Royal Zen Spa

I prepaid for ten massages, but they don’t answer the phone, and when I stopped by, the door is locked. I would like a refund for the unused massages, but there is no one to talk to to get the refund. I think they’re on their way out.

Highly recommend the Royal Zen Spa, what a relaxing environment providing 90 minutes of massage bliss during my work week. Paul was my massage therapist and did an excellent job — I really felt relaxed the rest of the day and never slept so sound. Priced right and worth every cent.

I made an appointment for 90 minutes with a specific male massage therapist. Since this was my first visit, I filled in the usual information form. I was given a glass of water while filling out the form. I was taken to one of the therapy roomy by the same female worker who gave me the glass of water. She was going to do my 90 minutes massage session. I objected and asked for the manager. I explained to the manager that I booked a 90 minutes massage session with a specific male massage therapist. Apparently no one called the massage therapist to notify him of his 3PM appointment. They tried to substitute my scheduled appointment with another male therapist, and shorten the session to 60 minutes. Then the manager asked what type of massage that I preferred (relaxing/​sport/​deep tissue) and what type of shorts that I wore today (strange question). I felt uncomfortable and upset. I told her that I was canceling the appointment. I got dressed and left. They did apologize, but I won’t be going back to Royal Zen Spa. Disappointing experience…

It’s very good! My boyfriend came in with lower back problems and he didn’t complain about any pain for the rest of the night!

Great spa in downtown! Got a fabulous massage, and my wife got a massage and facial. Everyone was super nice! Thank you!
