These guys are probably one of the best pizza joints you’ll find in the Waikiki area. I highly recommend going out of your way to pick up a pizza from them. Best of all, there is an alcohol store right across the street, so grab a Kona beer to enjoy with your pizza. Order a large and you’ll get some mammoth slices. Keep it simple, but they have some cool variety options. I always like a pepperoni — pineapple combo. Otherwise, pepperoni always works. Great escape from the overpriced food and restaurants near all the Waikiki hotels. Check this one out. You’ll get high quality pizza. I recommend take out or ask for delivery. Service is fine. Parking is ok.

First of all, when I went in to purchase my food and soda they were very rude and the guy behind the counter acted like I wasn’t even there. Once I was actually able to purchase my food, I went outside to eat in the car because I felt weird being in there and being stared at. While eating in my car in the parking lot I had a police officer come to my window and tell me that the owner at Boston Pizza had called the police on me for solicitation. The cop looked and saw I was eating THEIRPIZZA and drinking THEIRSODA and said I wasn’t breaking and by rules for doing so in my car. He went in to tell them that I was and by paying customer and they told him they have a big party of people showing up soon and want all the cars from the front gone. So if you are a paying customer and decide to eat in your car then you will probably have the cops called on you all because they have a party coming in. I won’t be back. Most rude service I have ever had.

After years of living on Oahu there are just three places that are my go to spots for a good margarita pizza: JJ Dolans, Nordstrom Café, and Boston’s Pizza KAIMUKI. Factors those places have in common that are makers or breakers(and they’re definitely MAKERS for all three places) are the three most important things to pizza: dough/crust, marinara, and cheese. For Boston, it’s certainly in that specific order. The crust is always perfectly crispy on the edges while remaining the perfect chewy texture without being soggy in the middle. I can only imagine it’s the preparation as well as perfect oven heat and timing. Well, they have that to a honed science. The marinara has a little zing, but most importantly is lightly sweet. And the cheese is always done in perfect proportion and is always chewy! Staff is attentive and friendly and they take AMEX! Love you Boston pizza KAIMUKI! May you open in SoCal someday so I can enjoy you when I hear back to the west coast. Will be back for sure!!!

Service: the service is always good because the staff is very friendly and customer service orientated. Sometime you may have to wait for your food because they have to make a new pie for the type of pizza you are looking for. Although the pizza is sitting there to be viewed, the staff always eats up your food in the rotating oven for at least 5 – 10 minutes. Environment: I only gave Boston’s Pizza four stars because their dining area is a little outdated. If I could I would give them 4 and a half stars.

only one size pizza here… LARGE! My family and I were in town for a week for vacation. We couldn’t figure out what to eat one night and decided to call Boston Pizza. I’m so glad we did! it was so good! Who knew you could find such good NY style pizza in Hawaii at a place named«Boston Pizza?!»

Meh. Boston Pizza disappointed. Maybe I’m bougie but I like my pizza thin-crusted, light, crisp, with fresh ingredients. Boston Pizza is the exact opposite. Had their speciality of the week pizza which came with jalapeños, bacon, and blue cheese. I was hopeful but the taste was just overbearing and it tasted like really cheap pizza. Maybe I should have ordered one with less toppings but even their plain pizza looked daunting. The problem, too, is that it isn’t cheap: one«slice» is about ¼ of a pie and cost $ 8. When you order, they cut it up into two, so you are really forced into paying for two slices. I guess I’ll just get my pizza from Whole Foods.

I’ve ordered whole pizzas from this location a couple of times. The pizza is what you come to expect from Boston — huge pieces, chewy crust, toppings to sauce ratio is pretty good, crust towards the middle of the pie is a little limp because the pieces are so huge. The people working there are all pretty young, but very nice. On one of my visits, they gave me a pizza where part of the crust was missing due to some mishap in the oven. Without me having to ask, the person ringing me up said they would knock a couple of dollars off the price since the pizza wasn’t perfect — thanks! The only real problem is their location. This is a real neighborhood pizza place. Nothing fancy about this place which is fine if the pizza is good — and it is. However, the parking is terrible. If you are picking up a pizza, bring a friend with you in case there isn’t any parking. They can get the pizza while you circle the block. Plus they are located on Waialae Ave which is always busy. Recommend backing your car into a space if you can find one — it will make it easier when leaving.

