I brought my family here when they were about to fly out because I really enjoy the food especially the millionaires salad and mojitos. We were there around 3 so it wasn’t a peak restaurant time. After my dad and I had each ordered a mojito I went inside to wash my hands, when I did I heard our server make a comment to the bartender something along the lines of «ready for this wrench, 2 mojitos?» I thought that was super rude but I’m passive aggressive so I brushed it off. After some time Dad and I ordered another round of mojitos, turns out they are 86ed now, no more mint leaves. I’m calling bullshit. I was a fan but not anymore, won’t be back.

I’ve been to Seven Palms for lunch a bunch of times because it’s only a few minutes away from work. The customer service is usually good; their regular lunch hostess is friendly and doesn’t make us wait long for a table. PROS: +Indoor and outdoor seating +Good view of the golf course +They offer daily specials +Reasonable prices +They have both a lounge and a restaurant area with TV’s CONS: –Food needs some work –Food needs some work –Food needs some work –Their menu is small and would be effective if the food quality was better I only eat at Seven Palms for the sake of convenience. Obviously I’m not impressed with the food. I’ve only really enjoyed one thing on the menu which is their Rubenesque sandwich. Overall, Seven Palms is a nice restaurant but none of the dishes or the customer service has ever blown me away.

Food is good, view is awesome BUT it’s just a little too pricey. Nice place to take guests for a decent view of the the water and the atmosphere is calming and refreshing.

Open to the public(do not have to be military or a member of the golf club to eat). We used to eat there on Friday nights when they had the 2 for 1 steak special. They no longer have that deal, and to be honest, it really is not worth it now. Prices are about $ 20 a person, some meals cheaper, some meals more expensive. The food quality has gone up a little bit since we have been eating here for the past two years, but without the Friday night special, it is really not worth going back on Friday nights. They have outside dining on the lanai with a nice view of the west sky and golf course; their inside is chilly with AC. I had no idea there was a happy hour or social hour for food items until I read the other reviews. We have been going for several years now. I don’t know where that is advertised; it is not on the table, not on the board of specials, and the wait staff has never told us.

I don’t get the rough and scary reviews! This is a great place, good for kids and good food! Our server went above and beyond to cater to our needs, ask for Cedric!

5 *****(stars) minus 1 *(star) for not including alcohol for their social/happy hour = 4 ****(stars) for this place. Alcohol and food are at different times. I would give you a 5 stars if you had them both! Happy Hour/social hour starts from 6:30 — closing for their food item. This is awesome! as most restaurant’s happy hour are from 5 – 7. & pricing are really cheap! & they are regular size portions– not mini I wish that they add alcohol to happy hour, as I would come here every week! I always wanted to check this place out & times we planned to go, it would be too late to make it out. Yay! to the hubby for saying«yes» to this place & for driving there Its is a nice restaurant We sat at the bar area. Our waiter was friendly, didn’t get his name,(at the beginning) & then we was helped by Joanne.(she was very nice!, always coming by to check on us) We had a hard time deciding on what to order, everything on the menu and happy hour looks so good! & we finally decide on: The surf & turf, steak and crab, got all rice 21.00 I think 21.00 is not bad, for 5 or 6 crab legs and steak Buffalo chicken wings with bleu cheese dressing– 6.75(? don’t remember exactly) crab & artichoke dip– 5.50 side of rice– 2.75 We love our rice! We enjoyed our food, big portions! We were stuffed and had leftovers! Overall, we really enjoyed our time and experience there! We will be back! most def.!! I know the reviews are not the greatest for this place, but I took a chance & Im glad that I did so. :0) & a reason to go shop at Target after dinner & it was on the way! & my hubby gave me a happy«YES» that we can go to Target after. Killed 2 birds with one stone! happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! Will be back, planning a dinner/get together with my co-workers. Can’t wait!

