delicious too. It’s a steal at only $ 5 and taste nothing like I’ve ever had before. You should definitely ask what the daily cocktail is and take advantage of this deal. They also have $ 3 drafts and $ 5 glasses of champagne on there happy hour. This is a great spot and I can’t wait to go back.

SIGHOFRELIEF! My man and I arrived to Bevy following a happy hour at a place where there was an abundance of barely covered silicone, flat butts, and long hair. Yawwwwwnnnn… considering the fact that I am over 29, that scene is simply not for me. So we arrived at Bevy and it was a breath of fresh air! The Bar Keepers do not mess around. The drinks are simply perfection! nothing less than yumminess! I drank a few of the specialty cocktails, and had a ginger beer to slow it down a touch. All and all, it was the perfect place to enjoy a Friday evening with my handsome man!

I really liked this place. It’s a hip bar/restaurant with great drinks. The service was really good and the bartenders were always checking on you. I came here on a Tuesday for happy hour. I was told each week they have a special cocktail that they feature. I had a stressful day and their special of the week was«I can’t even.» It was perfect! I ordered 2. They were only $ 5 each and pretty strong. They’re located right next to Cocina so you can sit outside with your drink and get food from Cocina. I’ll definitely be back.

So I was told about this bar from a local. Showed up at 6 and it was very mellow and relaxed. Great atmosphere and very eclectic appeal. Distinct and unique. Good layout given the space. Interior was hand crafted and unique. The bartenders that night were Kat and Gabrielle. This bar is great for hand crafted old school or unique drinks. Both bartenders were very knowledgable and worked to create the perfect beverage for you. Live music from local talent was great. Not too loud and over bearing. Still allowed conversation. I had the bruschetta, perfect appetizer. Just right and good price. I followed with the soup which was flavorful. I finished with falafel. All three items were delicious and just right. Their display was also unique. Definitely a bar to check out and stop in to start the night out. I’ll be back

Didn’t get a chance to try the food but it smelled like heaven was being served on plates all over the place. That being said I did get a chance to try a few drinks. The mint julep: Holy eff was this drink good. It has some sasparillo syrup and it tastes like a drink crafted from the gods. I also had a couple other drinks that I cant remember the names of but mostly involved mint(because I was in the mood for mint get off my back) My lady also had a drink and they were all delicious and wonderful and made with a smile. The atmosphere here is also really relaxed and awesome and comfortable!

Christian(owner and manager and bartender and mixologist extraordinaire) and his crew of top-shelf bartenders make cocktails a religious experience(see what I did there?) at Bevy. Tucked into a re-purposed, nondescript(from the outside) corner in Kakaako, Bevy delivers the cocktails you’ve been missing(if you frequented 39 Hotel) and the ones you didn’t even know you were living without. Classics abound, but Christian and Bevy are at their best when they are putting their own spin on the traditional. Not to be missed: Mai Tai(the real recipe, not the touristy one, and the single best drink I have ever had!), Moscow Mule(ask for the copper mug, you’ll be glad you did), Old Fashioneds, and the Smoked Rose Collins — which comes with a. .. how do I put this. .. surprise happy ending?(Just trust me on that last one!!!) Honestly, every cocktail there is a winner, made with top ingredients and attention to detail. They are well worth the pricetag(Bevy is not cheap) but man is it good! The food is fantastic as well, from meat and cheese plates to oysters to TONGUEFRIES!!! NOTE: Think more along the lines of nibbles than meals. A good spot for Pau Hana, Bevy can be your nightspot too. It has a great rotation of musical performers including the Dirt Squirrels, Maneki Nekos, DJ Globes, resident DJ Timo, and many others. Fun tunes, great drinks, an always friendly crowd, and a small dance floor make this a liberation libation experience.

This place is great for Happy Hour! $ 5 beer specials(great amount of variety) as well as $ 1.00 oysters! The atmosphere is so relaxed and the décor is nothing but unique! The employees were very attentive and very helpful! I highly suggest calling ahead of time to reserve the booth against the wall because the place does tend to get filled! The only concern that I have is the food you order. The portions are small and pricey as well however, the food is pretty good! I would suggest increasing the portion size just a bit and this place will be great! Overall, each experience has always been great! Check this place out for sure!

