If you’ve never tried a pitaya smoothie, then you must have your first at this little café! I’ve heard from others that dragon fruit tastes bland compared to the Acai, but when I tried it here I thought it had the right amount of sweetness plus a little tartness similar to when you eat kiwi! The pitaya here is blended with apple juice otherwise it would be bland like what everyone says. Even though the pitaya doesn’t have much flavor, don’t let that fool you from thinking it’s not as nutritious as the Acai! There’s a poster posted opposite of the cashier that states dragon fruit is high in vitamin C, iron, protein, fiber, and antioxidants. Besides the awesome health benefits and delicious, refreshing flavor, you can’t deny the awesome vibrant color the pitaya has: D Try it, you won’t regret it!

Since Eggs n Things is so popular they have a 10 – 20 minute wait at 4 in the afternoon, we opted to go here instead. I did a lookie loo as I passed by Eggs and it seemed like my kinda place. Soup, sandwich, salad. The usual offerings. They also have wraps but we didn’t get one, though they looked good. And smoothies. Today’s soup was spinach cream, which was not bad. We also got the turkey BLT and the tofu salad. Food was all good, specially the sandwich, though the salad was a little plain. Overpriced as usual though, given portion size. I get it, it’s right by the beach and tourist central so rent prices blah blah. But it’s my review, I can cry if I want to.

This place is a little gem across the way. Food is always prepared fresh and fast. They have a great combo here half a sandwich and acai bowl. Brought a friend visiting from Texas to eat here he loved it so much we went back a few times. Location is amazing and food is great. It just has that fresh taste to it.

Delicious quarter pounder, also loved the caprese sandwich. Friendly service, and no wait.

Super expensive. Tiny portions. I love the philosophy of this café, but they need to take a lesson from Hiking Hawaii café. I went for the Caprese sandwich($ 5.25) and it is TINY(see pic). Service is friendly and quick though. My smoothie was delcious as well but almost $ 7. I know it’s Waiks, but come on! Also, I was not offered the kamaaina discount mentioned in other reviews :(

Small little hole in the wall place I noticed while out exploring one morning. They were quick and made an EXCELLENT smoothie. A little pricey but considering its organic and in Hawaii I shouldn’t complain. It was worth it and I would go back :)

I love love this place! As a vegetarian I’m always looking for something healthy quick and yummy. Also I’m on the go a lot. They have delicious smoothies with fresh fruit. I love there veggie wraps with tofu and veggies and this peanut dipping sauce! Prices are reasonable. This place is so cute. It’s down the street from Arnolds and next door to Eggs and Things on Saratoga.

I was running late to my appointment but was hungry so I stopped in here. I got my first pittaya bowl here, and it was good. The servers were very friendly, rushed my order, and even apologized for my wait(which was not a wait at all)!

I had a chicken wrap me and my girlfriend shared it and it was amazing and it filled us up! We also got the Hawaiian tropics smoothie and that too was amazing! The staff is super quick and friendly and the cost is super cheap for the amount of food and that it’s organic is even better! I will definitely be returning

Egg salad croissant was delicious. Even though it was made of very basic ingredients it was surprisingly tasty. Lox bagel, on the other hand, was so so. Not even toasted.

I always like their smoothie but never tried food items. I had spinach tofu wrap the other day and it was DELICIOUS!!! The dip sauce was soooo yummy!!! They told me that the dip for the spinach wrap is handmade and it is not for sale… sad… I want to try their veggie burger and sandwich next time.

I got the green juice and veggie chili. Both were good, but customer service and attention seemed to be catered more towards the Japanese tourist.

We’ve been seriously deficient in our vegetable consumption since landing in Oahu. So when we found organic café and saw the long list of fruit and vegetable smoothies we immediately stopped in. We had a kale juice(kale, spinach, banana, apple juice) and the stunning pitaya(dragon fruit) smoothie. The kale juice was refreshing and the pitaya was sweet. I give this place 5 stars because the smoothies were relatively customizable, we opted for coconut milk instead of soy, and they were big! Kamaaina discount too! Now wee can continue our meat consumption :-)

Had the acai smoothie… you definitely get what you pay for. We got the small size and still couldn’t finish it. They have a pretty good sized menu of drinks and food. We sat outside with our drink at one of their tables and people-watched for a awhile. Great smoothies… would like to come back to try their food.

I’ve eaten at Marie’s Café a couple of times now and I have to say their food is always delicious. I had their wraps, sandwiches, and acai bowls and I can’t remember a time that I was unsatisfied. However, my favorite thing on the menu has to be the Pitaya smoothies. It’s so good. Their new location is much cleaner and aesthetically pleasing than their previous location. The ambiance feels more welcoming and it’s a lot easier to find. I know I’ll be back here time and time again.

This is the new location for Marie’s Health Foods Organic Café from Waikiki Shopping Plaza and I like it better! This café is targeting the tourists but they have a Kamaaina discount for the local residents. The acai+ sandwich set is my favorite here as well as many of their smoothies! I’m a vegetarian so I appreciate their overall menu as well as their gluten free menu! I’m definitely going back now that they have early morning openings with the breakfast menu.

Never tried their coffee. Their smoothies are something special though. Pitaya, Bluberry & Papaya, Maple, etc… best in the island. Tasty lunch menu too. There’s lots of specialty coffee places so I hope these other reviewers rate this place on what makes it different and that is the smoothies. Out of this world, highly recommended, regional must, lol try it out

Next to eggs and things this place took over a poorly performing Kimo Bean. Waikiki shopping Plaza remodeled their basement which made this small café move to a street location. It is a selection of organic coffees some pastries, not much atmosphere but a nice enough staff with cheesy furniture in front, really not much organic about this place. Organic is a mentality and a spirit, not just a word to use in the store name. They will be out of business in two months.