Came here because for my friend’s surprise Chief party and the sun was setting by the time we made it to the restaurant. It was a beautiful setting on the second floor on the back patio area over looking the golf course. The coconut trees were beautiful and the grass was well manicured. We thought a golf course this nice looking on a military spot was gonna be great! I should have noticed that the restaurant was practically empty other than the 16 of us outside and maybe 2 tables if that on the inside with 4 people at dinner time at 6pm should have been an indication that it would not be any good! Anyways we were here for my good friend’s celebration so we were going to eat regardless. Since everyone was going to eat so were we. Everyone opted to eat at the buffet so we went with the crowd, except two people. We should have followed them but we didn’t. There was nothing worth it at the buffet. Typical salads… spinach with mushroom or lettuce with cucumber and something I can’t even remember now. A cold pasta noodle with cut up cold deli meat with mayo. The only thing good was the candied beans. Dried fried rice. They also had corn on the cob cut up into inch and was dry as well. Dried fried chicken with gravy. Dried fried fish. Dried ribs with sauce on the side and more dried ribs with BBQ sauce on the side. Can you see where I’m getting at? The soup they had was a tomato based crab soup of some sort that was ok, it wasn’t dry so I was able to eat that easily. The corn bread was not bad. Other than that I didn’t even attempt to eat the desert cause I was so disappointed in the food I can’t imagine this place staying in business much longer if they’re going to continue to be serving this type of food. Do not go here. And service… after half and hour we finally got water! And let’s say that was the only time we got our water. The guy never came back to fill up my water. Will never come back here. My friend paid for our entire meal for all 16 of us… so it’s not like it wasn’t a cheap date or anything. Very disappointing and horrible service on top of horrible food.

We went to Seven Palms tonight to celebrate a friends promotion(he’s military, of course) and had the big area outside just for our party. The venue is clean and the table settings are ellegant. The view from the balcony is amazing! It overlooks the golf course and you can see the ocean in the distance. The weight staff were more concerned with socializing than making sure we had waters and silverware, which was the first bummer. The second let down was the food. There was a spread of caesar salad, spinach salad, pasta salads, some type of fried rice and potato wedges. Ok no problems there. The ribs were also decent, fell off the bone and tasted pretty good. They had 2 different fried fish which tasted ok… because everything tastes better fried… but didnt have much flavor other than the tartar sauce you have to put on it. Other than the salad, there wasn’t much selection of vegetables(but perhaps that has more to do with the US diet and supply and demand). For a buffet in Hawaii, the price is reasonable but hopefully they can improve their food. Other than our party, there were 2 or 3 small groups. On a Saturday night for dinner, this place definitely has potential. Personally, I would wait a few months to eat here again. The view and being able to accomodate our party definitely saved the night.

I love this place. my fam and I always come here for Brunch and the food is always good! I love the omelette station but it can be quite a wait since there is only on cook… Their service is really warm and friendly, and they always check on you. A great breeze when you choose to sit outside, and a great view of the golf course.

I’m impressed! This is our second visit to Seven Palms and both the service and food have been fantastic! Elvie who seated us was so welcoming and friendly. Our Server Emma was always there for us. My husband had the BBQ Western Burger and it was a masterpiece. I had the Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich(with the bread on the side) with the Seven Palms Salad(instead of fries). I WANTEDMORE!!! It was THE tastiest eggplant parmesan I have ever had. Our first visit I had their Monte Carlo, which was equally amazing! Great golf course views from the verandah and there are lots of great old military photos hanging downstairs that are incredible to look at. I definitely suggest trying the Seven Palms Bar & Grille if you are in the area!