Kaimuki’s Boston Pizza has got you covered from a plain slice of cheese to their custom creations like the BLT with ranch dipping sauce, Carbonara, Buffalo Chicken, or Meatzilla. Order a pre-made slice from the case and they’ll heat it up for you or you can get a fresh whole pie. Either way the slices are big and the hand-tossed crust is dry(not oily) and chewy. My regular order is the Spinach, Garlic and Mushroom, it’s a white pie and I add crushed chili pepper flakes to give it a kick. Plan to takeout, there’s no AC so it gets warm in their dinning area. Way back in the day, like way back, the guys used to stand on Waialae at closing and sell the leftover pies for $ 5! They don’t do that anymore, and the pizza costs more, but it still has that same taste.

I love pizza and I LOVE the the freshly made pizzas here. I’m so happy that we moved to 10th ave to be closer. And the slices are huge!!! Since i can only get half the slice, its like 2 meals in one. The crust is not greasy like other chain pizza restaurants and the tomato sauce is reslly good.

So not having delivery was upsetting because im a lazy turd, but worth the drive over to kaimuki for the huge new York style pizza (I don’t know who came to Hawaii and said boston had a style of pizza but they lied to you and you needed to know.) We made a hawaiin pizza but with pepperoni instead and it was very tasty. The pizza was more than enough food for the two of us plus we had lunch for the next day. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Will definitely order another pie from here.

Bangin’ zzah. New York Style, HUGE pizzas. We’ve tried the Big Red and a pepperoni/sausage that was delicious. Only thing we weren’t down with, was the spinach on the Big Red made it a bit soggy– especially the leftovers and you will have leftovers. However, this doesn’t effect my rating because minus the soggy spinach, this was delicious pizza overall, best we’ve had in Oahu so far. Just pass on the greens unless you’re eating it in house. Yum! :]

Love the style of the pizza crust… just enough saice, toppings against the crust per slice. The quality of flavor is packed in. I’m typically satisfied at each visit, but this one was just okay. My ultimate favorite location is in Kane’ohe near Windward mall. They offered a chicken Alfredo with bacon and spinach was AMAZING& Hard to match. I also enjoy their cinnamon /garlic knots that are available. I wish Kaimuki would offer more to their menu. As for the staff… they seem friendly enough!

It pains me to give Boston’s less than 5 stars because this is my favorite place on the island to get pizza! My parents and I went to Boston’s for dinner the other weekend and ordered a whole pizza: half spinach and garlic and half pepperoni and sausage. Other customers came in to order and we’re getting their pizza pretty quickly, but I didn’t think much of it because they were only ordering slices. After about 20 minutes, we asked them the status on our pizza and the guy told us it was still in the oven and should be ready soon. And then finally we saw them take out a half and half pizza and we assumed it was ours. But then the name on the order wasn’t ours! The girl who took our order forgot to give the order ticket to the people making pizza, so the one we thought and the staff thought was ours was actually a woman’s pizza order that she called in and it was coincidentally the exact same pizza we ordered. It was an unfortunate mix up, but the staff apologized for the long wait and comped our pizza because of their mistake. I was upset at first(mostly because my hunger was taking over), but they handled it great and we got the pizza we wanted in less than 10 minutes after realizing the problem. I am still a diehard Boston’s Pizza fan but just as a way to make sure this doesn’t happen to you, check on your pizza order if it’s being baked to make sure they have your order!

Pizza is very good here. Not cheap, but certainly not too expensive considering the size — the pies are massive! We have tried about 4 different pizzas here and the Hot Italian is the favorite, followed closely by Big Red.

Omg, best pizza ever. They warm it up /cook it right after you order ! So it’s always really nice, fresh, and hot when you get it. I usually get their cheese pizza and oh my god, so DELICIOUS ! Super cheesy, and the thin crust is nice and soft ish crispy. Their slices are huge too. Basically ¼ pizza lol. Seriously, best pizza ever. Love them !

