The auto repair I normally go to didn’t have the equipment to do alignment yet so they recommended this one. I called for an appointment and when I arrived the day of the lot was pretty full which got my concerned about where to park but they were really chill about it. We recieved prompt service and was told it would take anywhere from 1 hour to 90 minutes. So my boyfriend who came with me suggested just waiting there since we wanted to eat out after. So we did and good thing too since it took 40 minutes! Much shorter than expected! I was very pleased and it was very affordable. I’d recommend then to anyone!

Rather poor experience. Booked my appointment online and arrived at designated time. Found service rep needs some listening skills. Tried to upsell me beyond the appointment made online. Had to tear up 3 versions of service papers before getting it right. I asked if the job could be complete in 2 hours and was told yes. came back at that time and they had not started working. Reminded rep of 2 hour plan. Was told they would expedite. Waited another 20 minutes and they still hadn’t started. left without getting an oil change no effort seen to make things work better for me. Won’t be going back.

Good mechanical experiences with them, didn’t feel over-​charged. Taking off a star because they don’t do safety checks, otherwise good.

I had been buying tires online whenever my wife’s car needed replacements, and shipping them to this location for installation. My wife tells me each time how happy she is with their services. This time it was my turn. I ordered wheels and tires separately and when the wheels arrived, the store manager Garrett personally called me. There was a delay in the tire delivery and they kindly held on for a week until all in and I had the time to visit them. I made an appointment ahead of time and dropped off car (knowing it would be over an hour, including transferring TPMS from existing wheels). They do have a wait area with restroom, TV, coffee and Wi-​Fi. Then Garrett called. He was making sure all parts fit, but found something which concerned him. He wanted to make sure they fit, and if not, he does not do what would prevent me from returning the products. A quick confirmation from the retailer that I am covered even after mounted, and it was a go. When I got back to the shop I see Garrett working on my vehicle himself and everything was going smooth. Once all completed, his staff helped put the old set into my car, saved me parts I needed to keep, and charged me only $ 25 per corner for TPMS transfer, mounting and balancing. What a deal, not to mention everyone was polite. Garrett suggested an alignment but after I informed my car is quite new, he told me honestly I won’t need to but bring back after 6 months so he can check the thread wear and tell me then if I need to at least rotate the tires. I would definitely use their services again myself, and recommend to friends without hesitation.

Bought some tires online and Goodyear was a recommended installer. Had tires delivered directly to their shop, made an appointment, and showed up. They estimated it would take 1 ½ hours, but they were done in less than one. Price was more than fair.
Comfortable waiting room, clean service bays, and friendly staff at the desk. I’ll probably go back when my car needs other services.

Great service. Got my tires realigned and oil changed… had my own oil so they gave me a discount on the oil change, but ended up using their oil free of charge. Service was also quick and the alignment on my car is no longer crooked.

Honestly, I hate having to write a bad review. I know these guys work hard at what they do and are offering a service. But when I created my appointment online 2 days prior and show up here in the early morning hours to get my 8am time slot, no one is here as far as customers, why make an appointment if you aren’t even going to take a second look at my car and it’s now two hours later? I only came in for an oil change and 29 point inspection. I look at my invoice and they didn’t even do the inspection! But having an appointment makes no damn difference than just walking in here! Lame. Customer service? What’s that?! I think I would have better luck if I changed the oil myself ;/
Next time I will just go to Pacific Honda!

My car was making a weird noise so I made an appointment for a 29-​point inspection, which cost $ 50 online but turned out to be free since my 4 tires are from here. Anyways I read online it could be pulleys, belts or brakes that make that noise and all those things they inspect.
The gentleman who checks people in was busy clacking away at the keyboard to even say, «Hi, I’ll be with you in a moment.» — I didn’t like that I wasn’t acknowledge, so I stood there… in awkward silence until he was done.
Anyways I handed over my keys and told them I think my brakes needed to be changed, because it’s making a metal screech noise. He said he’ll let them know.
… fast forward 2 hours later. He says that my brakes need to be changed. BUT they can’t do it today and I have to call to make an appointment. Omg… –_​_​– what’s the point of them having that big computer with appointments on it if they can’t look into it.
Their customer services needs work on. Especially the people working with the customers because when I pulled on I talked to the mechanics about where to situate my car and they were friendly and pointing me to the right spot.
Also their website states they have a comfortable waiting area… yea, okay. Lol.

This Goodyear is very convenient, not a lot of parking, but they make it work. They service both of our vehicles with oil changes, tire issues, and with the check engine lights. And they have been doing the oil changes since we owned the vehicles.
They get busy, but they have always taken the time to explain the work being done and even giving advice on fixes they don’t do.
The CEL went on in the car, made an appointment on line, took it in and realized that it was due for an oil change. I had to wait since I didn’t have a ride and since I added on the oil change, the wait went up to 2.5 hours.
In a little less than 2 hours, the car was done. They told me the code for the CEL reading and it was a small EVAP leak. They don’t do the repairs or diagnostics, but the service manager told me to go to the dealer and get a new gas cap. Well, it worked and it the light went off. They saved us so much money! I will continue to take our vehicles here. Big mahalo to Kaimuki Goodyear!