This review is based solely on two farewell lunches we held there. The pros are plenty and the cons are few. The salads were uniformly good whether as a small side(subbed for a small fee in place of French fries that would normally accompany a sandwich) or an entrée size, with fresh, crisp ingredients and tasty pairings like beets and green apples. Also, they had more variety than the typical burgers and club sandwiches, including their take on the Monte Cristo(referred to as a Monte Carlo) and the Reuben. My French onion soup was not as hot as it should have been(meaning not hot at all, only warm). With a drink, my soup and salad ran about $ 15.75, which was a little steep for the overall experience. But everyone from the server to the shift manager was uniformly nice and the view of the Navy golf course cannot be beat!

What a fine place to have lunch, especially on the patio/lanai overlooking the nice looking Navy and Marine Corps a Golf Course. They do have plenty of selections, but their fish & chips should not be missed; they used Dover sole. Of course, sometimes the chef, maybe different ones, either over, or under cooked the fish. If that ever happened, don’t eat it all, and let them redo it. Enjoy your great lunch!

We went to this place for a quick bite after a long day at work. We sat on the patio and ordered a couple beers and planned on ordering lupus. The waitress was nice enough to tell us that pupus are ½ price if you sit in the bar after 6:30 to closing. So we moved to the bar. Extra points to that waitress. Had A LOT of pupus. Spinach artichoke dip, teriyaki meatballs, chicken wings, and kalua pig sliders. The portions were BIG. They weren’t anything special, but the prices after hours was worth it. Pretty chill sitting if you want to sit in the dining room. There’s a more laid back feeling in the bar. In the bar itself, the staff were pretty friendly. We stayed close to closing, so they were less attentive at the end. Nothing too horrible. We may be back there, if nothing but it’s fairly close to home and the food is cheap.

Still good service and all you can eat seafood buffet. The price has gone up to $ 29.95 per person and drinks are $ 2.50 per person now, but unlimited refills. Still affordable and great value!

They don’t really even deserve 2 stars, but because our waitress was so nice I’m giving them 2. Food was horrible. My husband had the cheeseburger sliders that were mediocre. They were apparently smoked, which you don’t do for a location like this. He puked bc of them they didn’t taste that good. I had the seafood pasta. The only good part was the noodles. The sauce was the wrong kind for this dish, the shrimp was hard & rubbery, there were whole garlic in the dish, the crab was impossible to crack & I didn’t dare try the mussels after trying the crab & shrimp. The restaurant itself is a joke. John Taffer would be highly disappointed. I had a smushed French fry on the floor next to my chair. & while we were sitting there eating I noticed a server playing around with menus, instead of cleaning up the garbage that was next to him on the floor. This isn’t a harsh review, this is a factual review.

My husband and I would occasionally eat at Sam Sneads, but now that Seven Palms took over the food and bar is not worth the money. I was a fan of several dished Sam Sneads had to offer, but Seven Palms has really disgusting food. I honestly don’t think the chefs pay attention to what they put out. My friend got an avocado burger but the avocado wasn’t even ripe. I ordered the cobb salad which is suppose to have chicken in it, but it didn’t, but it did have a TON of feta cheese and blue cheese… which made the salad gross. The only good meal I’ve ever had there is the chicken quesadillas. Now the bar… that is just HORRIBLE. My husband had to order 4 times before the waitress finally came back with a beer all because they didn’t have most beers on tap that they had listed on their menu. Also, when my friend ordered a shot, it came in a small glass, not a shot glass. which is fine, but he knew that wasn’t a full shot. He told the waitress and she returned with an actual shot glass. He was right, they didn’t pour him a full shot the first time. I don’t think the bartender knows what he/she is doing. Last night was the last time we ever spend money at that establishment. Most disgusting food and the bar is not worth it for drinks. just know that their beer selections are not the greatest. I really want to know what the manager of this establishment is thinking. The bartender seems very mediocre, the chefs make their food super salty, disgusting, and incorrect at times, and the waiters do not screen the food as it’s coming out to make sure it’s correct(although the waiters are really nice and didn’t have much a problem with them). I think this place could use a HUGE improvement because their location.

