Modern Eyes Optometry

this optometry office is located inside the Lens Crafters store at Ala Moana. i’ve been coming to this office for the past 3 years now, and i have mixed feelings about this place.
i like how they send both a post card and an email reminder about your upcoming appointment. i also really like my eye doctor Dr. Kent Visher. he can be a bit odd, but he’s very knowledgeable and friendly. and he always hooks me up with an extra pair of trial lens and solution bottles… mainly because my eye exams usually fall around my birthday. so he usually says it’s my birthday gift lol.
the part i tend to have issues with are when i order contacts through the front office assistants. don’t get me wrong, they’re really nice. but after i placed my order for my contacts, i was told it would take about 1 – 2 weeks the latest to come in. couple days later, i get a call saying my contacts are ready to be picked up. couple minutes after i get that call, i get another call with them apologizing it was only my right side ready. i didn’t really mind too much at that time b/​c it had been only 3 or 4 days. 2 weeks passes by and i don’t hear from them. so i called to follow-​up with them and was told they would get back to me on this. 3 weeks in, and i still didn’t hear back from them so i then stopped by the office since i was at the mall at the time to inquiry about my status. the girl then went to check on it, and wasn’t sure what had happened. she then gave me my right side box and gave me 2 trial lens for my left side to hold me until my order came in. after waiting for about 4 weeks, i finally got the call that my left contacts were in. OMG! i play sports, so my contacts are very essential to me. and the fact that i had to wait that long to get my order is the reason for the 3 stars.
