Xtermco

After a HORRIFIC experience with Terminix several years ago, I found Xtermco when looking for someone to do our Sentricon termite system. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews about them because our experience with them has only been positive. They are always on time, never miss an appointment, the cost is very reasonable for the amount of times they come to check the Sentricon stations, they always call a day ahead to confirm the appointment… we are very happy with them.
So I called them to come and see if we had a carpenter bee nest on our property because we had a LOT of activity around the house. They said they found one abandoned nest that we could seal up ourselves (and they told me what to do), but the bees were probably coming from the neighbor’s side. No charge to come all the way out to Kapolei and take a look.
When I asked about ant/​roach pest control once, they told me that I should treat the house as a last resort. Gave the general tips on keeping things as neat and clean as possible, taking trash out regularly, using regular baits I could buy in store first, and if all fails THEN call them. I felt they were truly trying to help us and not just take our money. So after we tried everything to keep the ants out, we got a free estimate the other week and just had the house treated a couple of days ago. Everyone who comes to the house is very nice and professional as are all the office staff I speak to.
I am so happy with Xtermco that when someone came to our door soliciting cheaper pest control services, I had to decline because we prefer to stay with Xtermco for all our needs.

Update: I had to write a letter to the president of the company informing him of the terrible service. The matter was swiftly brought to the attention of the manager who ignored us before. The end result was a somewhat terse and begrudging apology letter from him.
The company monthly pest control service was excellent. It’s too bad the tenting side lost them a customer.

Quick to take your money. Busted gutters. No post-​tenting follow-​up. I made a big mistake using them.
