IYE: Do it for the Bevy

When I saw Raelyn’s post, I immediately signed up! It was Raelyn’s very First IYE!
I had met our newest Unilocal intern at the Opera, and she remembered also meeting at Eat the Street! — she’s a sharp cookie — I like that!
I also was curious about the venue: the Bevy… I read reviews and saw other Unilocalers’ check ins. I saw the food photos and wanted some $ 1 oysters! I’m in!
Getting there early usually pays off. This time was no different — landed a parking spot RIGHT IN FRONT of the door. No way could I lose my car! Walked in with pals Lyla & Ed, and Daniel & Paul! Knew it was going to be a fun time!
Sat with Maka, Cathy, Darin, John, Mike & Emi, Eric, & Victoria. Met Aly (another new Unilocal Intern), Richard, Jon & Sheila (who now has a beautiful profile picture)! Got a chance to try new food: terrine and «cheeseballs». Tasted new drinks: Wingman, Painkiller and Moscow Mule! Toured the restroom — very clean and nicely decorated (liked the «chalkboard»). Enjoyed Raelyn’s social skills — I really admire outgoing, friendly people because I am working on that quality.
Thanks to Unilocal,Raelyn, Cathy, Maka, and Emi for providing us opportunites for «normal» interpersonal activities. I truly appreciate your hard work! Thank you for these fun events!

If given a choice, I’d prefer to eat over drinks. However, when it comes to my family and friends, I’ll do my best to offer my support. So, when I first met Raelyn B. at this past weekend’s Elite event Hat-​tily Ever After @ The Monarch Tea Room, we were able to briefly converse. In showing my support to Raelyn, I made the effort to stop by this afternoon to her very 1^st IYE (Intern Unilocal Event).
I showed up early to meet up with fellow Elite Nadine C. who didn’t need much convincing to feed me a snack from McDonald’s. While eating we then saw fellow Elite Daniel C. and chilled with him. But then decided to enter Bevy after hostess Raelyn B. showed up shortly before 5pm.
A group of about 20 Yeeps came to Bevy and there we also met the new Unilocal intern Allison. In addition to our fabulous Honolulu CM Emi H. and her 2 assistants (Cathy T. and Maka K.), was cool to have briefly chatted with Michael S., Darin O., Eric B., Victoria M., Daniel C., John N., Lyla D., Ed D., Nadine C., Jon K. and Richard K. There were several guys who where there and I apologize for not making the effort in getting their names.
Many of us took advantage of the Happy Hour $ 1 oysters and sampled various foods while sipping on cocktails.
What a great way to meet up with your friends after a long day. Thank you very much to Unilocal Intern Raelyn B. on a very successful event!