This pizza spot is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat and sharing it with a friend on the go. When you get there, there are already a variety of choices to pick from. You just pick what pizza you want and they heat it up for you. The workers are also really nice and all seem like they enjoy what they’re doing. If you go towards the end of the night closer to closing(9PM), there probably won’t be many options. So if you want to see all the different types of pizza they make, go during the day. You can either order your own pizza or order by the slice. To be honest, just one slice is the perfect size. A «slice» here is basically like a quarter of a pizza pan. SOMUCH! ANDITSSOGOOD. They cut it into two slices for you so it’s like getting 2 slices for 1. You can order a slice and even save the other half for later. my favorite is the Carbonara which has ham, garlic, spinach and I think bacon. The only thing is that parking is a little bit tricky because it is very limited. It is located on the corner of Waialae, so getting out of the parking lot can be hard because of oncoming traffic. Overall I love this place! It’s located at the bottom of my house so whenever I am craving pizza, this is always one of my go-to.

I love Boston Pizza. Usually, I’m at the Manoa location. We were on our way to Kahala Mall, so we stopped by the Kaimuki branch on Waialae. This location is actually pretty spacious. They had a few game machines in there, as well as two televisions. It was scorching hot in there. There was no AC and the huge oven was on. They do a lot of take out. The thirty minutes that we were there, six people came and got pizza. Their prices are steep. $ 5.50 for a slice of cheese pizza, $ 6.25 for one topping, $ 6.63 for two toppings and $ 7.21 for three toppings. Specialty slices are $ 7.50 and $ 8.12 for premium slices. They slices are huge though. You can ask them to cut the piece in half and it makes two regular slices. The hubby doesn’t eat red meat so we opted to share a slice of cheese pizza. We were heading out to dinner at Kahala so I didn’t want my own slice. I like my pizza loaded with toppings so I wasn’t thrilled about the plain cheese. We ordered our slice and paid at the cashier. They have a display case with all their pizzas in it. They’ll grab your room temperature slice out of the display and ask if you want it heated. We did ask for it to be heated. They put it in their oven for a few minutes and it was done. When we first got the pizza, it was piping hot. That’s how I like it because I know the thin crust will be crispy. I took my first bite and it blew me out of the water. I couldn’t stop eating it. It was the marinara sauce. It was fully flavored without being salty at all. I could taste a little sweetness in it. The balance of the sauce was perfect.

You know how they say your taste buds change every seven years? Well I used to hate Boston Pizza as a kid. But that was years ago and I figured time has gone by and my palate is more mature do things I may not have liked back then, I do now. Like I used to hate fish, but I eat it 3 – 4 times a week now. So, surely I’d probably like Bostons now right? No. No I do not. It’s still bland. It still tastes like cardboard. I’m sure it’s good for others. The restaurant was clean and fast. Just not for me.

Ok Boston Pizza… I tried to fix this without bringing it up on Unilocal, but obviously you guys didn’t care enough… A WASP. COOKED, MELTED in the pizza. My family became a frequent returning customers since we moved in the area. Their pizza is decent price for the huge slices we get. Even though we always talk about how rude the workers are sometimes, it was ok because we are here to enjoy some pizza as a happy family. Anyways, today I got two orders of pizza to eat lunch at my husband’s office at UH with my 2yo daughter. I opened the paper bag, and gave her a small piece of pizza, that’s when she pointed at the piece and said «mommy, fly.» «No it’s an oliv… oh.» It was actually a wasp, but anyways, good thing she pointed out. I almost fed her a wasp. We called the store to check what their policy is, and they told us its either exchange/refund if you bring in the slice(s). We didn’t feel like eating their pizza, at least today, so we decided to go for a refund. When we got to the restaurant, there were few other customers at the cashier so I said«oh hi, I called you guys about the slice…» discreetly so other customer doesn’t have to know our business. wrong. I’m tired of explaining what happened so I’ll just write out our conversation. Lady: «What? what about a slice?» Me: «Uh. the slice…(whispered) there was a wasp in it… I called earlier» Lady: «What??? Are you sure? Because I was here all day and I didn’t receive any phone calls.» (After finding out we did call them, just other guy had received the call) I took the slice out. She gave me this b**ch face and said «It’s an OLIVE.» Me:“Oh, no it’s a…“ Lady: «Oh.» Lady: «…Are you sure it’s this restaurant? because there are a lot of Boston’s here.» Me: «What? yeah I’m sure. I bought it here.» Lady«Oh ok.» —Fast forwarding the rest of conversation, I asked for refund and she told me she has to help other customers first. I don’t know why. But I waited anyways.— She came back with money, and this is what she said as she hand it to me: «Sorry about that, but it must have flown in AFTER its cooked. That’s 500 °F oven there, you know. It should burn off. The wasp isn’t even cooked or anything.» Ok… 500 °F oven right? Not to mention it’d be even more disgusting if unknown number of bugs must have flown in and burnt on their pizza occasionally, you guys successfully cooked, not burned your veggies and cheese. Wasp has its butt melted INTO the cheese. Not burnt. So, thank you for implying that the wasp must have flown into the pizza on its back AFTER we purchased it, and we are just one greedy, desperate customer to get $ 7 back so we can live another day. We were going to keep it as our business and forget about it, because this can happen at any restaurant and I personally don’t make this stuff a big deal… but here you go. Here’s a picture of wasp on your Unilocal page. Not because there was a wasp. Because of your BADCUSTOMERSERVICE. The pizza is good though.