Was in a panic over one of my brakes smoking, and needed fast answer as I’m shipping truck to Maui. They found the problem — pins holding brake assembly were improperly installed when I had them fixed last. Total piece of mind, and they didn’t charge. Hope I find a shop this good on Maui.

WORST customer service! I had a flat tire and came in 40 mins before closing. The front desk rep Ryan told me when I was checking out that the technician was pissed off because he had to fix my tire. He had other things to do. I’ll never go back EVER! Don’t go there!

First thing, they do not do STATE INSPECTIONS! I just moved to the island and needed an oil change and get a state inspection for my car that I brought over.
I made an appointment online and selected to get an oil change and a state inspection. It asks for your car year, make and mileage. It told me oil options and picked the middle one. Perfect, easy to do!
I get to the Goodyear and tell them that I have an appointment. The gentleman was nice and looked it up. He said that I needed to upgrade my oil and go for a higher priced option. Saying that the other oil would be awful for it. Now, I don’t know if he was just trying to up sell me (most likely) or if this was true. I wouldn’t have gone there knowing the price $ 65 when I can go to the Honda dealership a few days later and get it done for $ 40.
The main reason I went in was for the state inspection, it’s required to register my car in the state. He then informed me that they don’t do them because the state took it away from that location. I told him they should take it off as an option and he was nice enough and said sorry.
I would try a different company! Best of luck!

I highly recommend this shop if you need new tires. I called a day before to schedule an appointment. I received a price quote and the employee said he would save two tires for me. I showed up and it took less than one hour to change two tires. They didn’t try to force any ridiculous sale on me and the price was very fair. Employees were upfront and friendly. I really like this place!

Horrible customer service. My girlfriend went here the other day to get her tires replaced. On their website you can can setup a appointment to do replace tires and at the same time get a free 29 point inspection and free alignment check which I setup for her and printed out so she just needed to take the print out and give the papers to the front desk to have the job done. The person at the front desk was rude. He questioned her if she needed everything done on the list because it takes extra time for them to do it because «people complained about the extra time needed to do the inspection, like a extra hour.» Of course it needs to be done to ensure car safety and she was willing to wait for it to be done. He also said «people sometimes click on the extras to be done because it says free next to it.» Your company offers it to ensure customer safety and if something was wrong then you can recommend it be fixed and people most likely have it done right there and then since they are already there which means more money for you. She did pay for that alignment that was offered as a free check on the website.
By the way, the «extra time» earlier resulted in a total of about an hour which was the same when I took my car in before for the same procedure but I wasn’t hassled. Maybe it’s because she’s a woman the guy wanted to hassle her so they had less work to do. They offer the service and it should be done, why question the person if the company is offering the service to being with.
Never going back again. You lost customers because of your rude service.

Just had my trucks tires replaced here. Since I bought it used, I did not have the wheel lock key so they had to cut it off. It costs $ 15 per wheel and still it was cheaper then Costco.
My truck had Goodyear Eagle LS2’s and it costs about $ 800 to replace here. The quote I got from Costo was over $ 900.
I dropped off my truck and went to do errands and it was done a few hours later.
I had no issues with customer service.

Husband, kids & I drive by and he decided to stop in to ask if they could possibly squeeze us in for an oil change. As he walks in the employee snarks «You gotta move your car!». We weren’t blocking other cars but knew it wasn’t best place to stay, just wanted to ask a quick question. So husband responds «I will, just wanted to ask a quick question». Employee «Yeah, AFTER you move the car». So we drove down the street and had a very pleasant experience at Midas!

Let’s just say that a few condescending remarks from the clerk really turned me off from ever using their services. Perhaps he was having a stressful day, but he didn’t seem incredibly happy to be there to begin with. It is also important to note that while you may have received a confirmation for an appointment made online, there may be a possibility that a mechanic isn’t even working during that time to help you out with your car woes. (I think this is more of a Goodyear corporate problem, though.)
It’s also difficult to call them (you’re put on hold until you reach retirement age,) so you may want to visit them in person if you have to. With all of the perfectly nice, family-​run auto repair shops up the street, I kick myself for even considering this place!

Totally impressed. I went on the Goodyear website in the morning, and a customer service rep ‘chatted’ with me and set up my appointment for a 2pm tire alignment. I walked in right after 2pm. Ryan was really nice and got me all set up. He said it may take between 60 – 90 minutes. He asked me if I was going to wait. No prob, I brought tons of stuff to do. At 2:36 he called me and said my car was done.
Fastest wheel alignment ever.

I took my personal vehicle in today to get some work done on it. Had the following done on my car —
Had the manual transmission flushed out, & refilled with synthetic transmission oil.
Purchased two new performance tires.
Had my brakes checked on the car — had the front brake pads replaced with ceramic brake pads, and also had the rotors resurfaced.
Had the brake line flushed out, & replaced with Dot 4 synthetic brake oil.
All this work done on a timely fashion… took my car in early this morning, got my car back by 2:30 PM.
Great service at a reasonable price! Car drives like a dream now!
Who says you need to take your car back to the manufacturer to do the work? Goodyear is the place to go, and Garrett (store manager) is the man to see!
