Flower Fair

I was looking for a shop that had gardenias and would deliver the same day. I called Flower Fair and they said they could do an arrangement with gardenias and that they could deliver within the hour. When the woman on the phone asked for the delivery address she said that there was no charge for delivery! The woman even offered to text me a picture of the arrangement before it was delivered. When I saw the picture, it was perfect! I knew my mom would be so happy. The arrangement looked exactly how it was described and it was so affordable!

My story is of a Mom (me) leaving Hawaii, leaving my baby daughter behind, wanting flowers delivered to my daughter for a special thank you for the amazing time she showed her brother and I while visiting her. I as always went directly to Unilocal to find the best florist for my needs. I started by calling all the five stars and got a No because they were booked for delivers that day plus another one stated that they don’t deliver in the city «WHAT» how did they make the five stars… Then I called Flower Fair and they were so wonderful and believe me the flower arrangement blew all the co-​workers in my daughter’s office off there seats. plus no delivery charge. My daughter loves the native flowers of Hawaii and they were just beautiful and such a big arrangement it took up my daughters desk… Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart… you are truly a five star florist.

I’ve bought flowers on a whim while passing by numerous times and their selection is always nice. However, I’ve ordered over the phone twice now and this is where they shine. $ 30 will get you a great arrangement delivered that will score you points with your significant other. Spend more and the arrangements get even better. They are my go to florist.

To be fair, I’d give this quaint little flower stand in the heart of Fort Street Mall five stars for their selection, their service, and the quality of products… but…the large tree just outside their front door, at the backside of the white church near Beretania, is a magnet for the homeless, and is apparently used as a large public urinal — because it always smells really bad around there.
Too bad for Flower Fair, because I’ve been there easily 20+ times over the past five years, and I’m always treated great, the lei they sell is top quality, and the prices always reasonable. In fact, I just stopped there the other night to get a pretty lei for a friend and got a great deal later in the afternoon. They mark down the lei as the day grows longer to ensure they rotate the inventory. Deals to be had!
If they could just get the City to clean up the vagrancy right outside their doors, all would be well in the world!

I was looking for a florist that delivers flower arrangements in the downtown area. My wife works downtown and it was for our first wedding anniversary. So it had to be special. I checked our Unilocal,and found Flower Fair, which had good recommendations and comments. I knew that I was taking a chance since I wasn’t familiar with their work. I put my faith in the recommendations, and ordered ¹¹⁄₂ dozen pink roses. I was told that they could do it and it would be ready for delivery in about an hour. The person I spoke to was very cordial and helpful. A half hour later, I got a call from them and was asked if I wanted to get a fancier vase. It sounded good, but I asked how much more it was going to cost. It was the same price! My wife received the arrangement soon after that, and she was so happy! I scored some major points for the flower arrangement. Thank-​you Flower Fair for such a great experience.

Ordered flowers for delivery with May, who was easy to work with and accommodating. She was so sweet and went above and beyond my expectations, even took a picture of the flowers upon delivery and texted it to me. Flowers and arrangement were gorgeous!

Purchased a funeral arrangement for my father in law funeral. Spoke to a nice lady (I think she was the owner) and ordered a flower arrangement based of what they had pictured on their web site. The flower arrangement was perfect and there was no issue with delivery. I was very pleased with the product and would highly recommend this florist.

My family and I wanted to send a nice floral arrangement for my great uncle who passed away. All of us couldn’t make it to Hawaii from California, so we decided we wanted a floral spray for the viewing and funeral. I used Unilocal to find a florists near the mortuary, but also looked at the reviews. I’m so happy I decided to call Flower Fair!
Pakey helped me out a great deal. He asked me how much we wanted to spend and offered to send a picture via email. Our family LOVED the sprays (which I will upload here). Thank you, Pakey and Flower Fair for making such a beautiful arrangement for my uncle. I know he looked down from the heavens and loved them, too.

I contacted May to get a quote for the flowers arrangements for our wedding at The Turtle bay Resort on 2011, and let me tell you It was a pleasure to work with her and Pake. We got a chance to stop and see the flowers before our wedding and we were very happy with the outcome (bouquets, leis, arch, aisle, table arrangements, ect).
They offer you many alternatives for your big day at affordable prices. Very professional people. We would highly recommend them. :)

This is the place to buy bouquets, leis and flowers in Downtown.
I bought a few bouquets and leis here around graduation time. The flowers were fresh, the bouquet presentation was lovely, the prices were reasonable, the service was friendly and the location was convenient! What more could I ask for?
I’d highly recommend Flower Fair if you work in the Downtown area or go to school at HPU when needing some flowers for a special occasion. I was highly impressed and would definitely come back again.

Very helpful and reasonably priced. Flowers were delivered on time and looked beautiful. Will definitely being calling Flower Fair in the future. Much better option than 1800Florists or FTD.
EDIT: Used them again for Valentine’s day. Prices were more expensive and the quality was not there. I’m thinking it was just due to the Holiday demand, but I expected better.

My girlfriend was having a bad day at work so I decided to cheer her up with some flowers. I’m on the Mainland so I searched for the closest florist to her work. I found Flower Fair on Unilocal and gave them a call. I talked to the gentleman who is the arrangement designer. His name slips my mind at the moment but he was very friendly, knowledgeable, energetic and helpful.
He asked me what the occasion was for and gave me a couple options along with prices. I decided on a half dozen pink roses to keep it simple. I gave him the delivery details and he took my CC info for payment. He assured me that he would hand deliver the flowers within the hour. Sure enough approximately an hour later I get a call from a very happy girlfriend. It put a smile on her face which was exactly what I wanted.
I will not hesitate to use Flower Fair for any future floral needs. There delivery options and phone payment make it easy for me to do something nice a couple thousand miles away!

Flower Fair is right there on Beretania end of Fort Street Mall. Many downtown office workers and HPU faculties and students can already tell you how wonderful and convenience it is to get their flowers from Flower Fair. Yap, lei are plentiful at the store each day. You can be sure their arrangements are not as pricey as other downtown florists. Parking may be a little tricky if you don’t already working downtown. When I visit, I park my car in front of Kukui Plaza, next to the fire station.