Dear Kaimuki Bostons. The Hog Father. How have I not known about this sexy creature? Why do you not broadcast it with trumpets and tambourines to let the ignorant people know of its existence? Why do other Boston’s not have posters declaring«But if you go to the Kaimuki location they have a badass BBQ pizza there that will blow your pretty little mind!»? I can actually understand why those posters don’t exist. Why have I been forced to live without it for so long?!! But OH to discover this pie that is everything I have ever wanted on the eve of swearing off gluten mostly forever. Oh the pain. The tragedy. Not unlike Romeo and Juliet but with me and pizza and wheat and BBQ sauce. I have always been a fan of BBQ sauce pizza. But so oft is the sauce too sweet, or too little, or too excessive but MY have you hit upon the perfect recipe and proportions. WHY?!! Why. But holy hells I can guarantee that when I want to marinate in gluten and dairy and become bloated and weak and foggy and have shooting pains in my right arm and get so hormonally out of whack that I start to cry at facebook memes, I will totally do all of that with you. That is my promise. Love, Angela

RECOMMEND!!! GOTHERE!!! Holy crap do you get full off of $ 7. I personally don’t eat this type of food though it is not something I don’t desire. I stopped by to pickup a treat for a friend… yeah, okay, I had a bite. Anyhoo…the service is AMAZING! They have a great variety of pizza available and one slice is NOT a slice, it’s like 1⁄3 of a humongous pan. Parm chz and peppers, etc to your hearts content and they are quick! The parking is slightly inconvenient because it’s right off of Waialae Ave. Getting out can be a pain but trust me, it’s well worth it(walk if you can). BYOB and Tamura’s is right across the street. Let me reiterate… SERVICESERVICESERVICE! I LOVE to patronize a place where the employees give a damn. Great job people! We will be back!

My first impression of the place was«wow it’s bigger than it looks in pictures.» It’s a very clean, spacious area inside and ordering is very easy. Pick out which slice you want and pay! Cold water is complimentary, as are cheese and other condiments for your pizza. They have sports playing on the TV and the biggest one faces the workers themselves haha! But they offer two other TVs for patrons. I tried half a «slice» of the spinach, mushroom, and garlic pizza as well as the Big Red when I split it with my friend. Garlic chunks are amazing — I love it! Great texture and grew flavor. I personally liked the Big Red better; I think it’s the tomato sauce that made me like it, I don’t know. But both were good. I wish the Carbonara was available when I came though.

Bostons is the best! If you love thin crust pizzas, you will love them! One slice of their pizza is ¼ of an actual pizza! It’s so big! If you’re a cheap ass date, you should take your date to bostons! It’s cheap and delicious. Plus, everyone loves pizza. There’s a tiny parking lot in front of the restaurant but I’ve never had trouble finding parking!

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this pizza joint, Usually and still is very very HOT inside, always messy tables never cleaned. Anyway the one thing that completely turned me off, was that the guy grabbed our pizza with his bare hands!!! I mean he literally GRABBED the pizza to put it in the same pan before putting it in the oven. Sorry sir but I do not know where your hands have been, that’s disgusting.