Not crowded, reservations easy to make. A lot of parking. Area is clean and well kept. Window cleaner needs to watch a how-to video. Sunday Seafood buffet is $ 25. Includes crab legs and sometimes, prime rib. Service is good, food is hot and tastes great. Seating available inside or outside. Sports bar is connected to restaurant with tv and darts. Fruits were kind of yucky. Desserts are ok, but I was not excited.

The worst restaurant ever! The first sign of trouble was when walking in without a reservation at 12:00pm on a weekday the restaurant was only one third full. We were seated immediately and the table was fifty and sticky. I ordered the fish of the day sandwich and couldn’t eat it because the batter covering the fish was so salty. I complained and changed my order to a tuna sandwich thinking you can’t mess up something as simple as this dish. WRONG! It was the worst. It was drenched in mayonnaise and the bread was soggy. Don’t see this restaurant being around for a long time. The restaurant was much better when it was owned by a different owner and was called Sam Snead’s. Back then you needed a reservation and if you were a walk-in you waited in a long line. The military personnel and civil service employees had many birthday, retirement and farewell parties there. Did not see that at this new restaurant.

I miss you, Sam Snead! If you don’t know. Sam Snead’s was what this place was before Seven Palms. We were regulars and loved it. Delicious food, top notch service, great vi– oh wait, I’m actually supposed to be reviewing Seven Palms instead. Aw, man! I’m not sure if Sam Snead’s set the bar so high for us or what happened, but when we visited Seven Palms, we were expecting the same quality. Our experience wasn’t even close. We went on a weekday evening and it was not crowded at all. We wanted to sit outside which is where we had always sat before. It was nice, we had just gotten our beverages and then suddenly we smell cigarette smoke coming from downstairs. There’s a bar & grill type place downstairs. We ignored it for awhile figuring that it should subside soon, but nope. It became overwhelming so we let our waitress know. Her response, «Oh yeah, I smell it too». Okay, yes. you smell it for the few minutes that you’re at our table, not dining with it. Her response should have been to offer us another table without our having to ask. After asking, she said she would need to get permission first. Okay, lame. All those empty tables inside and you need to get permission? We were finally moved inside to a table that was crammed up against a wall. We didn’t want to complain because we were spending time with family on our last few hours of our trip. We were literally headed to the airport to catch our flight as soon as we were done with dinner. Now to the food, out of our party of 4, only 1 person was completely satisfied with their order. 25% success rate, ouch. Sure, they gave large portions but that’s probably to make up for the fact that it’s not great. The presentation was nice, but the food was just bland. Nothing special. One of those deceitful things where everything looks so good you can’t wait to dig in. then you’re just like. «Oh». Service was also lacking which was something that absolutely never happened at Sam Snead’s. Orders were wrong a few times, requests were forgotten about, we had to ask for refills, etc. We all left a little disappointed that night. The best part was spending time, but it would have been better if we actually enjoyed the establishment just as much as we enjoyed our company. Did I mention that I want Sam Snead back? :-(

The Sunday Brunch here is deals! It’s $ 23.95 with crab legs, prime rib, omelet station and the usual suspects you would find in a brunch. The brunch comes with bottomless fruit punch, iced tea, or coffee. The food was good! I had no expectations coming here so I was surprised at the spread! My favorites were ribs, lobster claws, garlic mash, mahi(wasn’t dry!!!), prime rib and lox. Other entrees that were as expected included chicken, omelet, sausage and bacon, shrimp cocktail, hash brown, rice, and crab legs(maybe a few more I forgot). The dessert bar consisted of bread pudding, jello, fruit, chocolate fountain, red velvet cake, carrot cake, and flan. It was a good variety. If you require a solid salad bar you might be disappointed. For veggies there only was a salad. However if your more into eating the entrees this place will satisfy. Service was fine. We were checked on and plates were cleared in a decent time. All in all, I think there is a good variety to please everyone! Also, as others have mentioned you DONOT need to be military to enjoy! Happy brunching!
