Not impressed.
–No consideration for my time.
–They didn’t keep me informed when my delivery date slid (twice).
–They didn’t keep to their promised time lines (and didn’t seem to care)
–Delivery trucks are not street legal (so they can’t come on base).
Their furniture quality seems fine. Their prices are not outrageous. What ruined my experience is their poor customer service and incompetent management. I paid for my furnture up front and was promised a 2 week delivery. After two weeks had gone by, with no word from Richard or his wife (don’t recall her name), I called to inquire. «Oh, they are not ready yet. It will be two more weeks.» (The tone of her voice was along the lines of «of course I didn’t call you. If your furniture was finished, then I would have called you.)
Frustrating that she felt I didn’t even deserve the courtesy of a phone call.
I waited two more weeks (one month total and twice the promised time) and again, no call. I called the store to inquire and Richards wife answered, «still not done yet. A few more days.» At that point, I was disgruntled enough to demand a discount. She grudgingly agreed and that is why I grant two stars instead of just one.
To top it all off, they bungled the delivery. When I scheduled the delivery, I clearly pointed out that I live on a military base. «Yes, yes, no problem,» she stated. I attempted to explain the documentation requirements for vehicles on base but she cut me off with, «Yes, I know.» Well she sent a truck that was not legal (expired safety) and could not come on base. They had to rent a truck and come back the next day and I had to take off work two days in a row because of them. And not even an apology from Mrs. Richard.
I did business with them because their rattan furniture was not as outrageously priced as the other local shops (but still expensive) and I couldn’t find anything at the corporate stores or department stores.
I don’t recommend this business.

After looking at all the standard corporate furniture stores for island– style furniture, we found these folks! Exactly what we were looking for, and excellent prices. Richard, the owner and main personality, was great and fun to talk to. We bought on a Friday and they delivered on the following Monday.