This was my first time coming here. So let’s see… Parking: I came here on a Saturday night. It’s street parking. There is a lot of construction currently going on in the area. Location: At first, we couldn’t find the place. There is not light on the sign, so it was difficult to see. The location of the restaurant is on the corner of the building. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great! There are cool paintings on the wall. There is a dj playing music. It’s very lively and kinda noisy. It’s a bar so there is someone that checks Id at the door. Staff: The waitress was very informative on the food and drinks. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar because it was crowded. The seats looked into the small kitchen. ***Problem… The people that cook and wash dishes are eating food while making your food… In front of the people sitting at the bar :(So gross and unsanitary!!! They throw the food tickets on the plate with your food. Food: Food portions are small. Plates are small. Don’t come here to eat dinner or a meal cuz you would have to spend a lot of money to be full. The food is tasty though. I got the tartar with quail egg. Tartar was tasty yet prepared ahead of time. We also go the Persian eggplant with naan. Very flavorful with a sting eggplant taste. Drinks: I got the Moscow Mule. That was awesome!!! I would get this again. Summary: — street parking — cooks and dish washer eat the food and throw tickets on your plates. — portions are small– don’t come to eat a meal — drinks are great!!!

This hidden and new gem is the hip spot to be for Happy Hour! Just making 2 years at this location they seem to be doing well and Id be safe to say that with the new upcoming trend of Kakaako developing they will continue their success into the future. The gulf oysters were very well prepared and delicious at $ 1.50 makes them a great bargain. Drink was their famous house Moscow Mule, really refreshing and decent price of $ 8.00. This drink was not only refreshing but had chopped ice that helped infuse the fresh lime juice and vodka. Beer specials on tap each day and ask to try a sample as they have new beers rotating often. Service was fast and precise as is expected, Courtney was on top of her game today. I will be back many times and next time it will be 2 dozen oysters.

Excellent bar for craft drinks. Located off the beaten path in Kakaako. Warm Golden lighting surrounded by rock walls. You would think you’re in a local drinking hole in Aspen or Tahoe. I wouldn’t call them Bartenders but Mixologists. They take mixing drinks seriously. A throwback to olden style bars where you can get a great drink and the Mixologist will carry on a conversation with you. Small but creative menu. $ 1 raw oysters for happy hour. Gotta love that. Had the Ahi Tartare with quail egg. Excellent dish. Minced raw ahi with diced scallions, parsley, sea salt and topped with a raw quail egg. Served with toast points. The scallions were expertly diced into tiny cubes which leads me to believe that the chef had great knife skills. A wonderful little dish with a glass of wine. Perfect starter place before heading out to dinner.

I don’t take advantage of Pau Hana hour nearly as much as I think I need to lol. Instead of battling the crowds in downtown and elbow’ing your way to the front of the bar praying the bartender will give you the time of day to order a drink, it’s nice to know that a bar like Bevy doesn’t fall into that category. My first time here and came during Friday happy hour(around 5pm). I scored non-metered street parking really close by so that was a plus! They are currently undergoing construction on the outside/sidewalk area in front of their entrance, but they have signs that do alert customers that they are OPEN for business. When I arrived they had plenty of open seating available. My friends and I chose a spot next to the DJ, who btw does a pretty sweet Afro jazz set around 8pm. It starts picking up around 7PM, but still plenty of room for sitting. Happy Hour is from 4PM-7PM. They offer pretty reasonable and delicious pupu’s and a «cocktail of the day» which is great if you’re looking to try something new, fresh and interesting. I love my wine(reds in particular), so I started my tab off with the $ 8 Columbia Winery Merlot, highly recommend if you’re into that type. I also gave their happy hour IPA beer called Terminal Gravity a try. Not bad, although I think I enjoy the more citrus’y flavored hops IPA’s a little more. Food wise, Bevy’s menu offers exotic flavor profiles that pair well with their cocktails. A little overwhelmed when I first stared at the menu because of how high gourmet each of the plates sounded. Our group ordered the Bruschetta, Meat & Potatoes, and the Persian Eggplant Spread with Naan. All of them are very tasty and delicious and definitely worth ordering. The Meat & Potatoes plate broke my mouth. I surprisingly enjoyed that the most just because i don’t normally eat steak, but this meat was seasoned VERY well, was juicy, and super tender. The Persian Eggplant spread had amazing flavors as well. I would reorder any of these again when I come back, and maybe even be tempted to try their Lenguas Fries(tongue fries). All in all very pleased with my first experience here. The ambience is very hipster; industrial chic, which is becoming the«it» thing when it comes to branding for the 20−30yr old demographic these days. But since i fall into that category I can appreciate that. Service was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to us, had some good recommendations, however the wait time for drinks was inconsistent(took my friends 2 minutes to get their Moscow Mules while I waited 20 mins for my bottled IPA beer). Other than that, I recommend Bevy for those who want a good happy hour, quaint atmosphere where you can still have easy conversation, or if you have friends or relatives in town. Other notable features of this bar include: their sliding doors in the bathrooms. Next time I need to take a picture, there’s some seriously fun stuff drawn on those doors! Great reading material LOL. The booth seats are upholstered out of jean pocket material sewn together. They also feature current artist Cara Toes’ artwork on their wall.

I think I have just found a new Happy Hour favorite! There is plenty of street parking, just make sure to read the signs carefully. Happy Hour is from 4PM-7PM. Aside from HH drink specials — they also offer $ 1 Korean Gulf Oysters with a side of ponzu, lemon and shallots. Yum! They usually have a «cocktail of the day» — which I highly suggest taking advantage of. The bartenders are pretty creative in their drinks which I love! Their bar is well stocked! Our group ordered the oysters, cocktail of the day, Moscow Mule, Lenguas Fries & Homemade Ketchup, Bruschetta, and Meat & Potatoes. The Lenguas fries are actually fried beef tongue(fyi), not fries with tongue bits sprinkled on it. The Bruschetta was wonderful — that fig compote was bomb! Although I didn’t actually try the Meat & Potatoes — from my friends’ reactions — I think it was very good and maybe the best thing on the pupu menu. The ambience is very hipster-ish, but I dig that. The service was just a tad bit above average — just a tad though, nothing worth noting. Our 11-person group went on a Friday around 5PM and it wasn’t crowded at all, but it picked up around 7PM, but still plenty of room for sitting. Also — their sliding door bathrooms are fun! You gotta take a peek for yourself, lol. Happy Pau Hana!

Seems like someplace on the lower east side except roomy and plenty of seats and reasonably priced happy hour and not too cool for school. Very helpful and friendly server who had opinions and suggestions about the menu — hate it when servers so everything’s good. It was a Monday so not crowded, plenty of street parking(bring quarters for meters til 6). Felt like a comfy but hip neighborhood bar esp with lone patrons at bar– somehow seems more legit. Had the tongue fries — very tender. Oysters a winner for the price. Pâté charcuterie plate perfect. Bruschetta sweet and bitter yumminess. Toasties– grilled cheese deliciousness esp with extra pâté smeared on top. Loved it. Debating on whether it deserves five stars even though not in my hood. But just really enjoyed it thoroughly. $ 250 for 6 people who drank a lot(24 drinks total) and ate their fill. Even my friend who hates hipster ready places said we could go back. It’s more than just hipster hype.

Great«Little Jack Horner» drink with cherry liqueur and muddled fresh plums, drink of the evening! Enjoyed the cheese puffs, very light and delicate flavor, but only 4 small puffs for $ 6. The chanterelle mushroom and chicken sausage soup was hearty and flavorful with 2 crisp toast to dip. Enjoyable, light repast before going to CMYE Unilocal Night @ the Opera: Siren Song!

My friends and I have been meaning to go to Bevy I think ever since they’ve opened! Somehow we would always end up somewhere else and say lets go to Bevy next time. Well we finaaally got around to it and planned for happy hour on a Friday. I really just came for the $ 1 oysters but sadly found out they are now $ 1.50 oysters :($ 1 oysters just sound so much more enticing lol. Anyway, we ordered a dozen oysters for the first round(there was 3 of us). Thought hmm these are pretty good and ordered another dozen(we also had more people joining us). Then got one last round of a dozen oysters! Yeah that’s a lot of oysters but they were pretty addicting! I was pleasantly surprised and glad they weren’t fishy. Hate that! They didn’t have too much to choose from their happy hour drink menu or at least none that interested me so I opted for a Bloody Mary(since I saw it on someone’s Unilocal). I rarely drink Bloody Mary’s but had a sudden craving for it. The bartender did a good job making it :) My friend ordered the Moscow Mule which was not bad but I think Manifest makes a better one! Place is pretty small but overall ambiance is cool. Great for meeting with friends or if you’re going on a date. Didn’t get to try their other food items but I def recommend the oysters for happy hour!
